We nearly didn't use Premia because their Sales rep was so slow in responding; however, they offered a faster close time than Chase or Wells and while their original rate quote was higher than Chase (lower than Wells), Premia met the Chase rate so we gave them a shot. We are SO happy we did. It was the smoothest fulfillment process we've experienced. Our processor kept us informed and really stayed on top of things. We closed on time and hassle free. Normally mortgage sales makes a great impression and the the processing is a huge headache. Premia was the opposite. I would take weak sales and super fulfillment any day. This is our second time using Premia Relocation Services. Our first experience was a breeze and we were exceptionally happy with our mortgage serviced thru Wells Fargo. The second time, although the process was just as easy and the broker Russell was the best in walking us thru the loan process. Premia has now partnered with Stearns Lending, LLC and we were not offered a choice for who held our loan. This is where our disappointment starts. We recently received our first letter from Stearns letting us know when our first payment was due and how much. Included was a notice that while Stearns was our lender, they would not actually be servicing our loan but it would be serviced by a Sub-Lender XYZ company. Having survived the real estate bust as a realtor in 2008 this brings back many bad memories of the collapse. Now after calling to set up automatic bi-monthly payments, which they don't offer, I was completely dissatisfied with the whole process. So much for customer service. As they say LET THE BUYER BEWARE as the end product may not be what us best for you. read more

I was relocating with my company I had to sale our house in Florida and buy a house in our new location. As nature would have it the week I was going to put my house on the market Irma the hurricane decided to come through. This pushed the market out and we missed a small winter window, so our house wasn't selling. I had to make a purchase of a second home which would be cheaper than renting. But I had to close very very very quickly to get my family into new home before Christmas. I call Premia explained my situation and they said they could deliver and have our closing a week before I even thought possible. I started the process on 11/30 we closed 12/15 in two weeks. The builder was the one lagging behind on a house that was considered move in ready. Well I have to say both builder and Premia Relocation Mortgage got our family into our new home ahead of schedule. I am totally impressed. The electronic signing made the process even faster than I have ever experience passing back and forth documents required, super easy. I'm thinking of challenging them again to see if they can beat their previous time line. Kudos to Frank and Russel. They are a shining beacon to your company and represented PRM very well, nothing but top service, and under such high pressure situation for us, they made the most stressful process an ease KUDOS!! While you may get a low rate, and the people are nice, they are ineffective and missed key details throughout the process, ultimately putting our closing at risk and leaving me, the buyer, with additional costs as they notified me of expenses I needed to address after the contingency window closed. It isn't worth your time, go with a lender that has a tighter checks and balances internally. read more

These people are horrible. Terrible communication. Only out to make the sale. Loan officer I spoke with promised so many things, then provided nothing. Then made excuses and tried to blame me the customer for his downfall. Bait and switch company. Charges excessive fees, will not give information needed to make educated decision on whether to bank with them. Keep saying it will work out later. Their MO is to get you far enough in to where its hard for you to cancel with them to go to another lender. Now reading the other reviews, I can only imagine if I continued to follow through with this company, I would not have closed on time. Complete mess. Please stay away. It's not worth the stress. Premia Mortgage has been the most difficult and unorganized mortgage company we have ever worked with. They have missed multiple closing dates, always providing a different excuse. We relocated as part of a government relocation move, and we could not have received worse service. Both real estate agents and lawyers were baffled at the level of incompetence and the length of time it took to complete our closing. Unresponsive, multiple excuses, terrible customer service, and a general lack of knowledge for the entire mortgage process. If you are looking to maximize your most valuable resources: time, money, and general sanity - DO NOT choose Premia! read more

