I am finally getting around to writing this review. Humbly, I admit I was scammed by a "small business" I contracted with from gig market. In May of this year, they were nice enough to rip up my lawn and never return. Needing to have ANYTHING done to resolve my newly installed mud pit of a yard I called every local landscaping company. I was able to get Precision out the following week. Accounting for the excitement and gratitude I had for the expediency, I will forgo allowing that to influence my review since that portion was an outlier experience derived. They were punctual, very clear on what services would be performed, the total costs and time it would take to complete. Everything that was covered in the estimate came to fruition when the crew arrived on time and completed the work as promised. From start to finish everyone was professional, punctual and the quality was top notch. I was very pleased with our experience. When we finally decide to add details to our yard and add our fence we will without question be contracting with Precision. The quality of their work, their competitive pricing and the friendliness and professionalism of their customer service checks all the boxes. read more

I started with Precision for our lawn in March 2023. Precision immediately turned our entire lawn into something that made us proud. I have endeavored to go it alone with commercial products and research for 25+ years with mixed results. I finally gave in and solicited bids from five lawn services. Precision came in with the best and lowest bid, but with no apparent compromise in their deliverable. Set up was easy and their delivery is automatic, so I don't worry about when they'll make an application. My neighbors, both across the street and adjacent, are using different companies and I'm sure it won't be long before I start seeing Precision Lawn signs in their yards. I've spoken with a couple of the team members doing the applications and both were friendly and professional. Precision has plenty of experience doing this work and it shows with their organization, delivery, team members, and results. Shortly after joining the Precision "family" I saw they also did a range of services. One that highly interested us was landscape lighting. I didn't even bother with proposals from other lighting "experts", and I certainly wasn't doing this on my own. Precision was immediately responsive and set up a schedule for when to visit me. They were on time and professional and we discussed where wire would run and the lights to be used. The installation team was friendly and absolutely professional. One member of the team is bilingual and we discussed a few aspects of the work they were performing. We are enormously pleased with the results of our lighting. The owner and I did discuss a few items and he personally made the installation the way we wanted it. He also appreciated my feedback and stated that he would take my comments for improvement back to the team. This was a high mark for me that Ben is committed to providing the best services possible. Precision provides prompt, reliable, and professional services. They demonstrate commitment to pursue further improvement, whenever it is needed or noted by a customer. They definitely understand the old adage that customer is always right and Precision's team demonstrated that. read more

Totally unreliable. Wretched service. They will tell you what you want to hear, flood your email with spam and then not deliver on lawn care. Very robotic. They do not work with customer schedules. Far too many other choices in the marketplace. Go with anyone else! read more

Update. After my review I was contacted by the owner. He made an appointment and came to see me, heard my story, apologized for my experience and took steps to rectify the situation. I had the worse experience with Precision Land & Landscape. With service as simple as weekly mowing. I had to repeatedly call them about the terrible job done after they mowed. The repeated issues were not mowing my entire lawn and leaving a lot of grass clippings on my walkway, driveway and all in my mulched areas. The never trimmed up the edges of my lawn as discussed. The resolution, from the company was never addressed. I was told they would speak with the team and have them come back out. The team would come back out, but little to no change were accomplished. Each mow, thereafter, was the same issues. I had to discontinue services. I personally would never recommend or use them!! read more

Returned my call promptly, but just as a heads up...The map of their service area on Yelp covers Triangle, VA...but they informed me they do NOT go to Triangle. UPDATE 10/12/2018: After talking with them, we worked everything out and they have been awesome folks since. The jobs are done efficiently and thoroughly and they are always friendly and helpful. I used this company for 3 years. It did not get any better as time went on despite multiple "lip-service promises" from Ben, the owner. They are extremely unreliable with scheduling and when they do show up the result is a very quick and sloppy mowing of the lawn. They left noticable ruts in my lawn on multiple occasions. When I complained to the owner he was apologetic but did nothing to correct the poor quality issues. Instead, he bragged that they had "over 700 satisfied clients". Unfortunately they do not seem have a the resources to support that many lawns. My advice would be to avoid them. read more

