I didn't receive any preservative with the fresh flower arrangement that was delivered for Mother's Day this year 2026. I called the store but there was no answer and a different phone number was given and the response was "mail box is full". I checked online for store hours and phone number. The same phone I called the first time was listed online. I called again and finally someone answered but there was an echo and I couldn't hear the person clearly. I asked them to call back after I repeated my concern several times asking that the delivery driver be notified and return with the necessary preservative. The person responded but again I couldn't hear because of the echo. I requested that the business person call me back thinking that might resolve the echo issue; instead the person hung up and never called me back. They got their money already so why bother with customer requests. In addition many of the flower were not fresh at all. What a waste. read more

If I could I'd give a negative star rating! This is the absolute WORST, PITIFUL EXCUSE for a florist I've ever experienced over the course of my seventy-three years! My late wife died on the 17th of May. A friend of hers now living in Alabama arranged for a quite pretty bouquet to be delivered to her. They were delivered on the 11th of May. At that point my beloved was still awake, alert and able to see and appreciate that someone cared enough to send flowers to brighten her day. She also still, despite horrendous pain could speak and would have told me to call her friend to say thank you. This sorry excuse of a florist delivered them to our house and left them on the porch despite the flower killing heat. This was despite the fact that the sender had provided my contact telephone number! On the 13th of May my beloved was transferred from the ICU to a Hospice room within the hospital's Oncology ward. That pretty bouquet was dead by then. I only discovered the flowers today, the 20th of May. I called this pitiful, sorry excuse of a florist and asked why they had not called despite having a contact telephone number. The woman who answered the call said they only call the contact number if they they think they had given an incorrect delivery address! What the hell? Why do they think an out of state sender would provide a contact number? Do these sorry people think an appointment should be made for someone to leave the hospital and take delivery? It was patently obvious no one was home! They should have called the provided contact telephone number. They are pitiful! I had to deal with a funeral home issue after I discovered a nine day dead bouquet and I told them to utilize ANY florist other than Precious Flowers and Gifts.for their floral needs. If the bereaved are arranging for any floral needs I told the funeral director to recommend ANYBODY other than Precious (Dead) Flowers and Gifts. Again, this florist is PITIFUL! She said no without an explanation and just left. Neon sign on the window that said "OPEN" was lit up. My mother sent me a bouquet for Mothers Day. They arrived 2 days late ( Tuesday ). The vase had a big hole on the bottom, so no water. I tried calling and the Vmail was full so I could not leave a message. Sent them an email. They called me back and left me a vmail. Saying to just cut the bottom and revase them and if i wanted I could go in a pick out another bouquet. I called and vmail was still full. I sent another email stating that I would like another bouquet delivered as it was suppose to be delivered. They email me back and said they would deliver on Monday 05/18. I still have not received anything. I sent an email saying that I do not want the bouquet any longer and to refund my mothers credit card. I am so deeply disappointed in the quality of a recent order. We ordered 5 of the exact same arrangements to go to 5 people, all in different cities. This floral shop received the order for a Turlock delivery. The other 4 arrangements were beautiful and exactly as ordered. The one from Precious was nothing like what was ordered. It was skimpy and looked like something from a grocery store. I hesitate to write a negative review during covid, given the toll the shutdowns have taken on small businesses. However, I called and gave them the opportunity to at least apologize that we are disappointed in the quality. After being told the owner would call back, the same day.... we are still waiting after 4 days. They should be ashamed for taking our money and sending out such low quality flowers. I order my girlfriend some flowers, candy and a teddy bear which total out to be $99.92 a day before Valentine's Day February 13th and she didn't receive them till the day after Valentine's Day February 15th. so i made a contract with this place for my wedding, i went in months later and told maria(the owner's wife) that i changed my mind about the flowers and wanted to change up my order(mostly the colors and style of arrangements). she told me "no problem brides always change their minds" so great, a week later i call her to go discuss my wedding flowers, finalize things and make final changes to the contract. i walk in and ask maria if i can take out centerpieces from my contract because i'm going to get them elsewhere, she tells me "yes that's fine and honestly i was gonna tell you to go somewhere because your very difficult to deal with and stressing me out." i then responded "i'm stressing you out?" she says"yes you're the most difficult bride i've had"(i have spoke with her a total of 2 times in a year span!!!!!???? so idk where she's getting this from hahaha!!! maybe she was having a bad day.... that's what it seemed like. so i told her "okayyyy you told me brides always change their minds" and she said "well you honestly just stress me out and i don't know" i told her "first of all, i'm your customer and you don't tell someone that. that's very unprofessional. i'm sure your husband the owner of this business wouldn't appreciate that" she said "well it's cus you want a specific style and flowers and it's just stressing me out" i said "yes i want specific everything cus it's MY wedding, but that's fine can i just get my whole deposit back then and not go through you? cus i don't want to now, plus i found someone else who did exactly what i wanted and cheaper." she said "yeah that's fine, good for you " gave me my money back and as she's handing me the cash she says "it's cus you just stress me out....." she just kept repeating herself!! poor lady that does not know how to handle more than one thing at a time , this all comes with the business.... she handled this whole situation very unprofessional. it's sad that she has no customer service skills what so ever. but anyways , i told her she lost all our business forever(in which we have purchased big arrangements from here and several times), we will never purchase from here again, and all the people i have referred here will not be coming either..... it's a man who owns this place and his wife does the arrangements. she is far from professional and i was in shock when she told me all this. it felt like a high school confrontation, it was a joke. i don't recommend this place to anyone anymore !!!!! and to top it off i just ended up walking away after i got my money because she just kept going on and on about how i stress her out..... as i have my back turned and walking away she's still back there talking about stress and blah blah blah. i didn't turn around and keep going back and forth with her because i didn't want to stoop down to her level of immaturity and unprofessionalism. never have i experienced this before, wish i could let owner know so they can address the situation. but it's her husband, so we all know that wouldn't do either of us any good. 0 out of 5 stars. they have 5 stars because they only have 2 reviews from 1 and 2 years ago. a lot has changed i must say!!! read more

I was so happy with the service at precious flowers and gifts. I walked in totally frazzled needing a last minute bouquet of flowers for my wedding. I showed them some random photos of wild flowers and they insured me that they could make my bouquet in time & for a very good price!! I was so happy. Two days later I picked up my beautiful wildflower bouquet & I was so pleased at how well it was put together & how fresh the flowers were. We placed an order for my uncles funeral. The order was very specific and we clarified it a few times, we wanted light blue ROSES in the shape of a heart, we showed a sample they had in their catalog and made a few changes with the colors, but nothing confusing at all. We were very specific to ensure they were ROSES, but we ended up with carnations!!!! We also were very specific that we wanted his picture in the middle, but behind the picture filled with roses, and we showed her - picture on our phone. We ended up with the 8x10 picture with all sorts of spaces all around the picture with just a heart shaped border of CARNATIONS type arrangement. Horrible! And they charged us $240! I would not recommend this shop to anyone!! Since they don't know the difference between carnations and roses! They definitely tried to trick us is what it seems like, give us a cheap flower for the amount we paid, it was for a funeral that's sad that they would do someone dirty like that!
