Customer beware. Nice guy, knows his stuff but sold me on a battery he claimed is generally expensive at 400 dollars. That same battery was located at Autozone for a little over 200 dollars and the battery died out less than a year. He's lousy when it comes to returning your calls. Again? Nice guy but if you do get a quote from him, pls shop around some more. I didn't want to leave this review but, finding a reputable mechanic already is tough and when you find out you got ripped off, it's best to warn others so you don't fall prey to Shahe charm :/ read more

Stopped by here while working and met Shahe. I was out introducing myself as the area field manager for UHaul East LA, and decided to seek some professional advice regarding my personal pick up truck and the ABS system. While I had a pretty good idea whats going on with my truck, I figured this random visit was worth learning more... Shahe was extremely friendly, very courteous, and professional with his response. He knows his stuff, knew exactly what it would take to diagnosis the issue, and gave a few scenarios that would repair it. His attitude had me sold immediately. Other mechanics can be vague and leave the possibilities endless even though the problems customers have are pretty clear. Shahe was upfront and honest, and was a pleasure to speak with. Service was bad had oil changed and told I needed to have other work done and I took it another place and they said I didn't need it. The radiator light came on he said it was sensor and Wanted to charge 2 hundred to change sensor but only needed a little more fluidDidn't want to add no stars but had to, to post this!! read more

UPDATE!!!: now upon doing the oil change myself! I also found the oil filter to be poorly tightened! A child could remove it.. NOT ONLY THAT!!!!! But they over tighten my oil pan bolt! A shop full of monkeys could do better! Never go here unless you want stripped pan bolts and loose oil filters... run a shop right if your going to run one at all! You guys are lucky I'm not there demanding my money back! I would not even take a free oil change from you guys! I don't even want to think of your shops repair skills if a basic oil change was this challenging. BEFORE UPDATE: I am very upset... I was assured the oil level was topped off correctly and it was NOT!!! This is the first time I've EVER, taken my car in for an oil change out of fear of trusting someone else! I drive 1500 miles thinking the oil level was ok! The oil was barley reading on the dip stick!! If I got mechanical issues due to this I will definitely seek reimbursement! My car lasted this long for a reason! Proper basic maintenance....... from now on I will stick to doing my own oil changes. I do not recommend the shop to anyone!! I stopped there because it was not busy... now I know why... That alone should've told me to stay away... I ended up spending as much as I would doing it myself! And I gave them a tip. THANK YOU YELP! About a month ago I went to take my car to get a much needed oil change. I went to the place I normally go to but as usual, they were super packed. Since my car REALLY needed the oil change I went driving to see if I found another shop where i can have it done, but I didn't knw where to go so I yelped one near me. I found this place which was .5 miles from me from where I was. I called and asked if he had time for an oil change and he said "Sure! Come on down I'm finishing up a car now so I'll be ready for u in abt 10 min" Got there and owner was super nice yet professional. The price was really good! Cheaper than where I use to go and it was SUPER quick. About 2 weeks after this visit I heard a noise in my car and yes! You guessed it! I came back here! So far so good in pricing and telling you if you don't need to have something done yet. LOCATION: The location is perfect! As a woman who doesn't know a lot about cars I have tons of trust issues with mechanics. I've been to almost all the local mechanics that I found on yelp and didn't seem to like any of them until I found this place and met Shahe. He is very honest, trustworthy, and takes his time to explain the issues that you may have with your vehicle. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I have car troubles. The shop is conveniently located at the corner of Hemlock street (Main Street is Peck road) for easy access! Never again...... I would always take my baby here, routine oil changes and the occasional fixer upper when it comes to. Than, I realized a few things that piss me off. When the old mechanic was working (asian dude) I asked if he can top my tires off, just to be safe. He says yeah yeah yeah like all know it all mechanics, does exactly that, but over fills my tires by at LEAST 10 PSI... I'm sorry I was under the impression you needed to leave room for the air to expand when your driving on a hot road. Okay.... Next I would hop in and drive off to notice hand prints and smear marks all over my car..... And I have a champagne colored paint job. Right on. Fast forward to the new mechanic! He likes to turn your A.C. on FULL blast for his own comfort while he drives your car from around the garage to the pick up area. Dude Wtf??? That's the most fucking un professional thing someone has ever done!!!! Might as well adjust the seat and crank my radio up too! And just like the other one, but worse, leaves finger prints, smudges and smears and even greases up your steering wheel with 5w-30 for you, what a nice guy...... I used to pay 15 flat because they have a giant banner which advertises the special for "14.99" but the owner just rounds it to 20, because what's 5 dollars of your own money, right? And he tells you like your stupid, oh yeah it's the usual, 20 bucks.. I remember a particular instance I needed new tires. The owner SWORE he was losing money at the price he was getting them, and oh all this b.s. to sweeten the deal up. The few tires changed, were cheap as can be and was more than obvious when Google didn't even know what it was I was searching. I came back months later, to get a rotation and balance for 50 bucks, which was a rip off because, as of today I learned, you don't need to balance your tires, when you buy them they already are... So that's 25 already scammed from me, and the half ass rotation which resulted in me almost dying, was also 25 which you can get cheaper, at PEREZ TIRES on PECK across from King Taco. You need ANYTHING rubber, you talk to Hector. He is an honest person who laughed at the story I told him about this place. read more

