We saw their ad in the Home Mag and decided to give them a try. We scheduled an appointment with this company for an estimate to install artificial turf at our house. The scheduled time they gave us was "After 4:00pm"(whatever that means. It could be midnight) One and a half hours later, still no show from anyone from this company. Nor have we gotten a phone call as to why they are late or when they will show. Several calls to this company and all we get is an answering machine. This is no way to do business! Preferred Turf did the front lawn (about 900 sqft) for my in-laws and a batting cage for my backyard (about 800 sqft). We wanted to use very specific turf, and they were very accommodating and got us exactly what we wanted. My batting cage also required the poles to be put into cement, which they also did for me without any issues. They finished the work in a day, and when I found a couple of minor issues, they came the very next day to fix it. Wow-these guys were phenomenal! Courteous, professional, on-time and excellent WORK ETHIC! We had multiple bids for artificial turf for our front and side yard. Ivar had a great price and was able to come the next day to start installation. We could tell from the moment the guys came over that they were hard working, so we asked if they could also include replacing the backyard lawn with turf. Ivar was thorough in explaining the process of installation and answered all our questions. We had all the sprinklers capped and one sprinkler was having issues. Ivar worked on the sprinkler system until he got it fixed exactly as needed. The lawn and work they did exceeded all our expectations. We had a small lawn in the front yard that required twelve sprinklers to keep it looking somewhat green. Being well aware of the drought conditions and the rising water bills we decided to look into turf replacement. I called several companies in the area to get quotes but most were difficult to meet with so I decided to hire the first contractor that made himself available. Big mistake! They came out and did the job in one day. After a couple of weeks the mistakes started to reveal themselves. Seams started to become more visible, sprinklers were running under the new turf and the edges were separating from the walkway. It was a mess. I needed to hire somebody to do the job correctly and on the advice of a mutual friend I hired Ivar to redo the job. Ivar came out and met with me on several occasions as we decided on which turf would look best and when the work could be performed. His crew came out bright and early that day and completely transformed the yard. It looks outstanding and much better than other artificial lawns in the neighborhood .
