Bill responded within 30 minutes of me reaching out and had his foreman, Fred, come out that same evening. After taking some simple measurements and discussing the vision we had, we received our estimate that same evening. That same evening, we had a second contractor come out who came in $400 more and did not include any planting. Bill and Fred agreed not only to lay rock but also plant succulents for $400 less than the other contractor. Fred was very communicative throughout the entire experience. On Friday he texted throughout the day, sending pictures of the rock and succulents to make sure we absolutely loved what was being installed. I can't say enough about how reassuring Bill's team was throughout the process. We received our estimate on Thursday, they started Saturday morning, and the project was completed by Saturday evening. Fred even went above and beyond by retuning the irrigation system to suit the new vegetation. Overall, So Cal Artificial Turf went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. They did pull the permits thru my city, they completed the job in 2 days but when the inspector came they were written up for a bunch of stuff. They told me they would come back and fix it so it can pass inspection well they never came back and I only heard from them thru email for payment. Patio looks good I will just probably have to tear it down once I need anything else done to my house. Oh I was never able to tell them once it started raining I did have leaks but those at that point were the least of my worries. This was in 2022 here we are 2026 and yeah they definitely forgot about me.

The morning of the start of the project, Alex came to go over the project with my husband to make sure they were both understanding of the work that was to be done. My husband was concerned about a drain pipe next to where the cement would be poured, and was worried about it being damaged during the dirt removal. After the dirt was removed, Alex ran water down the drain to show us that the pipe was undamaged. He listened to my husband and made sure to pour the cement a couple inches from the drain pipe, so there was no chance of any damage. Alex was also very flexible with scheduling. He was able to reschedule the cement pour day on short notice, so that my husband would be home on that day. Alex and his crew arrived on time, which I appreciate. I've had a lot of work done in the past, and it always upsets me when contractors are late. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned meticulously to ensure the work area was clear of dirt and debris. Alex and his crew were always respectful of our property. The price was very reasonable, and I had received more than 8 bids. Alex is honest, a good communicator, and his crew are hardworking and punctual. I'd highly recommend giving Alex a call.

They planted all the new plants and set up irrigation. We have a small back area it's more of a big patio and small front yard but with his attention to detail it came out nice. Alex was so kind I'm sad we won't be seeing him in our home anymore his presence felt like family. He was very flexible and bouncing ideas off his was helpful. They always cleaned up after themselves after each visit and were always respectful. Unfortunately our HOA took forever to approve our job from the original estimate so it took a minute to get back on his schedule.
