As for the work itself, Don was outstanding. He's extremely skilled with the equipment -- moving large boulders and leveling the area with precision, all without causing any damage. Our entrance is very narrow, and he maneuvered through it with just inches to spare, always careful and fully in control. He was also patient and collaborative, adjusting the boulders until they were in the perfect position to form the foundation for our flower structure. The pricing was very reasonable, which convinced us to expand the scope of the project -- and it was worth every penny. They carefully figured various issues (broken pipe on one downspout, a piece of downspout logged in another pipe and remaining kinds clogged), carefully fixed the issues and then ran the pipes clean to ensure everything worked and no new issues cropped up. They were quick and neat and reasonably priced especially compared to other companies who quoted just a one fix of a pressure wash which in our case would have caused more damage. Will use again if needed and definitely recommend.

In trying to find a solution to an ongoing, big problem, I spoke with many foundation/drainage contractors. I also spoke with a home inspector, who recommended that I contact Steve Bodine. Steve promptly came out to look at my job, and had brilliant and knowledgeable suggestions that other contractors had never even mentioned. My building is 50 years old and needed new drains and a place to direct the water run-off during heavy rains. Steve pulled drawings from the City of Seattle to show where, with the proper permits, my drains could be connected to the City's storm drain. I checked out Steve and Bodine Construction Services' reviews out, and saw the excellent reviews they consistently receive. I hired Steve and his team to do my job. They installed new French drains and water-proofing for our 50 year old home. Steve told me exactly what it would cost, and when he could start my job. Throughout the duration of the job, Bodine Construction Services provided detailed, explanatory job progress photos. It turned out to be a leaking furnace in another corner of the basement leaking under the floorboards. Instead of trying to sell us anything we didn't need, he actively helped us troubleshoot and find the issue so we could point the furnace company right to it. This visit didn't make Bodine a sale, but it did make me a customer for life! Highly recommend Bodine Construction Previous Visit 2019: Bodine Construction came out and helped resolve a sewer/drainage issue that another sewer/drainage company had caused, and essentially went to bat for us to get us some of our money back from the previous company. On top of that their prices were fair and their work was great. We had a couple other companies out to look at the issue, but it felt like they just wanted to sell something. With Bodine, it felt like they were there to help and solve the problem, not just make a sale. And they did! Great help, great work, great people. On 11-19-2025 we had a backed up sewer line. We had another company come out to snake it and he…read morewas only able to get to 45 feet and couldn't get any further. This was inside our property line. Our first call was to Warden Construction to come out give an estimate to do trenchless sewer replacement. Ry Warden, owner, came out and used his camera and was able to go out 60 feet to the middle of the width of our alley and marked it with paint on the asphalt surface. This spot ended up being directly above the sewer main. He said he believed it was the city's problem. Ry did not charge us at all to come out and for the camera work he did. Said he was in the area. If we ever need any work done in the future we will definitely call him. The city had us call someone in to hydro jet the sewer line and then use a camera. This company was also unable to clear the line and their camera ended up in the exact same spot. The city ended up having to the fix the problem at no expense to us.
