We were seen right on time and were in and out in about 1.5 hours. Natasha did a fantastic job with the blow out, trim and flat iron and was really friendly. The salon interior is nice and super clean and all the staff we came into contact with couldn't have been nicer.

Most AWFUL experience of my life!! Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere!…read more My mother in law purchased 2 gift certificates - 1 for a facial and the other for a "cut and color with tracy". I was given the facial certificate for my birthday. When i called to schedule my appointment, i was told they no longer had an aesthetician on staff but could apply the $100 towards any salon service. I agreed and scheduled a cut and color. When i arrived to my appointment, I was told by the owner that she could not honor the gift certificate since the aesthetician no longer worked there. My confusion was due to the fact that her business had collected the money, not the aesthetician. After going back and forth the owner agrees to cover half of the certificate's worth. I had an event to go to right after and had not washed or styled my hair so I had no choice but to get a wash and blow dry. The entire time I sat in that chair the owner was condescending, talking about me and the incident as if i was not there. After finishing I went to the receptionist to leave a tip for my stylist and was told they could not put any tips on cards? So do all of their customers pay cash? The owner approached me with an attitude, I said that i didnt think her stylist would have to suffer because of her bad management style so I would run to the bank to get cash. As i walked away she told me not to come back. This was by far the most awful salon experience of my life. Do not waste your time, this salon does mediocre work and does not deserve your time or money!!!!!!! As far as my sister in laws certificate, when she called to schedule, she explained her certificate and was told that stylist no longer worked there. She asked if anyone else could do it, they also gave her the run around, told her they could not. She called back and was able to speak to someone else, who said it would have to be the owner and their service fees started at 200. To me, this sounds like a way to take advantage of people, steal their money and not deliver on services promised.

I really don't know where to start…read more I am new to the Atlanta area. My appointment was for a strawberry blonde coloring and sew in extensions which I called about beforehand to ask if they would be able to do as I know both require specific expertise. I was told that they could absolutely do that. I asked if there was a number I could send pictures of the hair color as well as what my extensions looked like to and they said they wouldn't need that. My hair is very fine for context. Any (trained) stylist would be able to tell from touching it and probably even just looking at it. The stylist (Naj) stripped my extensions from either the box cutter or the craft store thread that she used on my hair. The thread was very thick and I could hear it grinding against either my hair or the extensions. At one point, she cut my extensions into pieces and cut the ends off of the pieces "so they wouldn't stick out". I have been getting sew ins for around two years from a variety of stylists and have NEVER had anyone cut them on the seam. I lost around $1500 worth of extensions from the visit. The extensions have since unraveled and the hair is falling out in chunks. When she was installing the extensions, she FOLDED them and due to the insane amount of hair she put in one spot, I could feel the extensions sliding out of my hair (again my hair is very fine) and I am fairly certain that is why they fell out. Layering is normal with extensions and I have had that done before but the folding damaged the extensions. There were no extensions anywhere near the top or front of my head. I have never seen extensions applied this way and it made styling my hair difficult to say the least. Again, I didn't know any of this was a problem until it was too late BC I AM NOT A HAIR STYLIST. She used white blonde beads and white thread on my brown roots. I was at the salon for 7-8 ish hours and left with my hair wet and not styled as I did not have time to stay for longer (it was dark outside). Around hour five of the appointment I still had my head in the sink and she had still not finished coloring my hair. She also left bleed marks in my hair and left the bleach in my hair for over an hour. I now have breakage all over my head and my length is uneven and inconsistent with the volume. I left the salon with brown hair that was essentially my natural hair color. She had bleached my entire head including my ends which is apparently very bad for my kind of hair. Again, I have no idea what is or is not good for my hair when it comes to dying... thats why I pay someone else to dye it. Two weeks out from extensions being "put in" and they were falling out. Like I'm talking halfway hanging from my head. When I went back to get them fixed they said they were booked and only had time to bobby pin them to my head. This obviously only lasted a few days and they eventually fell out completely. They are now in a plastic bag. This left me with two small wefts of extensions on either side of my head leaving me with the only option being to put my hair in a bun until I could find a new stylist. When the owner texted me to follow up about the horrific experience I had she informed me that Naj has been doing extensions for eight years.... right. She also tried to use the owners health issues as the excuse for Naj destroying my hair.... pretty disgusting. My new stylist spent an hour trying to get the extensions out of my head because the hair was knotted around the weft from the method she used to install them. It seemed to me that this might have been her first encounter with extensions. I recognize that it is difficult to find someone that does the same method of extension application as my original stylist. I called many salons who said that they were not able to do that method so when I called this one and was told that they did, I assumed that meant that they could do this method. It is infuriating to find that not to be the case and have eight hours of your time wasted. One star is too many because I am in the negative both with the cost of extensions and with the cost of having to attempt to repair my hair. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR HAIR.

I like to brighten it up with highlights and Laci has the magic touch. I literally only have to get my hair done 2-3 times per year and it keeps looking good. She has also taught me how to take good care of my hair so it is stronger and healthier than ever. I am surprised when I find negative reviews about this place considering how much attention to detail they give to each client. I guess some folks are never satisfied! Or don't like to be told no

I decided to book a partial highlight service after a previous consultation I had with a stylist…read morethere. Initially, I thought everything was going well, but I noticed she was teasing the highlighted sections of my hair. She also told me she needed to overlap some areas on the ends of my hair, meaning she would be putting bleach over previously lightened hair. While I know that can sometimes be a technique, I also know it can increase the risk of breakage. I naturally have very knot-prone hair, so when it was time to rinse, my hair was an extremely tangled mess. She proceeded to brush through my hair to detangle it, but it felt more like my hair was being ripped through than gently combed. Halfway through, she decided it would be better if I sat in a chair instead. She then spent roughly 20 minutes brushing my already compromised, wet hair. After that, she applied a root smudge followed by a glaze, and once again my hair became completely tangled. The teasing was the source of the issue, and I was never asked if I was comfortable with that technique. As she continued brushing through the knots, I saw an alarming amount of my hair falling into my lap and onto the floor. She then blow-dried my hair, but the dryer was held so close that the heat felt excessive. She also cut my hair using thinning shears without asking me first. I came in with very thick hair and left feeling like I had lost nearly half of its density. I did like the tone of my color--or at least what was left of my hair--but in my opinion, it wasn't worth it. Trying to stay optimistic, I convinced myself everything was fine and scheduled a second appointment because I had an event coming up. I wish I hadn't. When I arrived, I waited nearly 20 minutes while she finished with clients before me. There was no acknowledgment that she was running behind or even a simple apology. At the start of the appointment, I politely told her that I didn't want my hair teased this time. I could tell she was offended. For the next two hours, she barely spoke to me except to tell me where to sit. Unlike my first appointment, she didn't ask if I wanted my hair styled, barely blow-dried it, and didn't take any photos. Considering the salon is very active on social media and almost every stylist posts photos of their clients, the difference in how I was treated felt hurtful. Overall, I left feeling disappointed--not only with the condition of my hair, but with the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the experience.
