We went for the fall festival on a Saturday on October 2024. It was super cute and they had a great amount of colorful pumpkins. However, to get into the fall festival it cost $26 per person (including kids over 2) which I felt was a little steep. I do know it costs less on weekdays. For the entrance fee, It only included a hay ride and the corn maze, all other activities (face painting, horseback riding, other rides cost additional money). I don't think I'd go back cause of the price. But it's a cute place. read more

The entrance fee is $10 per person on a weekday and they includes a one way corn and sunflower maze (the sunflowers are all very dead). There is a tractor that will take you from the top to the bottom for free but the "tractor ride" is extra. Face painting and pumpkin painting and feeding the animals is extra as well. It was just underwhelming for me. I do like that you can bring your dogs on leashes. That was nice. I probably wouldn't come back here. read more

$10 entrance fee on weekdays, $18 on weekends. Some things require extra cost with tickets, starting at 3 tickets ($2 a piece). It's a little expensive but has a beautiful corn maze (which was more of a labyrinth), different animals, and lots of pumpkins and variety. Note that they're now in Santa Paula now (not off Johnson); I would like them to update this on their Yelp and Google map. Huge warning for parents in the Ventura County area!!! We r currently at Prancers Village in Oxnard. This place is absolutely money hungry and gives very very little value. It costs 3 bucks a person to get in... so u r already over 10 bucks as u enter. After going in every possible activity costs and is highly overpriced. They know u r screwed. U wanna see your kids face crumple as u leave before going in due to the pricing ??? U r stuck. My daughter did a pony ride for 7 dollars (seven friggin dollars!). They took her around the loop one single time. The whole experience took under two minutes! The boy had to go into the bouncy house which costs eight bucks for one kid (eight bucks!!!). The worst tho is the petting zoo. The petting zoo costs five bucks a kid, but a parent has to pay for themselves to let the kid run around! I have never had to pay a parent fee to get my two year old to pet a friggin goat! We came here because we once before came a few years ago. What was free back then even costs now! They have a cool hay pyramid which was free for the kids to play on. This year it costs five dollars a kid! Do not go here unless u hate your money and love giving your money to manipulative companies that make money off your childrens emotions! read more

This is severely overpriced. With an admission price of $3, you get the free hay ride, but everything else will cost more. You can enter and see what you want to do before buying the tickets, but the tickets are non-refundable and only for attractions and not pumpkins. Attached is an image of the prices as of Oct 19th. I believe a price increase was introduced since the beginning of Oct. While more attractions were added (since a picture I've seen in 2016), the prices are pretty high. Easily, you can stay for a few hours - especially if you have children wanting to do the jolly jumpers. However, the jolly jumpers are a bit dilapidated. While it's unlimited jumping, it's a bit over used and I didn't think it was worth the price. But hey, if you have family fun, I guess it's worth it. Other attractions such as the petting zoo and hay pyramids are interesting and worth a visit. There is also a mechanical bull, which is 5 tickets (1 ticket = 1 dollar) for a try. A pony ride and even a mining co - fossils/gemstone/mineral mining. Not sure about the mining, but I thought that was overly overpriced for getting a 'rock' collection kind of deal. But the main point is for the pumpkins. To which, I think it's a slight let down. Prancer's Village has heavily emphasized itself with attractions instead of being a pumpkin village. There are at most 3 good areas where the pumpkins are the most prominent and great for photo opportunities, but aside from those, it's basically attractions. I was personally looking forward to seeing a large area filled with LOTS of pumpkins and this place doesn't fulfill that desire. However, if you are interested in the attractions, this would be a place to visit, but be prepared to pay for everything. Perhaps they should consider a flat rate wristband. I'm sure some parents would gladly do that instead of a ticketing system and might attract more customers that way. Worth a visit and if you don't mind the prices, go for it. Otherwise, pay $3 for a cheap date and just do all the photo opportunity spots and leave. Cheapest way for this pumpkin patch in my opinion. read more

We went the first weekend they were open so there should be no reason the bounce houses should be so dirty, one looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Ugh, this place, what can I say. $3 to get in EACH. $8 PER CHILD to use the bouncy houses, yes, it is unlimited play, but we weren't allowed to leave to go pick out a pumpkin or do anything else on their property and come back to play. You can sit on a tiny bench or two chairs they provided for you. How nice, everyone else had to stand and watch their kids get their $8 worth. They charge for EVERYTHING. $3 to ride a tricycle around some hay. If you have kids that want to ride everything I'd skip this place. I spent $28 in 30 minutes, that was just to get in and 2 kids in the jumpy houses. no thanks. I bet they'll charge to even go look at the ponies. It would be better if they didn't have a charge to get in or even use the admission price towards a pumpkin purchase. Won't be back and will be spending our hard earned money elsewhere. read more

