Location is really easy to get to, right off the freeway and a few minutes driving through a cute downtown-ish looking area. Coffee shops to the right and a bar to the left! So no matter the time of day you go, ladies you can grab a drink next door while waiting. Price is competitive as with any barbershop out there. Remember you're paying for quality haircuts. I've been here 2 separate times now with 2 different barbers ( Gabe and Ruby) Both times my hair is not cut how I asked. Tonight I had an appointment for 5:15 and waited an hour for my haircut, Gabe was cutting the same person this whole time. By 6:15 I'm finally sitting, didn't leave until about 7:15. 2 hours of my evening and $50 wasted for a haircut I didn't ask for. I don't ask for anything crazy for my hair, other barber have told me it's easy and simple. So why they can't get it right here I don't get it, and why offer appointments if you can't get remotely close on your time? I want a refund more than anything, I can't get back my time wasted. Will never be back here again and will tell others to AVOID THIS PLACE. UPDATE - David was also there next to Gabe. David was talking with Gabe about how he went to a Mexican restaurant and had a mojito with alot of tequila and shouldn't drive home. But somehow he was fine to cut another persons hair before this. Dropped in on this place because I needed a haircut. I called another establishment that happens to be on R St. to make an appointment and they were really rude. So I got back on Yelp and found this spot. Rode down, walked in and was welcomed right away by Rico, who was busy with a client. He asked me what I was looking for, offered me a cold beer and told me to have a seat. There were two other barbers working and I had to wait for a few. No problem. It was a short wait but entertaining as everyone was talking to each other and having a good time. I got Griffin when he freed up. I sat in his chair, we went over the work and he got started. Mind you, although he is pretty new to the craft, he was very attentive, detailed, asked me how it was going, etc. He's got a good personality, and even asked Rico for some advice on getting my cut closer. I thought that showed confidence in his ability and desire to do it right. In the end, the cut was great, the staff is cool and even the clients who were there were engaging. I'll be back and this will be my new spot, as I'm new to the area and want to support this new family business. I strongly suggest you check it out. Gabe cut his hair and left half a sideburn on one side and shaved the other. it was supposed to be a fade but it looked more like the sides of a flat top.
