I believe he was honest and upfront about what my procedure was going to look like and how much it was going to cost. - This was my first surgery and I did have a hard time coming out of the anesthesia and I ended up visiting the er... while in the ER the dr called and checked on me multiple times to see how I'm doing and wishing me a speedy recovery. Unprofessional! Comes in the room asking why I'm here? I say to check my jaw & see if anything is wrong. He then looks at me in a confused look. I want to take the time to point out what a treasure this office is. I am almost 36 years old and had to have a wisdom tooth removed. I was very nervous when I first met with the doctor. He reassured me everything was going to be fine, scheduled my extraction and a week later everything went just like he said it would. Sandra and Nazlin were amazing on the day of my procedure. He is a fraud and yes you do not need( in most cases for wisdom tooth) to pay $450 for anesthesia out pocket before he start any kind of surgery! I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at once and it was a good experience. It's been almost painless, I just needed ibuprofen, no strong painkillers needed. I'm recovering very well. -Short Temper & Told Me to Never Comeback- Dentist: MOSHIRI, SOHRAB, DDS INC I've never been kicked out of anywhere in my life until today. I went to this oral surgeon with a referral for wisdom teeth extraction. Today was my first appointment, I arrived at 2:30 and saw the dentist at 3:30, so 1 hour wait. They told me 2 patients didn't show up in time causing the delay... (okay then) Anyways, so as the dentist is talking to me about what needs to be done he tells me I need to get a CT scan so he can "get a better look" & it would be out of pocket for $500 in his office. But, I went to my general dentist a week ago and he told me it's just a pocket formed by my wisdom tooth. The last thing I told him was 'ok I'll talk to my insurance and see if they can cover the cost of the CT scan'. As soon as I said that this dentist lost it. He got angry and said I offended him. Confused as Hell I asked him what did I say and he said 'he doesn't have time for the little things and bs and that he has better things to do than take money from people'. Then he left and proceeded to scream about me to his receptionist, so again I told him that I was just asking a question and he needs to calm down. He proceeded to yell at me and told me to get out and never come back. All because I "offended" him by questioning why there needs to be a CT scan and why insurance wouldn't cover it. Interestingly enough, while I was in the waiting room, I overheard him tell two other patients they also needed CT scans. So when he told me I needed one it suddenly clicked in my head that this guy is trying to make extra bucks... or it's a complete coincidence. You be the judge -_____- Not all dentists are scam artists, but the way this man got angry and yelled at me over nothing, he seemed extremely triggered. Like the song, he went from 0 to 100 real quick. Overall, wait time was long, told me to pay $500 out of pocket for in office CT scan -prior to insurance authorization, and then blamed me for questioning him. A good doctor would never be offended if you asked questions or wanted a second opinion. Do yourself a favor and Do Not come to this dentist. I can't imagine a man with this bad of a temper to be performing oral surgery on anyone. Please get a second opinion before giving offices your hard earned money. It's your right as a patient to ask doctors more questions and talking to your insurance provider. read more

I whent in to remov a broken crown .... we spoke about whats going to be done... and right befor he start working on me, i said please let me understand again what exetctly you gonna do becuse i was in really deep pain i couldent even think right he repeat and i ask him to stop and cancel cuse it was sound to much $500 for just remove my crown ...as well short on money anyway and when i said want to go home and not do the job ...they refound only half $250 that i paid with credit and cash $250 got stolen in my face while im begging him to get me my money back ....!! Just wrapped up a fantastic experience at Precision Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. My son needed 4 deeply impacted and roots-twisted wisdom teeth removed. From the moment we first walked in, we felt very welcome by the front desk lady Azar. Then, when we spoke to the doctor, he inspired a lot of confidence...this man is skilled and highly experienced, and knows what he is doing. I appreciated his old-school, no-nonsense but still friendly demeanor. He explained everything thoroughly. We had to pay cash for a CT scan, but they submitted for the actual extractions and anaesthesia to the insurance and it was all covered. Just be aware there may be out of pocket costs depending on your situation. The day of the surgery went flawlessly. I think it took a total of an hour to an hour and a half including the recovery from the general anaesthesia. My son's teeth were a mess, and this was a tricky extraction job, but Doctor Moshiri and his team did it perfectly...son is doing great and happy. The atmosphere is clean and professional, and the staff (all Persian) are very friendly and helpful (and the nurses are cute to boot). I don't think I have had a better experience at a dentist -- highly recommended! read more