I stopped by because I seen a AC service banner and noticed my AC was not cooling like used to! Best decision I made, the gentleman got straight to the point and checked out my car, my car is not a very common car so I thought I'd take a chance to see what he advised I do, he told me exactly what I needed and let me know the price, his price was fair and I agreed to leave my car, he promised to have car ready same day despite having other cars he was working on, he called me a couple hrs later and it was ready! Went in for A/C service. Owner charged extra for leak detection. He and repair person had to call friends for advice on how to handle older vehicle. Car issue was supposedly addressed but exhibited A/C leaks weeks later. Easy maintenance issues, like oil change, can be accommodated here but moderate to serious repair issues should be resolved at professional shops. read more

Not sure why he felt so threatened by me that he felt like he could charge me full price for only half a job needed done. Half of the job didn't need to be done and it was exactly half the labor. Yet he wanted to charge for the full labor cost. Just because he doesn't run a scam on everyone doesn't mean he won't have the potential to try to make money off you. Drove in with a nice luxury car so that could be a reason too. Maybe you'd have better luck in a Honda but I'm not stupid and buddy you tried to rip off the WRONG person. Shop around. He's not the only place. Lost my business and making sure he loses other business because he's untrustworthy. Might have been near the end of the month and he had bills. No way to run a business. Horrible poor customer service and made me wait too just to make me sweat like I didn't matter. Clearly sir, you don't matter to me at all if you act like that. read more

I went in during the time most people work since I study for the med school entrance exam most of the day. It was around 240pm and I got in and out in about 30 mins max. I met Shahe who got the keys from me and took my car for an old change. The price was very reasonable; cheap actually for me. I really liked the interpersonal skills of Shahe with me and I think he took care of my car so I'll definitely go back again especially when my car needs a repair. I would not go to this auto repair shop. I recently had the engine light pop up. I took my vehicle to have it repaired there. I was told to repair the vehicle it was going to be like $220.00. I agreed for the work to be done. But not 1 hour after my vehicle left the repair shop the light came back on. I took the vehicle back and they kept asking for me to pay for more and more for repairs and on top of that it seemed like they did not know what was wrong with the vehicle. It seemed like they were just guessing and they suggested that it may need an engine rebuild. I decided to take it to another repair shop for a second opinion. In that new shop, they were able to find out what the problem was with my car and they repaired it as new and was told that what Precise Automotive did was not necessary. That they got it completely wrong. I lost $220 by going to this shop. Don't be the next victim. never go to this shop. read more

I was looking for a local shop for some standard maintenance for my car. I did some research and this place received multiple good reviews. I took my car in for an oil change and they were very friendly and easy to accommodate me as a walk in. The cool part is that as they were doing the work they really took to time to look over my car and actually show me what things to be aware of (such as my brakes which will need to be changed soon, showed me the ware on my all of my tires, and checked to see if I had any visible leaks). I had my car towed to precise auto after it was over heating since they are located near my house. i had never used them, not sure quite why. Had a wonderful experience from start to finish, even got my car back the same day! The owner took his time to really make me understand what the problem was, that alone made me very comfortable. I even called my regular mechanic to make sure I was getting "a deal" like the owner had mentioned and yes I was. Saved myself $60 and gained myself a new auto repair shop. read more

Came here yesterday to get my oil changed, once it was finish I drove around and found out that the oil was leaking probably for 20-30 minutes. Called the guy who I think is the owner told me to bring it back. The oil was leaking so much that my the car started cranking because of how dry it was inside from all the oil leaking out. The owner gave me all the excuses in the book with his "15 yrs" of experience b.s. (however they can't do a simple oil check there). I took it to my dad who is a mechanic that has 40 yrs experience, since I didn't trust that they did the job right. He said that they didn't even fill it up to the two point mark and that they clearly jip you in how much oil they put. The guy tightened the cap so hard that we had the hardest time taking it off, we had to saw off the cap from the tool because it got stuck to it. MORAL OF THE STORY DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to waist half a day dealing with this crap read more

I took my Audi in to have it check out for coolant leaks. The owner treated me with up most respect and told me he would check it out and gave me an estimated quote that was reasonable. Not only did they do that but also let me know anything else that was wrong and down the line would need service. They fixed the problem for me and ended up doing a maintenance service as well. As a consumer I wanna know what problems I will encounter down the line be it could be days or months. They took care of my car as it was their own. read more

The guy that runs this place is a friendly guy, but the overall service experience is mediocre. Takes a long time even when I was the first one there. The guy just kept talking to the next person about his life and something totally unrelated to car repairs. I don't mind him having a conversation with a patron, but not another patron is waiting on him to finish the job. Also there was a banner for a $14.99 oil change which he didn't honor. It was just for a normal Japanese sedan so nothing exotic to warrant a higher oil change cost. On top of that, the oil change light went on before hitting the 3k so I am wondering about the quality and amount of oil used for my car. So I would not recommend this place. read more

I came in for a last minute oil change and this shop ended up being an all in one-one stop shop. I was very pleased with the service and prices provided to me. The owner was extremely honust, informative and approachable. Very friendly. Wasn't over sold nor undersold. He was very proffesional and brought to my attention a few things that he just recommended I take care of soon to avoid future issues. I'm such the procrastinator. I'm glad he brought it up being the pro that he is. I ended up killing 2 birds with one stone. I was very grateful that he was able to get rid of the loud noise rumbling from under my hood by just changing out 2 belts ...that I keep putting off doing. Gonna send my daughter here next for a few repairs on her car too. I'll definitely be back soon as well to have him replace my cracked windsheild glass as well as a tire rotation/alignment which is also long over due. If your looking for a good, dedicated, auto repair shop that's not going take advantage of you this is your Guy/spot... plus oil changes start at $15.00 which is great!
