Do NOT use this service. Was initially impressed with the kindness and quick turn around time. Drop off and screen repair was quick and owner was communicative. BUT afterwards mag charging slowly stopped working, screen experienced scrolling glitches and eventually months later the phone turned off and could never be turned on again. Worst of all the owner replied to the texts regarding the service as if it was somehow our fault and there was nothing he could do. I dropped my iPhone and of course it cracked where I have no protection, right on the face recognition/ camera. It started to get worse and I didn't want to have shards of glass in my finger. I also use my camera to FaceTime and my facial recognition. I called and went to a couple places. Precision iphone repair was able to get me in on late notice and was the cheapest place around. Many places wanted $200 and up. While I wanted quality service, a good product, I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars. I met the owner at his house and he had me sign a form. It also included my password. I was a little worried about giving someone my passcode and giving him access to all the contents on my phone. He reassured me that it was only to test the screen and that this was his business, reputation, and that I could trust that he would only use it for that. He told me it would be a little less than an hour and 45 mins later we got a text that it was done. I arrived paid with a credit card and got a receipt sent to my email. The screen works great, looks great, and he even put a screen protector on it for an extra $12. I am very happy with his customer service, communication, and the final product. I definitely recommend going here if you need to replace your screen. It's near Costco, so you can do some shopping while you wait. Hopefully I won't have to go back,but if I need my screen or anyone else that I know needs a new screen, I will recommend Precision iPhone repair. It's rare that you can recommend a business that couldn't help you, but Trent is a rare person and runs a rare company -- he's professional, patient, thorough, customer-focused, and generous. I took a troublesome iPhone to him in the hopes that a screen replacement would fix its problems, and he disassembled it, reviewed what he found, made an attempt to address the (serious) problems, kept me in the loop, and didn't charge me a cent because there was nothing he could do. My iPhone Xs Max got run over. Screen crushed, case looked okay, it worked fine except the facial recognition was iffy, because of the cracks. I made an appointment with Precision for 9:00 am the next day, dropped it off at 9, picked it up at 10. Looks and works fine, except for small scratches on the case. I was in SLO for work and required a new screen for my iPhone 11 Max. Honest and fair Summary below: -Trent seems like a nice guy and genuinely was trying to help. - The first screen he put on had a multi coloured circle in the middle of the screen. - I then drove back and he quickly put on another screen that appeared to work fine. - I then left town and within 2 day the screen went black and no longer worked. - I was no longer in SLO so couldn't take it back to him so requested a refund. He didn't ignore me (which he could have as I was no longer there), but refused to refund the $237 I paid plus around $15 for screen protector. He did offer a $77 refund for his labour time, but this would have occurred a bank transfer fee as I was an international customer. - I then took it to a stall at a local mall and they put a new one on for $180 which works fine. So overall, disappointed with my outcome, he did try and come to a solution, but not satisfactory in my opinion. Would not recommend. read more

This post is long overdue! My daughter had a cracked screen on her iPhone a few months ago. She does not have car at school, and it was difficult figuring out a way to get it fixed. She was able to get a ride to drop the phone off at Precision, but had no way of picking it up. I dropped my iPhone and the screen cracked a couple weeks ago. As a poor college student I didn't do anything about it, until I dropped it again and the screen cracked even more and made it impossible to send text messages. The apple store gave me a very expensive quote, but luckily I found precision iPhone repair; the repair cost half as much as the apple store. I was seen the same day, and the repair took just over an hour. Trent was very friendly, attentive and even followed up. My phone looks brand new and all the features work perfectly!
