Jordan was amazing, friendly, and listened to every single small detail I had requested for my fiancé's haircut, which was a modern mullet. His customer service was above and beyond! I appreciate how he would ask either myself or my fiancé on the look and took note on the small changes we wanted done. He definitely took his time with the service (so ladies drop off your man and go get your nails done) ensuring every small detail was perfect. He also trimmed/shaped my fiancé's mustache/beard which turned out amazing ! Highly recommended and we'll be returning customers. read more

My 3 boys were cut by Keith. They are 10,6 and 20 months & he got them all done in 1 hours time. My life schedule is hectic so it's important for me to make an appointment and for barber to honor that time. We walked in 1 minutes before our Appt and within the minute Keith was ready for them. All three boys look amazing (of course I'm their mom) and they did great with Keith. Even the 20 month old sat still the entire time. Which is sometimes hard but Keith had the magic touch. Place is a great size and the logistics of the shop is good for all ages. Not a whole bunch of cross taking from the barbers (which I like) and music not to loud where you can't hear yourself think. A friend referred me to this place and I've seen it before when it was in another location. They know I'm all about good customer service and convenience. So I made an appointment online 03/09/18, super easy. I walked in the next morning about two minutes late and the barber, JG, was already expecting me. He greeted me when I walked in and asked what we were doing today. The cut was what I wanted, no complaints. It was even cheaper than I thought, so I'm good with their prices. I'm not one to talk much in the chair, so the barber having conversation with other barbers/customers or talking on the phone is cool. Awkward silence is awkward...JG was cool and professional, so I'd recommend him. read more

The barber I went to had no fucking clue how to style my hair. Even when I said I wanted something between a half undercut and a side part. He basically just gave me some kind of flat-top mohawk-ish kind of style. The first thing a relative asked me is if I had cut my hair myself. If you just care about your sides/back being cut and don't give a flying fuck about the style of the top then by all means--go to Cece's. The issue I'm having is that I saw some kids getting better cut hair next to me. Not to be racist but I'm guessing that more afros get cut here than non-black hair which is obviously treated differently. I don't know what my barber was thinking but at least I can fix it in 3 weeks when I have the money to do that. read more

Words cannot express how mad I am right now.. my hair is eff'd up. I got Kieth as my barber and this was my first time here. He kept fist bumping other people that walked by while cutting my hair increasing my chances of covid exposure. he also non stopped yelled and talked to the other barber across the room having a long conversation disregarding that he's literally yelling in my ear. Now let's get to the actual haircut itself. I rate it a 1 out of 5 stars. I have a WIDE uneven hard part on my head looking like a bald spot. My ears and face are covered with hair and he didn't even offer to put gel in my hair while the other people who got their hair cut from other barbers had gel in theirs, I had to go home and put gel myself to see if everything looked good but it didn't. I looked like I just got out of bed and rolled around in hair. The line up on the sides are UNEVEN. All he did was cut the sides of my head even when I asked for a comb over. He didn't touch the top or offer to touch the top. I literally wanted to tell him to please stop yelling and focus on my hair but I didn't want any trouble so after he took my cape off I paid him $40, told him to keep the change and left. Good spot for a haircut. Nothing fancy, just a bunch of barbers shooting the shit about whatever is on ESPN and doling out solid fades for a competitive price. Haircut will set you back a few more bucks than supercuts but will take much longer and be a better cut. I have fine, blonde, strait hair with a weird double cowlick and they always give me the kind of low maintenance wash-and-wear cut I like. The wait for walk-ins can be long so either call ahead or go at a slow time if you don't have an appointment. read more

Just got off work and most barber shops are either closed or "booked" like barber boo hoo and jimboy's storage.. Even though they both advertise they "take walk ins" Not this place, even though all chairs were seated and people were waiting.. They had me in a chair in less than 30mins!? 3 stars just for living up to your posted and advertised signs. In almost all other barber shops the front chair has the worst of them up front. So mind you, I was a bit nervous when this guy was cutting my hair. Keith, sorry for ever doubting you. My fade is so clean, I could wear my joggers and stained shirt to the bar right now and still look fresh. Despite what others says that "more Afros get cut here than non-black hair" I am Asian, with straight and fine hair. So if you're like that person below with tangled, frizzy, scraggly hair save your pennies and take yourself to a salon. Generally I'm a quiet person with a F-U on my forehead but yet they welcomed me just fine. You wouldn't walk into a restaurant and sit in the waiting area hoping to get served. Closed mouths don't get fed. Five stars fellas and ma'm and the kid who was quick to sweep up hair. read more

