The pricing is unbeatable, and I've used them twice now. Once moving my parents from their house to a retirement community and then again to move their stuff into storage when they finally had to move into an assisted living facility. Throughout both moves not a single thing was broken, came up missing or was otherwise mishandled. Then to top it all off after they did such an excellent job I wrote them a check which frickin bounced! I haven't bounced a check in twenty years, but I wrote this from an old bank account which was closed without realizing I grabbed the wrong check book. No matter, Joe was very understanding and we met up and took care of it. I expected him to be super unhappy about it but he just shrugged and said these things happen. He's just a super nice guy, a great mover, and overall a godsend when you need to make a smooth transition into a new place.

All seemed good at first but after their lunch break, which involved a swim in our pool, things went downhill. 100% we could tell they're working on the clock. Everything slowed down to a crawl for example 3 guys watching one dismantle a bed. Very soon it became apparent they were running out of room in the truck. We began to notice no wrapping of the furniture and shoving things in as best they could. Flash forward to the unloading process- Lots of damage unfortunately and we are in the process of filling out claims forms. That was up until move out day. Two young men showed up. They had me sign a bunch of paperwork on a tablet they wanted me to sign before they got started. As I was using the tablet they started reviewing everything I had packed they informed me they weren't allowed to transport liquids or perishable Items as soon as they saw I had a couple cases of water and some food near the front door. At first I was a little bugged because I was hoping to get that moved as well but then I figured at least they'll help me with the other stuff. One of my specific requests that I made when I was booking was for them to help me toss an old mattress in the dumpster. The staff I spoke with on the phone said it wouldn't be an issue. The two men moved everything out and at the end when I mentioned the bed they told me they didn't feel comfortable moving it because of the condition of it. I also had an old tv stand that was a little wobbly but stable very sturdy that they also refused to load on the truck. The funny thing is later when I went back for it, it didn't fall apart as they claimed it would if they had they moved it. Must've not have been that bad of shape if I was able to do it. Very disappointing! I had a recliner couch that they were unable to remove the center back due to the bolting. At first they were mentioning that they may not be able to move it either which really upset me. After I mentioned I needed it moved they eventually were able to get it out of the apartment by tilting and lifting it. When we arrived at the new place I noticed one of the males was smoking a vape outside during the job which was very unprofessional. I mean if he'd waited to after the job was done I wouldn't have made a big deal about it but while in the middle of the job, it didn't sit well with me. They got the bulk of my stuff moved which I am grateful for but I am very disappointed by their attitude and the excuses they had for the bed the items they didn't feel comfortable moving. Considering what they charged for the job I expected a way better experience. I will take my business elsewhere next time I need to move.

I've moved 5+ times in the last 6 years. I know to label boxes on multiple sides, wrap furniture,…read moreand have been praised with multiple moves how organized I am. JP Moving has great reviews so when researching from out of state, seemed to be a good fit. However, they spent 45 mins moving 35+ boxes/bins, a grill, 2 bikes and literally a couple small misc. items... NO FURNITURE... from a UhAul to a storage unit... (very close proximity indoors on ground level) the LEAST they could do is make sure labels were visible. They were paid $490 for 2.5 hours minimum charge (pre-tip) for 45 mins of work... next time take the extra hour and 15 (that were paid for) and consider someone may need to something from storage.... LABELS OUT!!! I'm not asking for anything extra.. it would have taken an extra minute per box... so 20-30 mins?!?! I paid for it with my 2.5 hr minimum charge... I spent 2 hours moving things around today... super frustrating...
