After nearly a year of giving this shop the benefit of the doubt, I can honestly say I no longer feel comfortable entrusting my family's vehicles here. While a few technicians have done solid work--and I want to give credit where it's due--the overall experience has been disappointing. The customer-facing employee consistently sets the tone with a "bothered" attitude, making it hard to feel heard or respected. A tire sensor issue from the original repair was never resolved, despite multiple explanations, and it still hasn't gone away. As much as I wanted this place to work out--especially being close to home--I've lost peace of mind. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my vehicles elsewhere moving forward. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and I sat there with my children for 2 hours. Come to find out they didn't have the correct oil but instead of saying anything they just sat there. The manager decided to be nice since they messed up and I had an appointment some where else! He offered to take me home and make sure the oil change will be done! So it all went according to plan. 2 months passed and my hood wouldn't open, come to find out that a tool was left in my hood. I called them to let them know . The lady answered the phone and said, sorry about that being the car back in. Because that tool was left in my car, my hood got stuck causing the hood release to be damage. When I went back to get it fixed. The manager Cat said, he has no memory of it and basically made it seem like I was lying! This is the worse experience I have ever had! Now I have to involve the police and lawyers because they will not fix my car, meanwhile I still have the tool! The manager that I talked to name was Cat. Also, the manager who took me home was driving his nieces suv and that was sliver but yet I'm lying according to Cat! Don't trust this place! stay away from them I been coming to them for services for a while now the last time I went for oil changed whoever printed the sticker out and put on my windshield put the wrong mileage I started having problems with my car where it started making noises and blowing out smoke, My son took me and talk to Chad about the issue I had the last receipt and had the sticker they put on my windshield, my son asked Chad to print off the sticker showing the mileage when it needs to be changed, it didn't match up with what they had on my windshield we showed him the sticker and he told us to go ahead and change the oil and get the car up here so he can do a diagnostic now my car needs a new engine I ask if they are going to replace this since they screw my car up he said they are not responsible since we changed the oil, I told Chad that he was the one to tell us to change it himself his remark was I would never tell my customer that!! My go to place no matter the price I had an issue before with a tire sensor after coming from here randomly no problem I went got it fixed it. 1/27/24 I got a tire rotation/oil change and I drive my car 3miles and that sensor comes on again I call to tell them about this an I got it was like that upon arrival and the cold weather you guys just topped my air off and I just got off the highway 50miles after recalibrating it myself. Trust the reviews!!!! This place is HORRIBLE!! I am convinced the good reviews are written by the employees themselves or their family members! Went to get a simple oil change. Drove back home parked in my driveway went out the next morning and I noticed a leak under my car. Took it back to be told by the receptionist that it was noted that my car already had a leak which it did not. The receptionist immediately had an attitude as if she were a mechanic, which I couldn't understand. I have never had a puddle of oil under my car. That is something my husband and I would notice right away. Then the mechanic comes back and says he added a washer onto the oil cap which took quite a while. I said thank you and left. Now today I'm driving back from taking my girls to school and the whole car starts shaking and slowing down. I had to pull into a subdivision. Now I have never had any problems at all driving this vehicle! NEVER! It's like they get upset when you come back with a minor issue and give you a bigger issue to worry about. Although they broke my key and only roared 2 tires they charged me for this invoice a total $159.73- 2.2.22/ mysteriously I received a engine light 2.11.22 which costed me at this same location $488.44 on the invoice 2.14.22. I had a very bad experience and This auto repair shop and I don't recommend anyone take there vehicle there . I went there to get my alternator changed with I knew wasn't cheap . They gave an estimate on a new alternator for 492.00 with after doing my own research it actually cost 301.1 and after I confronted them about it they made it seem like that price wasn't wrong . They charged me $864 and they crazy thing is I don't even know if the alternator they put in my car is what they said that they put because when I ask for a receipt showing where they got it from and the price they couldn't provide me with one . It came off as shady so I asked for the exact location of where they got alternator from I called the auto zone and they told me that they don't have any alternator that cost 492 .22 . So I don't even know if they alternator in my car is new or a used one and I can't speak to a manager yet and it's been almost a week if ur seeing this don't take ur car there . If you don't want to read a 2 page post, just know this: AVOID this place. You'll regret ever going here. My wife took her car in here to get an oil change done. She was told she would be out of there in 45 mins. It took 2 hours just to get the car into the bay, then another 45 to actually change the oil. That was just the beginning of the trouble. She came home and stated they charged for an extra 1.5 qts of synthetic oil. (Extra $10) on top of the 5 quarts that's included in the price. I KNOW that's impossible to have a 4 cylinder car with 6.5 quarts of oil. Sure enough, the dipstick was over the full line by a lot. The oil was DIRTY, like they didn't even change it. Completely black. (Should be a waffle syrup brown/golden). The next thing I noticed was the bottom plastic shield/rain guard wasn't screwed back to the car, it was dangling. Good thing she didn't lose it on the way home. The other thing was whoever was filling the oil, managed to get it over half the top of the engine. There was oil everywhere on the engine. Finally, the steering wheel was all oily from the mechanic's hands. The buttons he tried to push to reset our reminder were all oily. Took the car back and asked them to fix the problems. At this point the manager was ok. Drained the oil, filled up the engine with new oil. It was the wrong weight. The manual calls for specific weight oil due to warranty, they put in different viscosity. Manager started getting upset, saying "It's the same, won't hurt a thing". I told him I want it to be the CORRECT weight due to warranty on engine. He got all cranky with me but I told him they better do it correct. Long story, (not) short, I will never go back to this place. About a year ago there was a different manager. He was good. The one they got now, husky, short dude doesn't give a rat's you know what about customers. Shame. read more