The guys in there are younger so you definitely get a barber shop experience, but they are always respectful when kids are present. read more

Did a walk-in with my son a few weeks ago. It was a little busy, with every seat filled. Every barber looked at us when we walked in, also I assume the two owners did as well. Not a single word was said. We sat down and waited for a few minutes. I wasn't sure who to speak to to ask about service. I usually take him to Axis Barbershop on Northgate (HIGHLY recommend), but his barber was booked and he needed a cut asap. Like the other Yelper said, rude, customer service non-existent. I have a bunch of friends who run shops in the Bay and if this shop was down there, it wouldn't last due to the lack of customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else. We sat there for ten minutes, saw a few chairs free up and still nothing. Those chairs stayed empty too. read more

As much as I want to support business in my area I travel to antelope to get my sons cut. These barbers are over priced, rude, and take forever because they want to have full convos while cutting hair. 45 minutes to cut a fade. My son was cut one too many times so I stopped going. When you walk in the door they act like they don't wanna cut hair. I miss Bay Area hospitality. Where a brown little boy could look forward to going to see his barber. First time here after seeing this place for the past year. I always cut my own hair and fade and decided not to anymore. Walked in and was greeted, asked if I had an appt (I didn't) was seated within a minute. I believe I was cut by Josh or Chris, forget his name but he faded me really good! Although they don't accept card payments I was able to get cash at the ATM across the way at the liquor store. Paid what I owed and a nice tip in appreciation to a well done fade and hard part cut. We speak for the other barbers, but the person who attended me did not do what I asked, and also I do not finish, I do not use the barbera as I should at the end of the cut, the marking, apparently I was just thinking about finishing fast and taking a new turn . I also charge the total of the cut and I had to go to be finished in another place ... hopefully improve the service and take it into account. read more

I take my son her. I raise him to be a respectable young man. He's 8. First time in, all the barbers were overly comfortable with loudly using highly inappropriate words in their regular conversation. Please excuse me but the specific words were "niggas", "trick", "p#ssy", sh%t, ass,hoe, b-word, and more. This language is used around the little boys and girls. This is stomach turning and disrespectful. This happened each time we tried them. I thought maybe I caught the wrong day but it occurred all 4 times. I know men in barber shops talk and the conversations include talking about woman but this was a whole new level. I look at one barber as he referred to women as bitches and tricks, he gave me a dirty look. This last time, they had women on the tv twerking in little to no clothes to inappropriate music. My 8 year old son actually asked me mommy can we please find another barber shop. Little did he know, I had already planned not to return!! This is sad. I asked them once if they can lighten their language as children, little girls are in here. Especially saying p#ssy around little girls. While given a shoulder shrug, i was told, "it is what it is, ya-mean". Not a place for women, definitely not a place for children, and not a place for real respectable men. No lie, "nigga" was used about 15 times, "hoe" and "trick" about 4 times, "sh%t" wad used about 18 times all in 30 minutes. Each time a barber spoke at least 2 or 3 of these words were used loudly with all the children. DISGUSTING!! I cringed each time!! They ought to be ashamed but NO, they were comfortable with doing it and just didn't care. I'd love to support local businesses in my area but I am willing to add an extra 30 minutes to my commute and pay an extra $20 to get my gionna hair cut to avoid this place. read more

Very rude as soon as we walked in they looked at us and started looking at each other and chuckling at each other because we were females I suppose. we told them we wanted the side of our heads shaved lined up and designed then the first thing the barber said was raiders? (Because I was wearing a raiders sweater )Rolled his eyes and continue to cut someone else's hair then told us to wait until 1 PM after we had just called and they had said they excepted walk in .
