The slab jacking was OK however the upsell to crack repair was ridiculous. It is a neighborhood joke, "should have got red so it would look like lava oozing out". One guy, caulk gun didn't get his trowel dirty just squeezed out globs of expansion caulking and dumped gravel on it. Didn't even step on the gravel or anything. The quality is horrid, walk over it and it can roll off. In some areas the globs are 1/4 inch higher than the cement. Unreal, and it works out to around $1300.00 per hour. read more

The patio under the elevated deck was sinking since I bought the home 15 years ago. This sinking caused the deck to lean considerably. I was able to raise the deck and separate the concrete patio where the posts are located. Slabjack did a wonderful job in lifting this huge patio in different areas and made the cracked areas even with each other. They kept the bid that they offered from 2018 and did an outstanding job. My 20 year old home had a garage floor and driveway that sank about an inch and a half in some areas over that time period. I researched several options for repair and chose Slabjack. Our driveway had sunk in a couple of places, and due to that it cracked. I got a quote to replace the driveway but just couldn't afford it. Our concrete front porch (with 5 concrete steps leading to a concrete walkway) had sunk about 4 inches. This caused rain water to drain towards the house instead of away from the house - not a good thing with wood siding. Slabjack raised the porch back up and now the water drains away from the house. They also raised the concrete walkway leading to the porch which had also sunk a bit. The process did cause the porch to shift away from the house about a half inch (they mentioned that would be a possibility) but I was able to easily fill the gap with mortar. The four fill holes they drilled in the concrete aren't all that noticeable and overall it looks great. I thought the quote was reasonable and the people I talked to were friendly. Now I just need to get used to not stepping up from the porch to enter the house! read more

Chris came out and gave me a bid on my porch which had settled and became very uneven,he said we can do this with no problems. Well there was a problem the porch wouldn't tilt back instead it came straight up.the installer raised it up to where the door jam is out of square and the screen door will not stay shut also the brick wall fell over. To make a very long story short it took over a month to get them back here to try to resolve this. Now there is to much material under the porch to try to level it and they don't want to repair it Chris told me I was a big pain and nobody would wipe their rear end for what we charged you " we will not repair your porch or any other damage"and walked of yelling at me and pretty much said to **** off and left now I'm looking at about a $ 3-4000.00 fix read more

Estimator Brian reviewed the job Initially and was very informative & personable, offering different options on his bid same-day. Their pricing was very competitive and once we reached an agreement Office Mgr Jenna kept us updated throughout the process on scheduling and what to expect. Installers Israel and Steve arrived on-time a week later, took extra care in not only the areas they were supposed to fix but also on the surroundings and in explaining what they were doing and what to expect. Later they patiently agreed to spend additional time on a particularly difficult spot at my request without any annoyance or frustration (many contractors do NOT want customer input or special requests!). This happened in 2013 and I should really add my "like" for Bill's work. I asked a few companies to bid on raising some concrete. Bill was the only one who showed up, was on time, and most important: he realized that my issue was more than "slabjacking" could fix. He spotted a crack in my garage foundation, dug a way down on the outside wall, suggested I call a contractor. The contractor found exactly the issue, and did the fix that Bill was suggesting. My front large cement porch sank four inches as well as significant sinking on the front porch landing where it sank enough to cause me concern that my front awning was going to break from the house. I called three contractors, one came by to look, said he would provide an estimate and never heard back. I then called Slab Jack, they came out within a few days, very professional, gave me a very decent quote, and a few days later job done. My porch is back up, my awning no longer in danger and very minimal evidence they were even there. If you have sinking issues, these are the guys to call. Very pleasant experience. read more