Stay away from this place. They are super friendly and nice when you first meet them, but the second they finished with your procedure or you refuse to pay alot of money for something, the dentist turns into the biggest jerk. Just because you can't make money off of me anymore doesn't me you can treat me like trash. I 100% agree with the previous comment about them making things up so you have to pay cash up front. I regret that I did so because I was in so much pain, but then they wanted even more money for anther procedure and I had to say no cause I had no more money. MOSHIRI, SOHRAB, DDS INC is a scam and a fraud and HE WILL BE ARRESTED. He fraudulently makes patients pay $250 for a CT scan that they do not need and that's not covered under insurance for dental work. Why does a person need a CT scan for dental work? The x rays that are covered with dental insurance are more that sufficient for wisdom teeth extractions which is what I needed. I was also told I needed to have my JAW BROKEN AND RECONSTRUCTED to remove my wisdom teeth and of course I would have to pay for that out of pocket. When I questioned why I needed to have my jaw broken he was very rude and dismissive then told me he wasn't going to remove my wisdom teeth if I didn't agree to to all the other surgeries the told me I needed and had to pay for out of pocket. I see there are several complaints about this fraudulent practice. I will be filing a class action law suit for myself and several of his former patients who's beed fraud in this way. The doctor was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the staff was very patient with all of the questions I had even when I called them several times. I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes! Stay away from this Oral con. This office is a pathetic example of patient care and service. The surgeon Sohrab Moshiri and the receptionist named Azar, are trying to double-dip the system, by getting paid by insurance, and getting you to pay cash, upfront. They make-up and diagnose phantom problems and situations, and say that insurance does not cover it, so I have to pay cash. But when I spoke directly to insurance provider, they explained in detail, that the procedures that I required are covered, and that the doctor is required to process the procedure. When I tried to explain, they go on rants without giving me a chance to speak, and say that the system sometimes pays, sometimes does not. They give excuses after excuses, and blame the "system," to get you to pay. Unprofessional, possible fraudulent, and ill-tempered. You don't want to pay, then go somewhere else is their attitude at the final stage. I was trying to propose, that if they would help me, with allowing me to pay for the service, but provide the documentation, so that I can submit it for reimbursement. SORRY NO! Is the answer. You pay, be quiet and move along. We are not interested in you getting reimbursed. Hmmm! Smells of fraud. And if it walks like duck, talks like a duck...then.... I mean, if you don't like to process certain insurances, then don't. But, stop cheating the patient and the system at the same time. Isn't their job to provide the service and be paid the agreed and negotiated amount? Shouldn't they try to help the patient in pain. read more

I brought my son here for a second opinion on a procedure to remove an ordontoma prior to braces and another tricky situation with an impacted canine. Dr Moshiri painted a bleak picture and rendered little hope of saving the impacted tooth and talked about a very complex surgery and bone graft thereafter. We went to the orthodontist and recounted what Dr Moshiri had said and he almost laughed, saying that bone grafts were totally unnecessary in children as they are developing and bone would grow back easily. Our Ortho indicated that the impacted tooth could quite possibly be saved and it was impossible to say for sure what the body might do-best to be conservative and try and save the tooth. This was more in line with what our first oral surgeon had said. Bottom line-always get a second or third opinion. I don't think this Dr is intentionally misleading but perhaps more traditional in wanting to do more severe procedures than may perhaps be necessary. I'm of the opinion that less invasive should be tried first. Please get a second opinion before any major surgery. read more

Now that I have received my money back, this review was long overdue. I saw Dr. Rude ass (Moshiri) on 1/3/20 where he did a consultation on a tooth I was told I needed to remove. He told me he would like to do CT scan so he could see where the tooth should be removed. I asked, "if I purchase this CT can I use the scan at another office should I get a second opinion?". Moshiri answered, "yes, absolutely." I agreed to the CT ($250) based of that answer. Moshiri was (fake) polite during my service and showed concern until I called asking for a copy of that CT scan. He handed me a black and white copy of my scan instead of a CD copy. When I asked for a CD copy he condescendingly replied, "let me educate you, any doctor can read that copy I handed to you and if you want me to put it on a cd you go buy one and bring it to the office." I just hung the phone up and began my refund process since he was being an ass and expected me to pay more money to bring a CD when he had a stack of them by his computer! Please, do not see this doctor. I have never met such a rude and unprofessional doctor in my life! read more
