I had a most disagreeable experience at this store yesterday, October 30, 2014. My painters were waiting at the job site to get the paint. A woman who eventually identified herself as "The Manager" provided me some of the worst customer service I have ever had from a retail store in many years. Her name is Aliza Aldatzi and she was rude, curt, arrogant and just totally lacking in customer service skill. In the past experiences at this store I have never seen her and my orders were taken by "Johnny". I buy a lot of paint as I remodel homes but I will make sure I avoid this Vista Paint store because who needs more bad service in their lives?

When I gave him my business card for the contact details, Juan noticed that I'm a realtor and asked if I buy paint often. I explained that I buy paint for my sellers who need to freshen things up before marketing their homes. Juan suggested a professional discount that I can register for and save myself and my clients money. Juan was very professional and gave me the same customer focused service that he'd give to all his customers during the business day. When you're done with the wood, someone is usually watching you and they know when you're done usually. Or you can just let them know you're done and you want your form with the wood you got counted. Then you drive back out and park your car to pay inside. Then when you leave that parking lot, you give the guy in the shack your form and the receipt. Then he recounts your wood again. Then the little arm lifts up and you're out. You can rent a lot of tools inside but it's a bit expensive if you rent it for a long time. Might as well buy the tool and resell it on marketplace at that point. There's some drop in showers you can buy here. Also some sink options. There's a bathroom inside if you need to go.

They know their stock and are happy to give you tips on getting a project done. They stock tons of items, and it is a rare thing for me not to find what I need when I shop there. They have one of the most complete bolt/screw/fastner selection in Ventura County. Amazing, considering their limited floor space! Go elsewhere if you want to choose between 30 kitchen faucets, or 18 toilets. But if you just need that certain item to finish up a project, Frank's is the place to go.
