Removed and replaced house garage door, tracks, and motor. Showed up on time, quoting process was quick/accurate and most importantly they made sure I was 100% satisfied with the quality of the work. First installation looked fine to me, but the technician said door wasn't sliding as smooth as he would like to see. They came back with modified tracks, removed and reinstalled the entire job! Our garage door got badly damaged on Saturday at 7pm. Got an appointment for the next day on Easter Sunday between 10am-2pm. The next day, the technician called and let me know that he would be at my place in 25 minutes. He was punctual and gave me an estimate after checking the damage. I was having problems with my garage door, and while trying to solve it myself - I got the door stuck down. It was Sunday night, and I was able to chat with customer service and set an appointment. I had a day of work at home on Monday, and I needed a company to come take a look, get it fixed and perhaps install an automatic door system. Corey was early, clear in his explanations and fixed the door, installed me new quiet rollers, and an automatic system. I am still getting used to the idea that I can push a button to open the door, not stop in the middle of the street - open the car, open the garage....drive in, and have to fight to get it to roll down. This rating is for services received on Dec. 27, 2017. I chose Precision after searching for several garage door service options. We needed service on our garage door after one of the coil springs broke. Precision's customer service focus on their website helped them stand out from their competitors, so I called them. Not only did I get a live person (after a brief navigation through their pleasant, automated phone system) on my first call, I also received a same day appointment. This was despite my 4pm call time. Wow, impressive. James was our service technician/installer; he was friendly, professional, and did a terrific job. With two toddlers at home, safety is important so we decided to have several items replaced that were old and worn. We tried two other garage door companies and both flaked on us. Both companies had 5 star Yelp reviews. One company played us for a month saying they were waiting for a part. Then another company flaked on us twice after we gave them the benefit of doubt. Lesson learned -- if a garage door company flakes and uses wild excuses, just run. (For example, after I contacted the last company that flaked, the guy gave me the excuse, "I'm in the hospital with a minor injury"; and then later, forgetting about that hospital excuse, says "my grandfather had a stroke and is in the hospital". I looked through all the 5 star Yelp reviews and according to the (true!) one star reviews this guy says he is in the hospital all the time!) Honestly, this company was the opposite of that. They came the same day, and have multiple employees, were extremely trustworthy, and didn't over charge. I recommend. read more

My garage door busted this morning and of course with my luck, it had to be a Sunday! I called around at three places advertised in the newspaper (some of who advertised 24/7 service) but couldn't reach a live person. I googled "garage door repair" and Precision Door Service was the first to come up and advertised 24/7. Their website also showed that if called by 1:00 PM, they would come out same day. Well I called at 7:45 AM and got a live person who answered the phone. She scheduled a service tech to come out by noon. Alex K. came out as scheduled and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem and went about replacing the broken parts. He also adjusted the motor even though that wasn't the problem. Within a couple of hours, everything was done and the garage door is operating smoothly. I'll definitely use Precision again but hopefully won't need to anytime soon. read more

Sheridan Abad, the service tech, called 30 minutes before arrival, was on time with a mask on and after reviewing what needed to be done got right to work! I now have a garage door that opens all the way, a new very quiet motor, new insulation on bottom of door, new lights, garage door openers, WiFi opener in garage, new tension springs & no worries that garage door opening and closing is safe as cables were also replaced I am very pleased with everything and Sheridan did a great job explaining what he was doing and always with a smile. I called on Labor Day weekend because my garage wouldn't open. Spring was busted. These guys actually had a live human answer the phone within seconds and they sent out a guy named Cem who arrived within the time window they gave on the same day. Hopefully you guys get Cem!! He spotted the issue within seconds, was super fast, polite, and did some quick checks on other potential issues to ensure nothing needed fixing. The other day one of my garage door springs failed and I called Precision Door Service. Within 2 hours a technician was at my door step. Jason a was very professional and knew his job well. I will call Precision Door Service for any future garage door needs. In fact, just two days later I called Precision back. I removed the bottom bracket which was connected a cable; wrong thing to do. Door was stuck half way up. I called Precision on Sunday evening and requested an appointment for Monday morning. Within the hour Jason called me and advised he would be out on Monday at 8:00 am .
