Only positive vibes. Because let's face it now in days everywhere you go, office staff's don't have filters. Really wanted to like this dental office. Scheduled a dental cleaning and was able to be seen within a week or two in the afternoon, which helped because of work hours. The front desk staff, dental assistant, and the hygienist were friendly and helpful at answering my questions/concerns, and did a great job overall. The dentist came in for a consult and explained that one of my teeth was most likely in need of a crown, and went through the relevant treatment plan which would include an all porcelain/ceramic crown. The team provided me with a quote, where my Delta Dental PPO insurance covered 60%, but it looked to be double what I had paid in the past upon closer review. Gave them a call to understand the charges, since the procedure code was not for a full porcelain/ceramic crown, despite them insisting that it was, but included high noble metal. The dentist had also shared that their crowns were done in house, but was being charged a lab fee of $439 that was not covered by insurance. All in all, the amount being charged was not including insurance coverage of 60% or 50%, nor did it add up. Once I pointed out that the procedure code was in fact not for an all porcelain/ceramic crown, the billing staff didn't have an answer. To my surprise, she pointed out that my last dentist actually billed a gold crown (despite using the same strategy of saying and quoting that it would be all porcelain/ceramic). All in all, still looking for a trustworthy dentist. Thumbs down. :( read more

I appreciate their friendly service with a smile, and the follow up post cards and phone calls to warn you about upcoming appointments. They take most insurance, they also accept credit cards, debit cards, and flex spending cards. They are able to perform minor surgeries, they removed my wisdom teeth. They were able to get me a night guard. And they were able to give me a good referral for a dentist that could perform a root canal. Great, professional experience every time. They are fast and efficient and concerned about patient welfare. Dr. Saadatmandi is very cordial and uses the latest technology to speed every aspect along. (X-rays are digital and are done right in the exam chair) I love that they are very accommodating- I brought my little one with me for a check-up and one of the dental assistants was happy to sit with her for a few minutes while I got x-rays. I also appreciate that they are not pushing optional services or trying to upsell patients. Additionally, they do not use the smile generator system that forces clients to sign digital documents without having the opportunity to read it (see my other reviews for the other dentists that use this). I thought this would be a good dental office based on the reviews but my experience has been horrible. I can't even get in to see them for an actual cleaning and they treated me very poorly. My dentist and my doctor sent them all of the paperwork they asked for and they can't seem to find it. Very unhappy and I will be looking for another new dentist office in my area. read more

I started out very happy with the service and care but they no longer take the time to communicate with my insurance about my coverage so they send me the extra bills. I tried to tell them nicely that I would be changing dentists and all they did was try to tell me I was wrong about each of my reasons. I don't like being lied to either. My insurance doesn't set his prices which is why they give each dentist a score based on pricing. The receptionist called the dentist at home, I still don't know why that was necessary. I recieved a bill for $31 that suddenly turned into $131 with no explanation at all. That is when i started comparing prices and wow i have over paid here. read more

He reviewed the intraoral pictures and xrays, took the time to answer my questions and ensured I was comfortable during my procedure, given I have severe anxiety with any dental work. I have been going to this dentist for over 5 years but will now be looking for a new one. Went in for my cleaning, when I was done I proceed to book my next appointment and was told it was going to be 52 dollars. I asked why I had to pay since I have never had to pay before. The receptionist tells me that it has always been like that. Unfortunetly I was in a hurry to get back to work so I paid. So, I called my insurance to make sure nothing had changed on my end and it all seemed the same. I called the dentist office back and now she tells me that the charge was due to me missing an appointment and the other 27 dollars because I got a "different" cleaning. None of it makes sense to me. If I missed an appointment and need to pay, I will own it and pay. The fact that I was lied to, and my card was charged is the reason I will never return. read more

He truly took his time to explain me all the treatment the I needed as well as all the options that he had available. Do not go to this dentist. I go to the dentist every 6 months to get my teeth cleaned and I never have anything wrong with my teeth. They said I needed a deep clean which is not fully covered by insurance. The dentist and receptionist were very pushy and rude saying to go to another dentist but this so called "infection" needed to be treated immediately. Do not waste your time here and be mistreated as I was! I went to a different dentist and just as I suspected I was misdiagnosed. I cannot begin to explain how disrespected and uncomfortable I felt in this office. Seriously do not go here! read more

What a wonderful experience! I found Premier Dental Arts because they were at my city's health fair; I met the hygienist and office manager. Though I already have a primary dentist, I'd never had in-office whitening done before and they offer the treatment; I've never done office whitening and was curious. Their office is located in a nice location around other small offices. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the front and desk and asked to fill out the standard forms. The wait was quick and I was seen at my appointment time. The whitening itself is not the most comfortable - but the results are phenomenal and instant and you get to watch a TV while the whitening is being done. They did a small protective coating to protect my gums from sensitivity because I had mentioned that using whitening strips would cause me a bit of aching afterwards. I only did one round of the whitening treatment (they offer two if you'd like aggressive results) but I obtained the shade I wanted with one round. Dr. Hoss saw me afterward to chat. We discussed Invisalign options and I asked him questions regarding future appointments and what other procedures they offered in case I wanted to switch to a closer dentist. I would definitely recommend this office. The staff is courteous, fast, and bedside manners are amazing. I felt comfortable with the staff and at ease. read more

