Wow where do I start? I met Chris back in 2009 ish, it could be earlier. One day I was at the Richmond auto mall having my car serviced and noticed a guy working on a dent in a lot near by. I asked if he can work on my car. He's done my Honda Civic Sir and Accord v6 coupe. Since then I've owned a few more cars and I've been lucky I haven't received any dings. Until now. Fast forward to 2025. I own a 2019 black Rav4 Trail now. All my previous cars were black as well. If anyone is an owner of a black car, they know very well that you can see a lot of imperfections easily and your contact washes have to be very delicate. I am the kinda ocd car guy growing up. Yes, that kinda guy who would wash his car in the rain if a bird landed multiple bombs on the paint. I've kept Chris's number and this man has been consistently busy. He booked me a week in advance after I sent him the photos of the damage. Some international student on an electric scooter was riding careless and nicked/dent my parked car ‍. Chris is a real friendly guy. He's straight up and honest. His quotes are very reasonable. Obviously the prices are not like before. It's been almost 20 years. But what I can say is I rather support a local business than a corporate entity at this point. I didn't want a record of claim on the vehicle. The option of dent repair makes more sense. I basically dropped off my car by 11am and got a call back by 1:50pm. There's no way you can get your car back on the same day with icbc. On the same day before date night, on a Friday afternoon. I was extremely surprised Chris raised the bar and fixed the paint as well. I wasn't expecting the paint to be fixed. The results looked like the damage never happened. I was so impressed with his standards being so high. Amazing craftsmanship. If you can relate with growing up in poverty , you learn about how to take care of things that you own in life. Maintain your property, vehicles, watches, sneakers, suits, anything you appreciate. It's gut wrenching when you're always so careful then all of a sudden you get dinged and it's by others. Very mentally frustrating. When I picked up my car I was so happy. Now keep in mind I haven't washed my car in 2 weeks because of all the rain storms we received. That damaged area looked practically brand new. Chris made it happen. But it wasn't over. If I wanted to really see his craft I needed to do a contact wash. I took the car home. Did a wash. As expected Chris's work is legit as usual. I took pics and videos on different positions for you to view. It's clean work. All I had to do was apply a Si-o2 protection spray for now to match the hydrophobic beading with the ceramic coated car. I was due for an overhaul ceramic renewal this coming summer anyhow. Chris. My Porsche Turbo was hit in a parking lot and received a couple good sized dents plus needed some touch up. Chris helped me with the repairing of a foot-long dent on the door of the driver's seat. He first came to my home to assess the dent but found that such a long dent would need to be repaired at his repair shop in Richmond, BC. So I set up an appointment with him and brought my car to his shop to do the repair. It took about five hours for him to complete fixing the dent. I had the misfortune to back my SUV into a column in a parkade at 5km/hr. The impact left a dent on my front driver's side just noticeable enough to drive me crazy but not enough to go to ICBC with a claim. Decided to try a dent repair company in Vancouver as I heard some pretty bad stories about ones closer to home. I got a hold of Vancouver Paintless Dent Repair to fix a couple of small dents in the door (Toyota 4runner - I will never park next to the Sav-On Foods cart return again!) Al (owner) met me at a dealership in Vancouver where he was working, and in about 30 minutes my vehicle looked just like new again. You can see by the before and after photos I uploaded that he got the small dents completely removed - zippo, no trace of them at all. The other part of this review worth noting is that he is a fair and honest guy to deal with. He quotes a reasonable price, sticks to a schedule, and returns your calls (not like the first company I tried). I went with Al at Vancouver Painless Dent Repair for a small dent and scratch with no chipped paint on the front passenger side of our Acura MDX due to hitting a pole in a parkade. Originally, I was gathering quotes from a few body shops (plus Vancouver PDR) to see what it would cost to fix. One body shop said they could touch up the paint and maybe scuff out the scratch, but that the dent would stay and that it really wasn't worth fixing anyway since we would likely get more dings from parking lots, etc. (not exactly what I wanted to hear since I wanted the scratch and dent gone). Al was busy at a job when I called to say I was on my way to his shop for a quote, so he offered to stop by my house later that day (a Friday, by the way). I couldn't believe any business owner would be willing to do that for a new client! He showed up later on like he had said, assessed the damage, and fixed it right then and there. Plus, he had originally quoted me $125-175 (plus tax) on the phone for the fix, but ended up charging $110. He even noticed a couple other dents and repaired them as bonuses (no charge). I was so shocked at his generosity, I made sure to send him off with homemade cookies and a few oranges. Chris helped me with a number of dents on my cars many years ago and I was impressed with his skill and attention to detail. He would absolutely try his best to make your car look perfect again. My car recently needed some body work done and to my surprise Chris now runs a body shop and auto spa along with his paintless dent repair business. He helped made sure his guys did their best on the repair as good as possible and the results were convincing in terms of finish and colour matching. I also had a chance to check out a couple of white-coloured cars in his shop that was repainted and those were matched to a level of high standard as well. Chris was such a pleasure to deal with. I took my car in to his shop where he assessed the damage and actually stuck to his original quote from looking at photos. His shop is a little difficult to find as he site shares with another auto repair business. However not a deal breaker. Whether it's bodywork or mechanical repair, finding a good and trustworthy business is priceless. A little effort in finding his shop is well worth it. After all was said and done, one of the dents was up against a support beam within the door which prevented it from being tapped down. However, with the work Chris had done, it did look a lot better. The second dent was fixed to practically invisible. Due to the fact that he could not remove the second dent 100%, he offered not to charge me a dime. That's integrity for you. After he had spent almost 2 hours on my car, I couldn't simply walk out of there without paying him some sort of compensation, so I left him a nice tip. Chris did an outstanding job on my wife's Sienna van in repairing a dent on the tail gate door. First sent him an email for a quote, and he replied right away with a great quote. Checked around with other companies but some never replied or took forever to do so. Not with Chris, always replied right away to any questions I had including setting up an appointment right away and was very accommodating. Since he's mobile, you can either go to his shop in Richmond, or he can meet you at your home or work, which makes it very convenient. Was very meticulous working on my wife's Sienna and when it was done you can't tell there was ever a dent there. Looks just like the day we bought the car new.
