I had a leak from an upstairs neighbor's kitchen into my apartment less than 2 weeks after moving into my new home. Needless to say this was an extremely annoying accident but Martin did his best to minimize the time for the repairs and the impact on my living situation. I took the company all the way to the CSLB arbitration process and won. Case number AS2013-240. Not enough to compensate the $60,000 in damages they did to my house but I feel morally righted. "Amazing work at incredible prices, but know that they are busy." Everybody wants a piece of Martin and his team and it's easy to understand why. They are such nice guys who do their best to give you a very good price. Their skill level and the quality of work are outstanding. On top of all of that, Martin tries to support you through the restoration process with advice from his years in the business. I live in a condo complex that seems to always have a leak going on somewhere, so I've worked with them on a few projects. They've repaired a few of a my leaking ceilings. I can't speak to the quality of the work since we could never manage to get anyone to perform any repairs. I can only speak to the lack of professionalism exhibited. They started off by being over 2 hours late to give us an estimate. This was followed by over a month of no returned calls or emails to schedule the repairs. When we finally were able to schedule an appointment they never showed up and never called to let us know. We rescheduled once we were assured they wouldn't let us down and would make things right. If you guessed that they never showed up and never called about missing the rescheduling you'd be right. So after 2 1/2 months they wasted 2 days of my time, caused me to be late for work and nothing was repaired. Would not recommend these guys unless you have no other options. The one thing I will say that is positive, is that I truly believe that the owner is a good guy--I spent time talking to him about personal stuff, just shooting the breeze, and I don't think he would intentionally try and screw anyone. That said, the inital work was not done well, and neither was any of the subsequent work. And saying you'll m"make it up" doesn't actually make it up. The Backstory: We have a sewage flood in our bathroom apartment. Day 1: They were there within 1.5 hours. Okay job cleaning up, but a VERY superficial cleaning. They did emergency water clean up only and left. Day 2: Crew returns and rips out flooring in bathroom and sets up fans to dry everything. At this point, I am very clear on the fact that I need to know what their plans are so we can make accommodations for ourselves and our pets. I continually ask detailed questions re: scheduling to avoid any wasted time, etc. Day 3: Owner/estimator comes out, sees the adjoining bedroom wall is wet and says they should have set up fans in the bedroom and closet, too. Day 4: They were supposed to come and finish the job at 1pm. Mind you, they have been late and/or rescheduled for same day EVERY TIME so far. I call and they have no idea about 1pm appointment. Owner says he'll be there at 1:30, then calls back to reschedule for 2pm. NO SHOW, NO CALL. This was my 2nd day off work, specifically to deal with these guys. I am flipping out, so my girlfriend calls and reams them. They are very apologetic and agree to come out the next day, which we can't do because we have to work. They agree to come before hours and show up at 6am the next morning. Day 5: Finally, the work is getting done! They have to come back after hours for a final coat of paint and guess what? An hour late. Surprise. Sure, I was out of work 2 days and sleeping in a hotel while these guys messed around with our place, in between their other jobs. But, the REAL problem is the quality of the work they did. We had to point out MANY problems with their "restoration", including unwiped off walls, cabinetry, bathtubs (that they also empited their own equipment waste into creating more mess), etc. The linoleun tile work they did is okay, as long as you don't mind your new baseboards coming unattached from the wall. And, the replacement pad they installed under the affected carpet is a different thickness from the original, and they left a approx. 1-inch gap between where the old and new pad begins. I pointed this out to the nice young man installing it, and he just kind of mused for a moment...they went on his way doing whatever. Originally, they also did not pull the carpet flush with the wall, and when I asked, the guy remarked, "That wasn't like that?" Oh, and we had to have the building maintenance wash out the bathtub after they "finished". We told him not to bother to finish wiping down the walls that still had specks of sewage on them, since we were moving from that dump, anyway. In all fairness, if my apartment manager had actually managed this project, it may have not taken 2 days of my being off work, and 5 days to complete. But, still... unless you want a completely unprofessional scheduling experience and shoddy workmanship, I suggest you look elsewhere. Of course, that's the trouble with emergency services...you don't always have a choice! This is just a warning to those who do. read more

i live in a small oceanfront condominium complex. A copper pipe had a slow leak in my unit. That leak was not detected until a rather large brown stain appeared on the ceiling. PRS came to the rescue! Martin Perez immediately set up the dehumidifiers and opened up that ceiling, located the slow drip and began the removal of the part of the pipe that was damaged. After that pipe was successfully repaired Martin turned the completion efforts over to his 'right hand man'. The completion process required drywall repair, carpet reinstallation and the reordering of one completely chaotic room that needed to be returned to its original order. WELL DONE! Martin did a great job communicating with me how he'd check out the suspected roof leak (it involved a 20-foot ladder and a bit of prayer), what needed to be done to fix it, and what the timeline would be. I didn't make it easy by going out of town for two weeks, but he was patient and worked around my schedule. Martin, Adan, and the rest of the team fixed the leak (which was more extensive than originally thought) and then Adan came back to do the water test (success) and repaired the hole that had been cut in my bedroom ceiling. We gave them a call late in the evening and they sent a guy out "Martin" to give us a free estimate and evaluation of the damage. He was very professional, and gave us a great evaluation of the damage that had occurred. We let him and his crew get to work right away early the next morning. They covered all the furniture that was in the damaged area, and brought the rest out to the garage. They worked quickly and promptly and got the job finished within a quick period of time for the amount of damaged that occurred.
