Our general contractor, Shaun, managed everything from scope, purchasing and installation to painting. Communication was clear, and he kept on top of the project so we never had to follow up. We love the new doors: they're higher quality than what you can buy retail, block sound well, and have instantly upgraded the look of our home. One of the best parts about working with Fleming Construction, and what wins my business, is that we weren't asked to make technical decisions about things we don't know the answer to, which is the purpose of hiring an expert in the first place. It's a local company, which was important to us; they didn't rush us to sign and then delay starting for months. When the painter cut a corner, he noticed before we did and got it fixed. Integrity matters, and Shaun demonstrated that. Over the years, we've had experiences that make us hesitant to believe what construction companies promise. We reached out to him in January of 2025 asking if he had time to help us build a wall in our entryway sometime that year. He said yes, came over to look at our space, and charged us $100. Since then, he has done barely anything and it is now August of 2026. He has had a couple of conversations with us, said he would come back over for final measurements but never did, sent us a couple of AI rendered photos, claimed he was discussing with his door supplier, changed his business email without telling us so we had to dig for it months later after he disappeared (which he does for months at a time). He quoted $10,000 and said it could go up to $15,000. We told him we budgeted $15,000 but to let us know if the costs would be higher... we weren't fighting him on costs. We were kind and incredibly patient. We were hoping to find someone who could ultimately help us with renovating a kitchen and two bathrooms. We were willing to wait for a quality contractor, but I am appalled at the poor service we have received. Stringing us along for over a year and a half is unacceptable and unprofessional. If he hadn't been recommended by the designer, I would think he was scamming people with fake consults. I'd look elsewhere if you value your time. I feel like a bit of a fool for wasting so much of mine.

Extremely rude. Apparently they're now so busy they don't need to give good service. Shocking considering my old review. I just had Brock to my home to clean & inspect my chimney. It's my first one so he even gave me a few tips to make it efficient & care for it. He was extremely professional, friendly & did a wonderful job.
