    Booked an appointment and the company was a no-show, no call. Extremely unprofessional to not even give notice or reach out. Had to take off work and slot my day for this, and it's extremely inconsiderate of my time. Called 2x and texted, no response. Waited for over an hour after our scheduled appointment. I understand it's a smaller job, but there's no excuse to not at least inform me.

    Another amazing job from Pablo. I needed my screens repaired because my cats ripped them. He came within days of contacting him, picked up the screens at 9:30am and dropped them off that same afternoon. He replaced them with extra thick mesh to make them as kitty cat proof as possible.     Dreamline frameless shower door

    Pablo installed a Dreamline frameless shower door in my alcove shower and it came out fantastic. He was friendly, honest, and had a craftsman work ethic which I appreciated. Thank you for an excellent job!

    Interim plywood cut to fit and screwed into place, with window screen replaced over the front.

    TL;DR - Five stars. I highly recommend. MY NEED: An intruder threw a chunk of concrete through my double-paned, double-hung window in the middle of the night. The next morning, I looked at Yelp reviews for mirror & glass repair shops serving north east LA. Four shops got back to me with a quote; two were similarly low and a third, which though twice as expensive, also had twice as many reviews and most of all, said they were at a job close by and could come by shortly to take a look. Accordingly, when Pablo with PR Glass & Windows returned my call, I asked him to come by in an hour, (after the time I expected the other shop to come). I asked about covering the broken window, and Pablo said he would cut pieces and bring them. This was Thursday and he said he'd have the new window by Saturday or Monday (which was a federal holiday). Certainly a faster turnaround than all the other quotes. REPAIR PART 1: Pablo and his assistant arrived promptly at the time we agreed on and got to work removing the remaining glass, removing the old adhesive, and installing the temporary board to cover the missing pane with a brace (not pictured) on the inside of the house. He fit the screen (which the intruder had pulled away in order to break the glass and was still usable) back in place over the plywood. During the work, I confirmed the price he had quoted me. However, after the work was done, he asked for an additional $50 for the plywood cover. I couldn't deny I'd only asked for a quote for the window, and the cover did involve materials and labor, so I agreed. He asked for a deposit but allowed me to decide how much. Since he seemed to be doing a good job efficiently and promised the quickest turnaround, we paid him half. THE WAIT: Since the window had to be ordered, and Monday was a federal holiday, I gave him an extra day. When I called him for an update. He was relieved to hear from me: his truck had been broken into and his work laptop stolen so he didn't have access to his records. The replacement window had in fact arrived on Saturday, the same day as the theft. Pablo said he just had to run back to the office to pick it up and would be by that same afternoon to install it. REPAIR PART 2: When Pablo arrived, I noticed the new window is tinted darker than the existing windows but I assume that's due to low-e standards that have been updated since the original window was manufactured decades ago. He got the new window in place, cleaned off any debris, glass bits, and soot from the sill, inside and out, removed the manufacturer's low-e sticker, wiped down the window, and put the screen back in place. Overall, Pablo was professional, prompt, efficient, did a great job, gave the best price and the shortest turnaround. Five stars. I highly recommend.

They were able to come out and measure quickly, and two-ish weeks later they were able to install the doors without an issue. For context, my building is a bit older so the floors were uneven and they did note that when installing. After we redid the interiors of our closet after replacing the doors, a piece had either fallen out or came loose during the interior installation - this was not Vixco's fault, and they were able to quickly come out and replace/repair everything as intended. However, months have now gone by, and our closet doors have started to become slightly crooked - again, my assumption is that this is not Vixco's fault (they did note that our floors were uneven), but nonetheless, I texted them asking to 1) set up time for a repair and 2) they responded confirming a date but not a time after multiple outreach attempts. My initial text to them was on September 9th, and it is now September 23rd - the last time I heard from them was on September 11th despite multiple attempts to contact them (Sept 11/13/16/18). While I'd vouch for them if you're looking for someone to do the job quickly, be wary if you need them to repair something as what started off strong has quickly soured.

I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine.
