Messed up my haircut not once, but twice on separate occasions. Certain employees and one of the managers had an unpleasant vibe to them. Atmosphere put me off pretty quickly. I have the strong sense that the stylists were more concern about making money than quality and efficiency. Would not recommend this location. read more

Got my hair done here for the very first time. I'm totally in love with my hairstyle and color. I normally do not have good experiences at hair salons, but for the very first time I'm totally satisfy. The staff is friendly. The salon is clean. Now let me tell you about my stylist Ashley, omg! She is wonderful. Listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and the best part discussed pricing before getting started! She took her time to look at my hair and what would work and wouldn't. This same time last year was my first - AND LAST - experience with this place. I'm no spring chicken, and over the years this place is one of only two hair spots that I will NEVER, under any circumstances, visit again. First off, although the reception area is clean & inviting, the actual "work" area wasn't clean. And I'm definitely not a clean freak. Second, after being asked for & giving details on what works best for me & my hair, the "stylist" (cough, cough) did what she pleased. In fact, when she asked & I definitively told her that I liked my hair "unparted" to let it do its own thing, she still cut & styled my hair so that it was parted on the side. When I tried to correct her, she actually had the audacity to tell me - "get used to it - this is the way you should be wearing your hair". Honest to God. Being the somewhat wimp I am with hair stylists, & feeling that if I contested the issue I might leave the place even uglier than I already felt I was, I couldn't wait to bolt from my chair & leave. NEVER AGAIN!!! If you're a really strong personality & require nothing more than a very simple cut, you might do fine here. Otherwise, my advice is to STEER CLEAR!! read more

I love love love Lorenzo at PR at Partners in Warrenton, VA! I have some of the wildest hair out there, no hair stylist has ever failed to inform me of this. My hair is kinky, curly, thick, and HUGE. And because it's so thick I usually end up with wayyyy too many layers because the stylist just gets overwhelmed and doesn't know where to begin or end. BUT Lorenzo knew just what he was doing! On top of styling my hair straight, he has also shown me how to manage my hair when I want to wear it natural. He cut it in a way that it looks great curly, straight, curled, wavy, however! Only the second hairstylist to everrrr make my hair beautiful. Love him! read more

The salon is too expensive for me to use on a regular basis (my haircut is too simple to pay that kind of money! lol), but I would definitely go back for anything special. I can honestly say that I had the best hair experience of my life today on June 13, 2013. I have never actually had a go-to hair person but if I had to pick, *Chelsea* at Warrenton's PR and Partners would definitly be the one! I have had some terrible experiences at certain hair places, even as far as Tyson's Corner. I received a combination of color treatments this morning including all over color, highlights and lowlights. I was a bit hesitant about doing the color at first because I've always had the same look. I was ready for a change and am so glad I went to PR and Partners and met with Chelsea for my consultation. Chelsea was extremely professional, courteous, and kind. She went the extra mile to really work on my hair. She was great at adding color and highlights and keeping it with the times. She was understanding, a good listener, patient, and friendly. I am a teacher at a public school, so I didn't want anything too drastic. She kept it looking natural but still a little on the trendy side. It wasn't overdone or had zebra-looking highlight stripes. My hair turned out to be very natural and classic looking. One thing that I have to mention that I loved about this salon was that they are extremely knowledgable about their hair products. Everyone knows how after you get a hair cut and color, some hair stylist is trying to push you into buying their products...we've all been there, right? It turns out that other salons were telling me to use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner- this strips the color out of your hair-and then you have to go back more for highlights. Chelsea and the amazing receptionists at this salon pointed me in the right direction regarding color-safe products and were EXTREMELY knowledgable about what is safe for your hair. The products were a percentage off of the cost at the time so I know that they were being supportive and helpful. They really knew what they were talking about and weren't trying to steer me in the wrong direction. On another *positive* note, this salon was affordable. I didn't have to pay an arm & a leg to get these services done. The salon was clean, polished, and had new equipment that was faster and more efficient than most salons. I was happy I wasn't stuck sitting under an old dryer for 45 minutes+. The equipment was up to date and it seemed like I was in and out in no time! After going through too many "hair-raising" experiences, I have finally found my "hair heaven!" I will definitly be returning again for my next appointment! :-) read more

I hate talking and comparing about hair salons but this time im going to do it ...Once i went in i really liked it , the girl i got was really nice to me , but i would of expect her to talk to me about hair products ; like which one she recommends to me or so , but nothinggg !! The other girls who worked there i remember them being super friendly with there clients & they were giving reccomendations . Another thing was that they were very expensive, she charged me $200+ just for a hair coloring & "cutting" my hair in "layers" plus putting on a product that would help the color stick in a lot longer supposedly "6 weeks" instead of "3" days later after getting my hair dyed i could see my old color !!!!!!! I thought she said 6 weeks not 6 days !!! Such a rip off & ofcourse im not going back ! I Don't recommend this place to anyone !!!! read more

Chelsea is amazing! I have been searching for a new stylist since mine moved. She was very pleasant and listened to exactly what I wanted done. She took her time on my color and made sure she got all the roots. My appointment was on time also, which I was pleasantly surprises since most hair salons are running late. Very nice place, all the girls are super nice, and nice atmosphere. Def a must for color- call Chelsea. read more

So I'm not particularly fussy about my hair but I do like to be able to make it look nice when the occasion calls for it. I first visited a salon in Warrenton - name rhymes with Blair Buttery - and I ended up with a mullet. :-/ I was pretty hesitant to try another place but I had a wedding to attend and wanted non-mullet like hair for the occasion. So I made an appointment at PR at Partners and was assigned to Rose N. I'm so happy I did! Rose did a partial highlight and re-cut my hair. My hair looked incredible. But I knew the true test would be after I washed and tried to style my hair myself. After I did so, it still looked great. Its been about three weeks and I'm still thrilled with the cut and color. Today I took my 6 year old daughter to Rose to cut off 10 inches so she could donate her hair. She's been waiting a long time for this moment so I was nervous that her hair would look too short and she would be disappointed. However Rose came through again. My daughter has the cutest short hair cut and she loves it too. I can't speak for any of the other stylists at PR @ Partners in Warrenton but I highly recommend Rose. She is very talented and super easy to talk to. She's highly intelligent and has a very interesting background. Just ask her about Africa! I will definitely go back to see Rose in the future. read more
