A seriously underrated pizza spot in Downey! My family and I tried the supreme pizza and it was DIVINE. Not super greasy like costco pizza and very fluffy with lots of fresh ingredients. We were so happy to find this place and will be coming here all the time now! There wasn't much of a wait time when we went and we only had to wait 10 minutes for our order. The staff was very kind and the pizza was very fresh just not that good in taste. Not the staff fault, just the recipe was pretty lackluster. The crust is flavorless and even though I prefer the look of this pizza, I'll probably just go to little Caesars next time. I have to say pronto's pizza is much better than most five dollar pizzas however the service is not as good. They sometimes get your order wrong through the phone and they seem to hire people that are inpatient. I don't want to give out some names but owner or manager needs to step up their game. My favorite pizza! Glad they offer delivery now! They don't skimp on the cheese at all, unlike other places. Their version of cheese is what other places consider "extra cheese." Great alternative to little ceasers. For a cheap dinner this is the place to go. Usually pretty quick service unless you go around dinner time and get a special order but its normal. Only thing im not happy about is getting in and out of the parking lot, gets pretty tight and not many parking spots available. read more

I was here yesterday and I ordered a pizza which took 20 minutes to get. Unaware that the oven had a "malfunction", I proceeded to give this place a poor rating strictly from a service aspect. Not 24 hours have passed since that post hit that I recieved an e-mail from the GM, Lucian. It's good to know that people do care about us little folk! He offered me a free pizza to make-up for their untimely service which I think is more than generous. Another reason why I'm a Yelp junkie now is because of this experience I shared through Yelp. I'm blown away that a little pizza joint would care enough to extend an apology through Yelp even though it was an honest mishap.
