I did pretty extensive homework before going in to see Dr. Naz. Although she was recommended by a respected dermatologist, I still took my time researching honest reviews online and speaking directly with several physicians--dermatologists, anesthesiologists, and others--before deciding to move forward with a consultation. As a naturally skeptical consumer, I went in fully prepared to walk away if anything felt off or made me uncomfortable. I'll admit, my first appointment didn't leave the strongest impression due to some miscommunication issues. I expressed my concerns to the office, and Dr. Naz personally called me to clarify everything. She made a clear effort to ensure my concerns were addressed, and the issue was resolved. I decided to move forward because, from the start, it was evident that Dr. Naz was exceptionally competent and knowledgeable. Leading up to the procedure, I remained apprehensive and had many questions and concerns. Every single one was acknowledged and addressed--nothing was dismissed or minimized. The treatment plan I received was thoughtful, comprehensive, and, frankly, impressive. Dr. Naz's recommendations stood out from what I'd previously been told by others; instead of the usual "do more, add this, change that" approach, her guidance was measured and, in hindsight, exactly right. (I think sometimes that means Dr. Naz tells people what they don't want to hear....and I can see how it maybe upsetting to some....) The procedure itself was fairly involved, but Dr. Naz and her team truly exceeded my expectations. When I had questions or concerns during the process, Erica (her surgical assistant) was incredibly responsive--always quick to call or text. Both she and Dr. Naz were attentive, kind, and thorough. They listened carefully and made sure I felt supported every step of the way and I so appreciated their care and warmth. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I am HORRIFIED by this clinic and this Doctor. DO NOT COME HERE! Especially for botox! They miscommunicated with me COMPLETELY regarding what is covered in my treatment vs what I actually paid for. When I told them about this, they didn't care and just said that was their policy and how they do things. So I left and didn't get treated. I came back and left a bad review because of how poorly they handled things. The Dr. called me only to give me an attitude and begrudgingly agree to take care of the rest of my treatment and basically say that I was in the wrong. I agreed to go back and give them a second chance - however before they were going to treat me, the nurse came in and basically told me to get rid of the bad review (this is the only reason they called me by the way - not because they care about me as a customer, they only wanted me to get rid of the review) and I said okay that is fine and I deleted it right in front of her. Then she came back with a document that she wanted me to sign saying that the Doctor would be DISMISSING ME from her practice after the treatment she was supposedly going to provide. I was disgusted to say the least and did not feel safe for her to do botox on my face at that point and walked out. God knows what she would have done and tried to release her liability from it. She was already so rude to me on the phone instead of trying to understand anything I was saying. I should have known from then not to even consider going back. I started seeing Dr. Naz three years ago and I can honestly say it was one of my better life decisions. I was a few months from my 37th birthday and newly single, and frankly feeling a little tired. Dr. Naz very kindly told me all my skin needed was a little Dysport in my forehead and around my eyes, which I had done a couple years before and hated because my whole forehead fell down--apparently my face is tricky. I trusted her because she's such an excellent eye surgeon, and she put a little here and there and BAM I didn't look a day over 30--with no droopy forehead!! I'm surprised by the negative reviews for the Naz Experience. My interactions with the office and staff have been nothing short of awesome. Dr. Naz early knows her stuff and is a true perfectionist translating to AMAZING results for her clients. Something I always pay attention to when going to a practitioner who does fillers and injections is how the office staff and providers look. Do they look like they have had injections or fillers? Do they have natural appearances or do they look like they've had work done? Dr. Naz and her staff don't look this way at all. You'd never know that anyone who works in this office or Dr. Naz has had work done and that is the biggest testament to me that she knows her stuff. I was drawn to Dr. Naz because of her signature lips. I went for my appointment and felt so comfortable because of her warm personality and her honesty. She never pushed any procedure on me, explained the pros and cons and I didn't feel any pressure to have anything done during my initial consult. She also told me that I didn't need to have anything done, it was only if I wanted it. I chose to go with lip fillers and cheek fillers and was thrilled with the results. Since then, I wanted a more permanent solution and have had a lip lift by Dr. Naz. There were few pictures available online of lip lifts she had done, but the office had sent me some when I requested them. Still, I was so nervous, and when I came out of the lift with a bunch of bruising and swelling it was pretty scary. But, Dr. Naz explained each step of the process and was so helpful in making me feel reassured. The results? AMAZING!! I have no regrets. She does a great job of following up and scheduling post-ops to make sure the healing process is going according to plan. For those reviews frustrated with the time it could take to get a response back from the office, my advice is you are your own advocate. The office is very responsive, but keep in mind they have a lot of people lined up to feel their best by Dr. Naz. I will note that if you work out, tell Dr. Naz this ahead of any botox or Dysport injections. It makes a difference in how long the product lasts. This office is extremely unprofessional. My initial virtual consultation seemed to go well, and she advised me of steps I would need to take to resolve some of the issues caused by my eye issues. She said she would have her staff call me to schedule an in person appointment, no one called. I called her office myself to follow up after working with my derm to address some of the issues we discussed. The person I spoke with didn't have knowledge about a procedure I asked about. She was not sure, advised me to email my question. I did just that and no one responded. Quite the run around for a provider with no image gallery on her page or socials. A little over 5 years ago I had the pleasure of going with my best friend to her first appointment with Dr. Naz. not only was I was blown away by the beautiful work that she did but the energy she brought into the appointment. I found myself feeling totally at peace with the idea of her putting needles in my face; something I never thought I would be able to handle. We started talking about what my concerns were, as someone who was 32 and just starting to see lines in my forehead I certainly was ready to feel a little fresher. So she advised dysport around my forehead and crows feet and we did a lip flip, and it was amazing. When I tell you I never knew how fresh and rested I could feel, not to mention see my lips look a little juicer. As a guy living in LA I had seen plenty of overdone faces and was terrified I would start looking artificial but the opposite was true, I started feeling the most like myself I had ever felt. I was hooked and flew back to DC for the next 3 years to see her. (Now I live in DC so its way easier) Since starting with Dysport and a Lip Flip I now get filler in my lips and have even tried Under Eye filler which was the most incredible addition. I also want to mention I was super nervous about the pain from needles but she was so sweet and patient with me and even recommended a dental block for when she does my lips! People never know I have gotten anything done and regularly comment on the face that I look 10 years younger than I am! All in all I would say that her talent is unmatched and the way that she views your face is like that of an artist. My mom had been wanting to see Dr. Naz since the last time she visited (she's from Indonesia), but she did not get the chance to, due to conflicts with her schedule.
