As a naturally skeptical consumer, I went in fully prepared to walk away if anything felt off or made me uncomfortable. I'll admit, my first appointment didn't leave the strongest impression due to some miscommunication issues. I expressed my concerns to the office, and Dr. Naz personally called me to clarify everything. She made a clear effort to ensure my concerns were addressed, and the issue was resolved. I decided to move forward because, from the start, it was evident that Dr. Naz was exceptionally competent and knowledgeable. Leading up to the procedure, I remained apprehensive and had many questions and concerns. Every single one was acknowledged and addressed--nothing was dismissed or minimized. The treatment plan I received was thoughtful, comprehensive, and, frankly, impressive. Dr. Naz's recommendations stood out from what I'd previously been told by others; instead of the usual "do more, add this, change that" approach, her guidance was measured and, in hindsight, exactly right. (I think sometimes that means Dr. Naz tells people what they don't want to hear....and I can see how it maybe upsetting to some....) The procedure itself was fairly involved, but Dr. Naz and her team truly exceeded my expectations. When I had questions or concerns during the process, Erica (her surgical assistant) was incredibly responsive--always quick to call or text. Both she and Dr. Naz were attentive, kind, and thorough. They listened carefully and made sure I felt supported every step of the way and I so appreciated their care and warmth. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Naz and her team are not only professional and competent--they're exceptional. I always encourage people to do their own research, as I did. But having gone through this process, I feel confident recommending Dr. Naz and her team. I'd absolutely refer my friends and family to her.

There's a small lot right behind her studio, but there's also municipal parking one block away, which is where I parked. Even with the freezing temperatures, it didn't feel like a far walk to go. Her studio is on the bottom floor of a converted house, like many of the shops in old town. It was dark out when I got to the building so the steps leading down were a little difficult to find, but the moment my foot touched the first step, they were flooded with light so I could easily navigate the few steps down to the front entrance. Organic Plum shares space with several other practitioners, but it is well appointed space and not crowded. As this was my first appointment, Lisa took the time to meet with me and discuss my skin care routine, taking care to list any allergies or sensitivities. She didn't rush me to get started on the actual facial, letting me relax and warm up and rehydrate. The treatment room itself was spacious, clean and quiet. I probably could have fallen asleep if a soft knock hadn't announced Lisa's presence. Since I was ready I told her to come in and we got started. I've had quite a few facials in the last few years, but hands down, this was the best I've experienced. The products Lisa uses, all organic, smell good, feel fantastic, and even the next morning my skin still feels fully hydrated as a result of their use. After it was over, we met back in her front office space to chat, and again, I never felt rushed to move on. She offered tea, but I preferred water, which she gladly provided. The price I paid was more than worth it, and far less than I've paid in the past at other establishments. I'm very much looking forward to my next appointment after the holidays.

Here's why I like Bettina and Facial Aesthetics LLC enough to start a yelp page for her: 1. She explains everything that she's doing, so i'm not totally clueless. She also has a friendly personality that makes me feel comfortable asking questions. I've also never felt rushed. 2. Scheduling has been simple and isn't as rigid as other places. I called her and explained that I was trying to start a facial regimen prior to my wedding. While she technically did not have an appointment for 2 weeks, she was clever enough to realize one of her regulars was coming in the following Tuesday and would likely be amenable to coming 20 minutes earlier so she could fit me in. It's hard to get that level of service at larger places. 3. Her prices are really reasonable, and I appreciate she doesn't try to upsell me. She makes recommendations for products, but they are not products she sells. Her overhead is probably pretty low since she is independent, which benefits customers who find her. 4. My skin looks and feels amazing. I haven't had a whitehead since I started going to her a couple months ago and my skin feels really smooth. Others who recommended her to me told me that her methods and equipment are superior. Unfortunately, I have nothing to compare it to, so I cannot comment on that.