What an amazing adventure! We purchased tickets for the "Pumpkin Liner" train in Fillmore and got $5 tickets for Prancers. My kids got to ride ponies ($8), see farm animals, enjoy a hay ride, ride in a small barrel train (WAAAAAY FUN) and even pick pumpkins!!! Well worth the price and my kids had a BLAST! This is the absolute BEST pumpkin patch in town! I visit several times per year as they're set up for over a month & then go right into the Christmas Tree lot! The petting zoo and horses are what I truly go for - feels like being right on the farm. Admission is only $3 and with that, you can go on the hay ride! All fun games take tickets which are $1 a piece and well worth it. They even currently have a gem sifting station which has a really cool set up. One of the owning family's young girls brought up a baby pig to show me & I could not get enough! Really awesome local business to support in our fall and winter months. read more

The issue I here was the Petting Zoo. I've been to several that would allow an adult to accompany a child for free. So my 22 month year old was crying and I was forced to pay to watch him pet the animals. When the zipline and bounce house let me in no additional charge to supervisor and help my child enjoy the activities. A goat nippy or head butting I would assume that's a red flag. Having a parent with their child protects them and you. Concern updating instructions to your employees for child under 5.The elderly man was a bit rude. read more

I went a WEEK before Halloween to get pumpkins. Everything there is "pay to do". You have to pay to do the petting zoo, you have to PAY EXTRA to feed them, it's a $4 a person, and an additional $2 to feed them. Plus, bull riding, Jolley jumpers and pony rides cost more. It's not that big and the pumpkins suck! I did my normal bleach with vinegar process to keep it from rotting which has always worked for me, and three days later it rotted. We paid $25 for one pumpkin, which at McGrath pumpkin patch would be $15-$18 and $5 for a tiny pumpkin. Oh there was a "animal keeper" in the petting zoo that was making the animals upset, stupid kid made it where nobody could touch the animals without getting bit. WILL NOT BE RETURNING read more

Today was my first time at this pumpkin patch and I will definitely be back! The entrance fee is only $3 and it includes a hay ride (better than a $6 fee at limonera ranch). Everyone working was super nice and friendly. It would be easy to spend a lot of money here as there are so many fun attractions but it's totally worth it. They also have plants for sale at a great price so my husband and I came home with a new rosemary bush. They owners were so kind and helpful! We will definitely be back! read more

Absolutely the best place ever! We are visiting California from West Palm Beach, Florida and passed this cute pumpkin patch/petting zoo while enroute to Long Beach. The staff was so nice and welcoming! Felt like we were right at home. Very family friendly, tons of activities for all ages! My 2 year old enjoyed the "Cow Train" the best. This will be my third year coming and they keep adding more and improving on their set up which is nice. The workers really have an impact on my daughter who is only four and she's not scared to hold or catch a chicken, she loves the pony rides, they taught her a little how to catch cattle, she loves feeding all of the animals. This place is okay, a little pricey and once you are in you know how that goes with small children. I liked the wide variety of animals they had but I did feel bad seeing two of the animals had runny goo coming out of thair nose. The old farmer man could be a little more friendly instead of giving everyone the side eye. It has a few things to keep you and your little ones busy some bounce houses face painting a zip line also a mechanical bull. With a family of 5, we were hesitant to visit based on the exaggerated reviews. After going to this pumpkin patch this season, they have found dedicated customers in us! You can tell this is a family runned business and the atmosphere is the same. Warm, friendly employees eager to help my kids through the petting zoo and the pony rides. Bounce house area was so large and had so many different options that the kids stayed for over an hour. Snack station was full of goodies and the live music made it all worth it. Alright , even though I read the yelp reviews and it said it was pricey ... the whole set up is worth it. What pumpkin patch have you been to that has zip lining? Ofcourse not adult zip lining , but kid zip lining. C'mon. No I don't think the jumpers should be $8 dollars but they do have some pretty interesting jumpers. Side note You should clean your jumpers. No you can't help when kids come off and back on the jumpers with dirt from the ground but the walls and actual jumper should be wiped down. My family LOVED the variety of animals in the petting section. Altogether if you're coming here and have multiple kids ... take your pictures , let them pet the animals ... and then pay the money to let them Jump and run their energy out. we will be coming where again. Next time with more cash on hand than we did Lolol. read more

This was my first time visiting this Pumpkin Patch and was excited because it seemed they had a lot of fun activities for kids. The parking was a little tricky several signs were miss leading saying to keep right but we would encounter a dead end. The entrance fee is $3 per person , they have jolly jumpers, a petting zoo, bull riding, horse riding (and they even have a mini horse), vendors and a stage of music performers. For each activity you needed to purchase additional tickets , which cost $1 a ticket( some activities needed up to 10 tickets).I do not feel this is reasonable if you are paying for the entrance itself. They do have several picture set ups around the patch which is very nice. The pumpkins are slightly expensive and we only purchased the small sizes. Fun place to stop by and walk around & enjoy the free vender displays and music however I wish the activities were not priced as listed , with an entrance fee added. read more
