Instead, it turned into an all-day outage, leaving my business with no internet and no phone service. As a business owner, that means I couldn't operate, serve customers, or conduct business. This has caused a significant financial loss. The most frustrating part is that this wasn't an emergency--it was planned. Whoever decided to perform this maintenance during business hours showed a complete lack of consideration for businesses that depend on their services. There are 16 other hours in the day when this work could have been done with far less impact. I also spoke with Kim, a supervisor, regarding Work Order #685702. Rather than showing any concern or empathy for the financial hardship this outage caused, she was condescending and dismissive. It was clear she had no interest in helping or taking ownership of the situation. Comcast's poor planning, lack of communication, and disregard for its business customers are unacceptable. I will be requesting compensation for the revenue my business lost because of this preventable outage. After this experience, I'll be seriously looking into switching providers. If Verizon can provide more reliable service and treat its business customers with greater respect, they'll be getting my business instead.

This is probably the single most impressive customer service turnaround I have ever experienced in my 30 years on this earth.
