Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.

Had unexpected issue with garage door motor and the original company that installed it 12 years ago went out of business so looked for new one I could trust. Found Precision Garage Door Service after looking at ratings and called hoping they were all correct. The service rep answered all my questions or got in touch with service department for the ones she could not answer, made appointment and Scott Trainor came out, they sent me his pic and limited bio and he was very professional, listened to my issues and concerns and offered his advice after inspecting my system. Very fair pricing and worked with me to make it make sense for a new motor, new rollers, new tension system that was all about 12 years old. Balanced the door and reprogrammed remotes. Very thorough and cleaned up, helped me move items around in my garage. Just an outstanding experience from a very good technician. Would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them if you need garage repairs. I am in the service industry so I know what good service is and this company did it really well and that's refreshing considering it's so rare today... read more

Earlier this month (July 2024) Josh Kurtz of Precision Overhead Garage Door Service, came to my house and installed two new garage door openers. He completed the job in less three hours and it was done very cleanly and professional looking. It was an excellent job. The price was in the normal price range of garage door installations. Josh Kurtz was very professional and was very well mannered. Including, saying "You're welcome" after I told him "Thanks" for the excellent job. Instead of the current generation's "No problem". I'm not really sure what exactly that means. I was raised in the'60s and was told to use my manners with everybody. No matter their age or position in life. And "You're welcome" was an important part in those manners, after someone tells you "Thank you". In the "60s, I would receive a "spanking" if I didn't do that. So, that really sticks with me. Josh thanks again, for the excellent job. I'm going to publish these comments, everywhere that I can, including Google and Yelp! I hope that your boss gives you a raise or a bonus, you deserve it. read more

Sam Roberts handled the sales process and was extremely professional throughout -- he walked me through the different door options, answered all my questions honestly, and never made me feel pressured into a decision. He made sure I understood exactly what I was getting before signing off. The installation itself was handled by Timothy Hartsell, and he did an amazing job. He was efficient, clearly experienced, and paid close attention to detail -- the doors operate smoothly and look great. He also took the time to walk me through how everything worked once the install was complete. Between Sam's professionalism on the sales side and Timothy's excellent craftsmanship on the installation, I couldn't be happier with the result. I used their online chat from the website last night to schedule an appointment to fix broken spring on my garage door. Was given a time for this morning to be here between 9-11a. I opened my email this morning to see that Precision sent an email last night saying.." " 10:37 PM The appointment that was supposed to be tomorrow morning that time frame was just taken so I will need to move your appointment to the next day from 8-10am. Please give us a call if that will not work. " I have no idea how the repair service is because I contacted another company who will be here today so I can get my car out of my garage. Expert Service and Engineering for Hi Lift Door! I sought bids from several door companies and independent contractors to covert my normal garage door to a Hi-Lift door in order to provide room to install a 4 Post Car Lift. Some no-showed, others said it couldn't be done and a few said they could raise the door a foot or so but that was the limit.