If there were a negative star option, they would definitely receive it. I don't even know where to start on how absolutely terrible this company is. To start, the day before we were supposed to close, we were not sure if we were even closing, and did not find out until we showed up at the closing table.They literally called us four days away from closing, over a holiday weekend and said that if we didn't rush out and get an inspection redone (which the company doing the inspection had never heard of before) or we couldn't close. Meanwhile, the lender had all the inspection reports and the bill for the treatment they were requesting, three weeks prior to this, and yet, couldn't tell us we were missing that inspection before then. Additionally, the lender told us that we were not allowed to be charged for this reinspection fee, because it was not an allowable cost, because of the type of loan we were receiving. The lender specifically told us they would pay for the reinspection fee, with a credit at closing. Lo and behold, at closing the lender put the item on the wrong side of the form, so we then were forced to pay that fee, that we should never have had to have to begin with. Then two days before closing, they decided they needed a signature from one of us, and the paperwork didn't come in until the last part of the day. Then the day before closing, the lender decided that the paperwork we gave them two months beforehand was now, suddenly not sufficient, so we had to scramble to get documents that were no different than the originals we gave them, and they didn't tell us until the closing table whether that would be sufficient. It was nonstop panic-inducing emails for days. But, it didn't stop there, and still hasn;t stopped, when we closed a month and a half ago. We just were informed that our homeowner's insurance was cancelled because our lender did not pay it at closing as they were supposed to, and as discussed in writing and in phone conversations twice. Now, as it turns out, our lawyer was pretty awful too, because noone explained the initials on the HUD statement, and we took for granted that the insurance had been paid, but Nick, with premia was absolutely the worst person to handle this whole transaction. He also took a week to respond to any of our emails, except in the last two days before closing, then suddenly he responded lightning fast, but he was absolutely unprofessional/scattered/disorganized and completely terrible at everything about this transaction. I am livid with this company, to the point that I am actually writing a review. I have never written a poor review before, so I must really be fed up. We were forced to use this company, by the way, since it was part of a relocation, but they are terrible and have the worst customer service and apparently hire very incompetent people. Premia is no doubt the WORST mortgage lender ever. I've never seen a company with such horrible customer service and incompetent employees. I rarely write a review, but these guys made me feel so frustrated that I actually spent an hour to write this, with the hope that other people read and avoid this company and their shady business AT ALL COST. If enough people do the same thing, maybe they'll be out of business soon. I also hope to provide a detailed picture of what would be like if you choose to go with Premia. I had to choose this company because I moved from another country and had no experience with mortgage lenders in US. If you have time, do shop around and stay away from Premia. There seem to be many lenders that offer similar relocation mortgage. I don't know where to start as the entire process was a series of scramble, disorganized, and panic-enduring events. Every single person at Premia I've dealt with is absolutely terribly horrible and incompetent, among them the loan processor Monica and the mortgage consultant are probably the worse. I provided these guys all the documents they requested 2 months before my home closing date and I was careful enough to meet them in person to go through all the documents to make sure nothing is missing, BUT it still took them until 4pm on the closing date to send us the final approval docs, even though our closing time was 9am. They kept assuring me that I wouldn't jeopardize my home closing, but 24 hours before our closing, they still worked on my mortgage insurance and verifying my Social Security Number, something they could have done long before. Part of this delay was definitely caused by them as the loan processor Monica entered my SSN on the verification form incorrectly 3 times (Yes THREE TIMES) even though she made a copy of my SSN card by herself when I came over and handed her my SSN card. Each time, it took her between 3 days to a week to send me the corrected form and without any apology as if I was bothering her too much. Moreover, only a few days before closing, they suddenly decided that they wanted to see my bank account balance 3 months before. In order to get the bank documents for them, I had to make an emergency trip back to Canada and came to US on the same day to scan the docs and send them to Premia. What I feel completely baffled is even during these last couple of days with everything scramble, these guys never felt rushed at all. They always process the documents at their own pace as if it was not their job to make sure the closing happen on time. To make the matter worse, only 2 days before my closing, Monica and her manager suddenly disappeared and didn't even let any of us know in advance about their absence and who would be handling our case. My agent and I were in panic mode when seeing that they didn't reply our emails or answer our calls and had to escalate the issue, at that time their VP jumped in to help just 24 hours before the closing. That's not all as the worse it what was happening at the closing table. Even though they kept promising to send us the final approval docs the day before the closing, they continuously missed their own deadlines several times and we didn't receive the final approval docs the day before the closing. Note that the laws require the final approval docs be released at least 3 days before the closing. Knowing that the closing could not happen at 9am the next day as we planned, my agent called the seller's agent to extend the closing time to the afternoon without any guarantee that our mortgage would be approved by then. On the morning the next day, I was really panic when seeing no approval docs coming from Premia yet. My agent made countless of phone calls to them in the morning and decided that we should come to the closing table and wait for their update. It wasn't until 4pm that they final provided an update that our loan had been approved. Everyone was stressful, frustrated, and exhausted. The seller was bursting into tear and fearing for her own home closing for which she had been supposed to move in the same afternoon. Of course the seller was unable to move and we had to give her an extra day for her to move out due to the late closing. We, therefore, had to sacrifice our own moving because of this. I've never been through such a panic and stressful process in my life. Of course Premia didn't care as they sold our mortgage loan right on the closing table. read more

I had an awesome experience with Premia. I was in constant contact with the underwriter and loan officer. We were able to communicate via email, which was very convenient for me. Everything went smooth through the application process, inspections and closing. They worked with my realtor very closely so we were all in the loop. They answered all my questions along the way, and were upfront about everything.. They even helped me with the power of attorney documentation I needed since my husband was deployed. I got the best rate, and they handled my VA loan perfectly. There were no surprises. I would definitely recommend them! read more

I will say that their style of communication may not be as thorough as some of their competitors but they were always very responsive and took all necessary actions to ensure a smooth transaction. Worst company ever. Incompetent, disorganized and totally unresponsive. Attorneys, real estate agents and others stated they have never seen such incompentency. They held the closed up for three days over $50 worth of repairs which included adding a stopper in a backroom sink. No one involved in this recent relocation would ever recommend them or the relocation company that recommended Premia. They could have totally caused my family members to lose that house. If that had happened, it would have been a huge lawsuite for Premia and I'm not so sure they still are not considering it. read more

These guys are the real deal! I saw their name on our company website, even though I was not relocating, I called their toll free number to ask if they could help me with refinancing and they said yes. The loan officer that I spoke with was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She provided me a very competitive rate (better than some of the bigger banks that I have seen) along with reduced lender fees. Once I went into process, the loan processor provided me clear instructions on what documentation that I need to provide for underwriting review. She also was very knowledgeable kept me informed every step of they way and even was able to close my loan sooner than I anticipated! By far, this was the best experience I have had with a mortgage company. If you are looking to purchase or refinance, call Premia Relocation Mortgage! These guys are the best! read more

We went with Premia because they had a slightly lower rate. I am regretting that decision in the extreme now. Our loan processor has been clueless, seemingly not even reading the emails I send him before he responds. That was our first indication that things may not go smoothly. Now we are less than a week prior to closing, and they are springing on us SEVERAL items, saying that repairs must be done by licensed contractors, specialists, etc. or we can't close. They claim all of these are in the name of "safety", despite the companies who gave us the original estimates after the inspection telling them otherwise. Some of these "safety" repairs are purely aesthetic (for example, we must put an insert in the fireplace). It is not for safety, it is all for THEIR benefit so they can sell the loan quickly after they close with us! DO NOT go with Premia mortgage if you want a smooth closing where you can decide for yourself the improvements you want to make to the home after you buy!!! read more