Brought my car in to have the A/C system diagnosed. It was a little expensive, but it included suction and replacement of up to a pound of freon so I didn't think much of it. They told me the component that was damaged so I elected to have them suction out the A/C lines, repair that component myself, and have them replace up to a pound of freon when I returned since that was included in the price I already paid for. Upon returning to pick up my car after the freon was put back in, I was charged the full price for freon recharge despite explaining to the manager that we already paid for the amount of freon used to recharge. They were able to see the receipt of my initial payment. Despite this, the manager proceeded to explain to me his concerns about the cost of freon and attempted to tell me that receiving the pound of freon that I already paid for was contingent on me doing the repairs at their shop....even though I paid for it. To make it worse, I confirmed with them the morning I dropped it off that I would only be obligated to pay for freon that went over the pound which was already paid for, to which their response was "yes". Worst place to go to and very unprofessional employees, the only person that I had a good encounter with was the receptionist up front! The receptionist was probably the only good service I've had there and the only reason why I'll be returning!!!! on the other hand as I was walking from Waffle House into the lobby while my vehicle was in the shop I noticed that the gentleman doing my oil change a long with two other people were standing in the shop smoking marijuana by MY CAR and as soon as you walked into the lobby the whole entire place smelled like weed! Whoever the manager is allows this kind of behavior does not need to be the manager!!! If they have done it this time there has def done it before! If they aren't fired or handled with I will be calling corporate to let them know that this is a drug dealing facility and that's why cars are messed up all the time!!! Also when I was there I overhead a lady that got an oil change and she was on the way home and her vehicle started smoking and broke down and come to find out the same guy that did my oil change did hers!! After paying them over $500 for two new tires, my husband's tire pressure light came on as he drove back from the shop. When he stopped to investigate, one of the new ones was leaking air so fast you could hear it hiss. It was nearly flat. He returned only to be told that they had to wait for a technician (a "bead sealer") who could properly install his low-profile tires. Why they took his money and sent him on his way KNOWING they hadn't been properly installed is completely beyond me. I'm guessing they just decided to cut corners, do a hack job, and hope for the best. So what should have been a two hour job by a competent technician has turned into a dangerous situation and a day-long ordeal. read more

Very disappointed after learning that this Precision Tune location made us pay for a lifetime brake job twice. Once in 2015 and then again in 2016 when we asked them in 2016 if there were records of the 2015 lifetime purchase the service guy lied and told us no so we ended up paying for this service again. We had to call another location just to find out that we purchased this service twice. We were also told by another location that a certain service guy at this location is known for doing things like this. We are currently trying to get in touch with the district or regional manager to discuss this matter. read more

I never write reviews. The service here is HORRIBLE. I took my SUV in to get an oil change and before I could pull off, my car wasn't acting right. I was unable to accelerate. I take my car back to the shop and they pull it to the back immediately. After waiting 25 minutes they bring it back to me with no explanation. I ask the technician what happened and he says "they emptied the wrong fluid from my vehicle". I had to request to speak to the manager who nonchalantly comes over and says "may I help you". He doesn't apologize but offers to give me a free oil change next time. After reading these reviews there will not be a next time. I have a 2014 durago hemi. I took it in for service and after a longer than normal wait was told they are having trouble removing the plug from the plastic oil pan. {in a hemi} Come to find out this is not that uncommon with dodge. Asked if I could come back giving them time to order a new oil pan in case it came to that. I asked how much is this going to cost and to my surprise was told no charge. We do your oil changes this is our problem. Took it back a few days later they did finally remove the plug without damage to the oil pan, can't say that for the plug. When I picked the car up they apologized for any inconvience which they really didn't need to do. When I tried to pay was told to have a nice day and come back. I brought my car here for tires and brakes about two years ago and they provided great service...I needed a starter so I decided to take it back. The only issue my car was having was the starter. I also had them complete the oil change. When I got in my car I noticed that my oil percentage still read the percentage from when I brought in my car.. I questioned if the oil had indeed been changed and they claim it had and just updated the %. I also noticed a fluid leaking and they claim it was windshield wiper fluid. The very next day I noticed a lot of antifreeze leaking from my car. Now I'm am leery about bringing it back so I'm going to bring it to the dealer. They have changed managers and staff and I am not confident in their abilities. I will update after taking to my car to the dealer. Hoping it won't cost me an arm and a leg. First