He fixed my most MESSED up pixie cut and did it while being reassuring...and hot. Rod Thompson is hot. The shop is possibly thee coolest ambiance. The cleanest...most inviting. I originally booked with him in Folsom because I needed a last minute appointment and he did a great job. When he moved to Iverson's a few years ago, I decided to follow him. Nic will listen to you, give you advice/feedback on what he can do, and give you an excellent haircut. It was my first haircut during the covid19 pandemic! My lovely wife has been cutting my hair for the last 3 months which I am greatly thankful for!! I usually get my fade at my neighborhood salon but it's still closed so I yelped Barber shops and came across Iverson's! It had a great reviews so I wanted to give it a shot! First off, parking is either street or the parking garage! If you come on a weekday morning, it's Less busy! At the moment they are taking appointments only but when the pandemic improves, walk ins are welcome! Inside is extremely clean and has a cool laid back vibe when you walk in! Iverson's has been here since 2017! The owner has 3 barber shops including barber blues in Roseville! Kevin was the one who took care off me today and he was a real cool dude! He's extremely professional, friendly and easy to talk too! He makes your haircut more enjoyable! Kevin did a high fade with texturing my top! He then did the cool shave with the razor to taper towards the end! Overall, it was a clean fade and I would return! Due to the pandemic, Iverson's employees take precautions by wearing masks (customers are required to wear masks too) and keeping stations clean! They wash their hands very often as well! I've been going to see Ryan for well over a year between Iverson's and Barber Blues. Ryan is a fantastic barber and is really meticulous about his cuts. Him and I have built a great relationship as he's easy to talk to and always takes great care of me when I'm there. I usually go weekday mornings when it's just Ryan and Kevin in the shop and these two are pros. I love spending time with the two hearing stories from Kevin between his clients. I think every man should be able to treat themselves to something like this. I had a signature shave with Kevin today and it was fantastic! Kevin was very friendly and informative: he made sure I was comfortable and relaxed and would explain to me what he was doing and why, which I appreciated greatly. A face massage, hot towels, a shave in two directions, clay mask, and cold towel all come together to make for a wonderful experience. I even got a quick neck stretch which felt great. This shop is definitely a 5 Star shop. My girlfriend made an appointment for me as a Father's Day present. I have never been to a shop like this before. I had no idea what to expect. My girlfriend booked the appointment with Kevin. The second I sat down in the chair Kevin made me feel very comfortable. I explained to him I had no idea what to do that I have never really done anything like this, I just went to local barbershops or did it myself. He went into full detail what he thought I should do and went to work. We talked while he was doing everything and he explained to me what he was going to do next.