First, it took 2 days for Precision Lawn two days to respond to my initial request. When they finally responded & asked for information on what I needed done, I provided them a list. After I sent the list, I never heard back from them. I was very disappointed because they were referred to me by someone on our local community neighborhood site. It pains me to write this review because some aspects of their company are really great, but unfortunately, some aspects are sub par. I specifically picked Precision because they were a local business and I want to help local businesses during tough COVID times. I requested Precision come out to my property and provide a quote for weeding, cleaning up, and mulching several plots in the front and back yard. They responded to my inquire promptly and said they could come out to my property the very next day. Awesome! I walked around the property with the Precision rep and I told him what work I wanted to be done. He took notes and photos and his Ipad and told me he would provide an estimate within a few hours. They quoted me around $900 for weeding, clean up, and mulching for both front and back yard. My property needed a lot of work so I thought it sounded like a reasonable price. I approved the estimate and went ahead. Once again, they scheduled the work to be done the next day. This is where things went south. The original crew that came out to my property did a horrible job. It was the definition of half ass. I took photos, reached out to the company and said this is unacceptable work. They agreed. They sent out a second crew and they did a much better job. I had to go to work so I was in a rush when they told me they were done, but I inspected the property two days later. Once again, I saw some issues. It was almost like they were trying to get away with doing the least amount of work as possible. So, they had to come back out a third time. Eventually, they provided the quality of work I was expecting, the quality of work you expect from a company who calls themselves PRECISION. Overall: Their customer service is amazing. However, their crews seem...simple...Meaning, I would hire them for small or basic projects. The first crew didnt know the difference between a weed and a flower. The second crew cut corners, and finally the one man third crew fixed all the past mistakes. Sabine, the receptionist is amazing. Ben, the owner, was fantastic, but they need to find better qualified and more experienced landscapers if they want to make money on large projects like my property. We requested that they replace a tree that was damaged during the heavy snow that occurred a few months ago. No only did they remove the tree with great care, they ensured the area was cleaned of all debris and made the site look natural and clean and presentable as we awaited the planting of the new tree. I am not happy at all with this company. I approved their proposal to provide mulching and pruning to my yard. They failed to complete the service. Nothing was pruned, and four trees received no mulch. I graciously allowed them to re-schedule the service for the next week, when they were scheduled to work in my area again, and was told they would be at the property between 1030 and 1200. By 2pm, no one had arrived. I called, and they said they would be there within the hour. At 430, they called and asked if they would reschedule yet again. I agreed to give them a 24 hour extension, and they tried to justify more time by claiming there might be bad weather that would cause them to be delayed for more than a day. I still haven't paid for the initial work, and don't intend to do so until they complete the work they agreed to do. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

i've used PL&L for over 3 years now, for bi-weekly mowing and yearly leaf removal; the pricing is competitive and the response to feedback is good occasionally i've had to poke their mowing crew to be more thorough with edging, but issues are resolved by the next visit i might give their landscaping design a try, i'll update after to see how that went read more

I've been using Precision Lawn & Landscape for over a year and think they are fantastic. Like the others have said, they came quickly to do an estimate once I contacted them. I was happy with the pricing and have been thrilled with their quality in grass cutting and their customer service. The lady that answers the phone when you call the business is very friendly. Unfortunately, I am moving a little further north to Fairfax County in a few weeks so I will not be able to use them after that. I am a bit worried that I will not be able to find a company as good as Precision in the new neighborhood. Anyway, try Precision out -- you will not be sorry! read more

I am very happy with the service received from Precision Mowing. I hired them to cut the grass (which was grossly overgrown) at one of my sales listings. They came by, provided estimates for initial cut and future bi-weekly cuttings, and started the next day. I did not have to check in or remind them, they just went as scheduled. I just want to take a minute and give kudos to Precision Lawn. My backyard has a brick patio that divides the yard. Initially, the workers were cutting the back with a riding mower. As they cut, the mower would drive over the patio and chip the edges of the bricks. I spoke to a very friendly and professional office manager (I believe she was the office manager) who ensured that going forward the workers would use a push mower for the backyard . I then was referred to Ben who is the owner. Ben was very responsive and contracted a company to repair the bricks. No hassle. Ben followed up throughout the process to keep me informed of what was going on. I highly recommend Precision and thank the staff and Ben. I will definitely be using them for all of my lawn care needs. read more

Precision Lawn is a wonderful, ethical, and honest company. They provide great service on site and in the office. I had an issue with billing that I, myself caused, that they didn't have to correct. They were gracious and corrected my error and it helped my elderly mother greatly on her limited income. I recommend Precision Lawn very highly. read more

We hired PL&L to hang Christmas lights. The experience started simply enough: request a quote. There were a couple of hiccups in the communication of what and when lights would be installed: the follow-up call to determine whether we wanted white or colored lights didn't happen. Instead, the workers showed up and installed white bulbs (we wanted colored). The workers did show up yesterday according to the stated time period to remove the bulbs (before 1/15/21). The issue, however, is the way they simply left some of our own lights strewn across our sidewalk instead of draping them back across the bush they had been on. You see, because the design we contracted for was a little sparse (lights just along the roofline), we also installed our own lights. Sadly, within a day or so, someone cut the lines to 2 of our displays, rendering them useless. Finally, we think the expense for PL&L's work was a little high when compared to our neighbors' providers' charges. We will not use PL&L next season. read more