of all, my valve gasket cover was placed on the wrong way and instead of them fixing it with no charge, they didn't tell me anything and I had to find out at another location which means I paid for it TWICE when the 2nd time was THEIR FAULT! The lady at the front desk has the most DISGUSTING attitude and should be terminated immediately. LUCKY FOR HER, she caught me on a good day. I went in for a oil change and walked across the street to the Waffle House. When I came back my car was done and the lady never told me anything. I would have given zero star if it were possible. I went there for an oil change. After they finished, I went to start my car that they pulled up, but it would not start. I then went back to let them know, they told me that the technician had indicated that my check engine light was on, my battery light was on and other lights were on. I told them that when I brought my car, no lights were on. It became a back and forth between us. They said they were going to run a diagnosis and then I would pay to fix what the problem was. And I was like "how can I pay to fix a problem I never had before I came to their office". At a point they threatened to work me out of their office. Eventually they came back to me and told me they had been able to clean out the lights. Meanwhile they never bother to explain to me what happened. If I could write this review with NO STARS I certainly would!!!! An employee backed my vehicle into another resting vehicle after supposedly changing my oil. The manager at this location proceeded to look at my vehicle after the fact and asked the same employee to move my vehicle into a parking spot rather than suspending that employee for backing my car into another resting vehicle. Next, the manager then refused to give me insurance information and wanted to schedule me to take my car to his opposing shop to be painted. After an agonizing two months of dealing with his noncompliance in gaining insurance information, I received a refund for damages that I had to pay for out of my own pocket rather than the location. My Maintanence light is STILL ON. This location offers no customer service and seems to have little to no knowledge of cars. I urge people to NOT go to this location for anything!!!!! I will not be coming back here again. I have been coming to this location for over six years and it has gone down hill over the past year. When I first started to come here the staff was great. I saw the same people each time, the manager was friendly and helpful...they even knew me by name. For the past year they have turned over so many mechanics as well as managers. There are new people working here every time I go in and to bo honest I don't think most of them are even qualified to change the oil in a car! They have spilled oil in my engine the past three times (trust me I've mentioned each time) and it takes forever to burn off. When I first started coming here I could be in and out in thirty minutes. I was skeptical. A chain auto shop, I've never been there before, and most of all my car is very important to me. I needed a tune up because my car is way overdue. Overall, I am satisfied. New spark plugs and an oil change has my car running like new. Although i had a 70 dollar coupon (which by the way said i may be charged more) i was charged about 20 dollars more! It's something I can live with, but its definitely slightly disheartening. I wanted to write to the corporate office to let them know about my experience. On March 31, 2016 I took my 2012 Chevy Cruz in for an oil change, after they finish I left and drove about 20mins away and the inside/ under the hood was fill with smoke. I immediately pull over to see what was going on! Which two other cars pulled over because they thought the car was going to catch on fire. We open the hood and oil was burning on the motor and splash everywhere. I took several of pictures and video just in case something goes wrong with my car. Then I contact the McDonough service shop and the manager sent Billy out to come take a look because he think the other service guy forgot to put the o ring on the filter. Which after Billy arrived he stated that the guy who service my car isn't the normal person who handle oil change and they were short staff. Billy thank us for stopping right away due, to the loss of oil. He replaced the o ring also add more oil in the motor while we were on the side of the rode. At this point I was extremely frustrated! Billy also took the car to the car wash and clean off the engine, but the smell has yet to go away. They also stated that if something happens to my car they are full responsible. Came here to get my air conditioner fixed found out half through that the management did not have enough freon and charged me $40.00 for "inspection" with no written analysis on what they even did. The manager did not want to order more freon until the next season! On top of that the mechanic working on the car left grease marks all over the seat and door panel. A week ago my check engine light came on in my car. I was nervous, so I stopped by Precision Tune for them to check my car. After 2 hours or so, they told me that I needed a tune up and an ignition coil. Since they couldn't do it that day (due to closing hours), I decided to take a day off to bring it in. The manager told me that it would be roughly a 3 hour job. The next day the check engine light went off. I drove my car for another week with no problems before taking it back to get the tune up. I dropped it off at 8 am and walked back home since I live close by. 1 pm arrived and the shop had not called me about my car, so I decided to call. The manager stated that he was just about to call me, that the tech was taking it for a test drive but it should be fine to come in. When I got there, my car was not ready! He stated that a red lightning bolt had came on in my car and they were not sure what it was. That I would need to take it to the car dealership for them to fix it. He said it would cost $150! After I have already paid them $500! I left Precision and drove less than 3 minutes my car started shaking and the lights in the dash started to blink. I took it back to Precision and explained what happen. The manager yelled at me and told me that my car was driving fine and that if there were any lights on the dash, that they were there when I brought it in. Needless to say, after they reviewed my car they failed to replace/install properly a O-ring. I had to wait another 1 hour and half and the manger did not offer an apology.
