    Cool PrAna!
    Roger M.

I strut my old stuff in PrAna because I like to be in their style and I like the way their clothing fits, hangs and wears. On the street and in the pubs in casual attire or at my local gym in sports "T" shirts, shorts and socks looking fit. For guys and gals there's a casual style that fits you too--a good selection of apparel in this service friendly store on 23rd (on a street with lots to comparative shops). Some stuff made in the USA, India, Mexico, China, etc. Choose your favorite country carefully!

Prana is a great clothing company! This is the only one in Oregon. It's a great brand for Yoga. It breaths well and comfortable. They have clothing for casual wear too. Great clothing for guys and women also. The people here are very nice and willing to help you look for what you want. They have free yoga classes as well!! This place is worth you buck$

We were not familiar with the brand, but with a big trip (at the time) coming up to a small island in Nicaragua and a large SALE sign out front, well, we had to go in. Right? Cotopaxi, I learned, focused on making durable travel and clothing gear as ethically and sustainable as possible. They also donate 1% of revenue to non-profits that help communities experiencing poverty. The store, while having a lot of items, did a nice job displaying their merchandise throughout the space. The bright and multi-color products are eye catching. The quality of the products are high end and I am in agreement with their statement; durable. The staff asked if we knew much about their product, which we did not, and they were more than happy to take the time to talk to us about who Cotopaxi is, their focus and answer and recommend products we were interested in or looking for. In addition of course we asked where the SALE items were. We were lead to the nice back porch and found backpacks, fanny packs, duffle bags and both men and woman's clothing racks. We decided to check out the large back packs and purchase two (2) for our trip. We very quickly discovered their products do not go on sale frequently, so we lucked out with a great discount on the day we decided to make our first visit. The bags were perfect for what we needed on our trip. I was pleasantly surprised with how much each bag actually held. They have great capacity! Additionally the areas are distributed with different zipped contained sections which allows for easy packing and organization. These bags traveled so well, especially considering we carried them onto 2 major airline flights, one small puddle jumper flight and then a low boat ride for 90 minutes through the mangroves of Nicaragua and then served us well on the small 12 acre island on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. Fast forward, 5 weeks later and as we walked through the Portland Saturday market we spotted a couple with the husband wearing the same Cotopaxi backpack. We stopped and chatted for a bit. They found the store yesterday and he purchased the bag. While pricy, he was already enjoying the product greatly and happy he purchased it. All in all, high priced product, but for the quality, organization and capacity I would absolutely buy the item again. Now that said, I also would prefer to wait for another sale!! SCORE.

This is a must stop shop! Whenever you're in the area, stop in and check out what's new. This place was quite busy during my visit, it's a June sunday, there was a line, but it moved quickly. The store itself is not big, but they have a great selection, especially right now for FIFA. The employees were friendly. A really cool feature is that you can customize jerseys in the store. Keep in mind that the prices are still expensive; this is not an outlet, so do not expect outlet prices. If you are visiting Portland and you're Adidas fan like me, I recommend stopping by.

After discovering the store overcharged us for 12 items due to a system pricing error, we rushed back before our flight to get it resolved. Instead of a quick correction for *their* mistake, we were met by staff who had absolutely no sense of how to handle the situation. They represent the store, yet they completely detached themselves from the problem and showed zero care or urgency to resolve it. The staff's handling of the situation was abysmal: -ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY: We were forced into a massive, 30+ person line. When we asked to use the empty employee lane because of our tight flight schedule, we were bluntly denied because we were "regular customers." -TERRIBLE ATTITUDE: Staff repeatedly told us there was nothing they could do and explicitly stated that if we missed our flight while waiting for them to fix their error, *"that would be our responsibility. -DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS: A simple refund took nearly an hour, causing immense stress and almost making us miss our flight. The staff here is rigid, dismissive, and entirely lacking in basic empathy or problem-solving skills. Absolutely unacceptable.

It's pretty rare that I get a pass -- usually it's through my 107ist membership -- so I end up going maybe once a year, if that. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking and the store itself is clean and well organized. The clothing selection is definitely trendy... maybe too trendy. It feels geared more toward teenagers and young adults. I've visited a few times now and honestly haven't found any apparel that interests me. A lot of it comes off as flashy. I was hoping to see more outfits tied to big events like the Winter Olympics or the World Cup, but while they did have a few jackets and pants, they were pretty boring overall. The real draw here is the shoes. About half the store is dedicated to footwear, and there are some really nice options. Most shoes are around 40% off, with the non-discounted pairs clearly marked. Prices on display shoes usually range from about $145-$220, so you can do the math to decide if it's worth it. Even with discounts, many pairs still start around $80 and go up from there. Clothing, on the other hand, still felt overpriced even after the employee store markdowns. I've been here three times now and still haven't bought a single thing. In comparison, I've purchased multiple items at other brand employee stores. That said, if you're already planning to buy Nike shoes, this can definitely be a solid deal. One standout positive: the employees have always been very friendly and helpful.
