A week before we left, I contacted Mike to see if he'd be available to do a family photoshoot. He was super responsive, and everything was set up within a couple days. He recommended a time in the afternoon to meet for "golden hour", but we were a bit apprehensive about the time due to our baby's sleep schedule. Mike was very understanding and said we could play it be ear as the day gets closer. The day before, we decided to meet in the morning instead, which Mike graciously accommodated. The photoshoot itself was a very pleasant and seamless experience. Mike was very friendly and made us feel at ease. Newborns are not always the most cooperative, which Mike was very understanding about. We even went over the hour-long time limit of the photoshoot, which he said not to worry about. I also mentioned how I liked some shots he did with another family that I saw on his website, which he was happy to try to recreate with us!

Just to be clear our appt was for 12/6/25 and it was booked on 11/25/25, not last minute. The young girl at the desk listened to my frustration. She tried to book us for the next day but my son was leaving at 5:00am. She finally said she would do the photos herself. However, I do not think she was a photographer. She had no experience with the baby and just kept saying "Smile Baby". The photos were okay, but out of 119 we liked 4 or 5. This was the second time we used them, the last time wasn't great either and it was for my daughter's engagement. We thought we would try again. We bought a few but only because we did so much to make it happen. SO disappointing for a Marriott approved company. I feel they would have used a better photographer at their resort.

The initial unedited pictures were upfront beautiful and the final product was breathtaking. She caught amazing candid pictures throughout the event and did an awesome job directing the group photos (ie imagine posing a large group composed of both elderly grandparents and 4 year-old grandchildren). She was so polite in helping people position themselves for the picture, while also making them feel very comfortable throughout the process. After our wedding, I realized that I had not taken a single photo and was 100% grateful to have Michelle capture our wedding - she did an outstanding job.
