I've always had pretty good luck with the tools I've bought at Harbor Freight. In six years I've burned up a drill motor and sander, both of which were replaced for free. Service up until my last visit has always been exceptional, especially with Bowman. But in my last visit I had the distinct displeasure of having to deal with Caleb. I had an old ad on my phone for buying a 5-ah battery and getting a free tool with about ten to choose from. The ad said "For a limited time only," but with no expiration date. Fine. I needed a sander so I decided to go battery operated. I got the tool and 5-ah battery and went to the register. I showed the woman at the register the ad on my phone but said I didn't know if it was still valid. She said she'd ring it up and see what happened. I said fine. The register didn't show a discount or freebie, which I said was fine. I was going to get it anyway. She said to wait and she'd check with her manager. In comes Caleb. He said no, that's not what the sale is. I showed him my phone with the ad displayed. He didn't even look at it. I said "look, if the sale is no longer in effect, just tell me that." His response was "I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU THAT BATTERY FOR FREE FOR BUYING THAT TOOL." I said that wasn't what I wanted. The deal was buying the battery and getting the tool for free. It's like what I said went in one ear and out the other with nothing in between to comprehend. Then he said he could give me a 3-ah battery with the tool. I said fine, which was a better deal for me. Then he went to get a 3-ah battery, brought it to the counter and left. It wasn't until I got home that I checked my receipt and found that what I paid for was the tool, the $60 3-ah battery with a $20 discount, and several other items that I also bought. In other words, the 3-ah battery was not free, just discounted. I'll continue to shop at the Washington City Harbor Freight for the prices and convenience. However, if Caleb somehow gets involved, I'll just walk out and come back another time.

We originally came to this store March of 2017 because my husband wanted some Oakley Sunglasses. He ended up buying the Shaun White version online and loved everything about them. We then came March of 2018 and experienced the best service we have received there. The worker was moving up to Salt Lake location because he was getting a manager position, and he was amazing, I only wish I could remember his name. This visit my husband bought another pair of Oakleys, and got his previously glasses repaired for free. I also got my dream Michael Kors Cat Eye Sunglasses this trip. We then came back March of 2019 because my husbands lenses got really beat up when they got concrete on them, and we had amazing service again. A different sales rep (I think his name is Dominique?), but the same amazing experience. They replaced my husbands lenses at the best possible price, & cleaned both of our glasses for free. They gave us new microfiber clothes and sunglass cases for free. We love Sun Stop and won't buy sunglasses anywhere else, if we even need to ever again:)

I came in to get my watch sized correctly. After they resized it they offered back the watch and…read morethe extra links and started wrapping up the transaction. One of the other team members then came up and let them know that there were still parts from my watch in the back. They then took back my watch and the bag of extra links; It sounded like they didn't know about the end caps for the rod that secures the links together. After a few minutes they came back and gave me my watch and all of the extra parts; the resize was $15. Since then the little rods have been sliding loose/ out of the links by as much as 2-3mm. It also looks like some of the rods are missing their end caps which explains the sliding. If the other employee didn't notice the extra parts in the back I'm not sure if they would have been returned to me. I'm also not sure if this resize was done correctly because of the loose link rods. It could be they were unfamiliar with the brand of watch; it was Seiko, a Japanese brand. If so I wish they would have refused the resize instead of offer a subpar job. Images attached: The rods have been labeled 1-8. I believe rods 1, 2, 4, and 5 have been left alone. I have had sliding issues with rods 3, 6, and 7. An example of the rod and end cap is also included.