I have a TON of fear with the dentist. After avoiding going in for a while I went to see Dr. Hoss and I really should of came sooner. He and his staff were PHENOMENAL. The check in process was smooth, they took my insurance and were competent in explaining any fees for services based on my insurance. I was aware of what to expect BEFORE going back and seeing the doctor. This is really helpful considering most dentists offices will have no idea what they are doing. Dr. Hoss was extremely gentle. Constantly asking if I was comfortable, if I was I pain, if I needed anything or if I had any questions. He was very knowledgeable in what I came in for. And the best part- I got my crown the SAME DAY. No temporary crown, no having to come back and missing more work. It was super convenient. Many dentists I talked to said they would have to do a temp and I would need to come back, I was very happy to find out that this was not the case. Great place. Great dentist. Great processes in place - it appears to me. Have done a great job staffing. (hard to find competent people these days.) Beautiful office, well designed, decorated, clean and (to my limited knowledge - great equipment). (Keep in mind - my experience is limited - no major procedures done at this point - just typical 6 month visits, cleaning, x-rays.) The only reason I am not giving a "5" star is I felt I was misled on pricing. I knew I was coming in on a special first visit price - but I specifically discussed ongoing pricing, as I am looking for a long term relationship, and was shocked by the price of visit #3. Just make sure you get don't just have a conversation, but take notes and share those notes with them so you're all on the same page. Now I am in a quandary as I like this practice. I found Premier Dental Arts through google and read reviews here on Yelp. Because of the great reviews I decided to give them a try. I went in for some pain in a molar :( . I met Dr. Hoss and he was great! He always makes me laugh and feel so comfortable. He always takes the time to listen to me and make sure I am satisfied with the work he does. I am a huge baby when it comes time to get the dental block and he always does a good job at making me feel ok. This is the first dentist I have ever been to, and there have been many.... Came to this office last week for a second opinion. I was referred to Dr. Hoss from my co-worker. I checked in and was quickly taken back where I had some x-rays taken. I was seen by Dr. Hoss a few minutes later. Their office was so efficient and didn't make me wait! I actually didn't mind waiting because each treatment chair has its own tv in front of you and you can pick a dvd to watch. I picked Hitch. Anyhow, Dr. Hoss went over my x-rays with me and actually showed me what was going on and why I needed the work that I did. The previous dentist just told me what I needed but didn't really explain why. I scheduled the work to be done a few days later and couldn't be more pleased. He's gentle but efficient. Very disappointed. I called to book an appointment for a cleaning and the scheduler informed me that they were running a special on x-rays and checkups. So I booked it specifying that I needed a cleaning. I usually get a cleaning twice a year but it had been over a year so I knew I might need more work than normal. I arrived to my appointment 10 min early to do paperwork. I checked that I was going to get a cleaning and the receptionist informed me that the dentist would do it "if there was time". Since that is what I specifically called and scheduled for, I was surprised that she said this but not deterred. I was the first appointment of the day so I assumed I would be in and out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I sat alone in the waiting room listening to who I came to realize was the dentist flirt with the receptionist for 20 minutes. No one talked to me or told me why I was waiting when I was obviously the first one there and all the employees were just standing around and chatting. Finally they brought me back and said that their x-ray machine was down and that was why there was a delay. Fine, whatever. Not their fault. The "dentist" (I assume he was the dentist) came in and sat down without introducing himself. He didn't ask me when my last dental checkup was or my last set of x-rays. After a quick exam (no x-rays, I was told I needed to come back for those), he proceeded to "clean" my teeth. Never in my life have I had such pain from a dental visit! He spent 2 min chiseling at my teeth and gums while I winced in pain. The hygienist kept making me gag with her hands in my mouth as well. The whole thing felt very rough and painful! I know it had been a year since my last cleaning, but I have gone that long before and never felt this man-handled. Afterward, they ended up charging me more than the original "deal" amount but I was just eager to leave. Now, several hours later, my teeth feel less clean than when I went in. I think I am going to have to schedule another cleaning just to feel like I had a real exam from a real dentist! read more

Let me start by saying if 0 stars was possible it would be 0 stars. Sharing custody of a couple of little boys, dad took them to this office. I requested a second opinion so that I could take them to a PEDIATRIC dentist because PDA recommended 9 total cavities filled between the 2 of them in baby teeth! Long story short, when I went into the office to retrieve (what turned out to be incomplete) x-rays for the 2nd opinion, the staff behaved extremely RUDE and unprofessional. Not quite understanding the attitude, I took the x-rays and ran....a figure of speech of course, I walked out cooly :) When the pediatric results of the 2nd opinion came back discrepant, I contacted the PDA office to request they hold off doing any work so that dad and I could work out a resolution. The staff was SO RUDE and dare I say acted like total *******, I realized they had been influenced by an overly friendly relationship with dad and stepmother. So much so, that it came down to, according to dad, staff at PDA calling stepmother to tell her I had been HARASSING them! After 2 phone calls regarding a 2nd opinion! When I called PDA to ask WTF, in kinder words, the front office girl (not lady, by any means) confirmed that she had called to tell stepmother I was HARASSING THEM (among other things) and then she cut me off and connected me directly to Dr. Hoss himself. He seemed like a nice enough guy, he acted respectful and apologized for that ridiculous expression of biased unprofessionalism by his staff. I actually liked Dr. Hoss after speaking to him. His front office staff, on the other hand, needs to take a few lessons on customer service and learn some respect, ethics and professionalism, and maybe avoid getting personally involved and offensive with patients/parents they will likely see in the future. As it turns out, my kids told me they went to ANOTHER dentist appointment, I don't know to who, but this 3rd one called for only 3 (instead of 4) cavities to be filled in the older child and 0 (instead of 5!) in the younger one. My thought is, either Dr. Hoss reconsidered, like a good doctor, referring to a pediatric dentist where they had the appropriate exam and x-rays done. Or he listened to me and changed his recommendations and treated accordingly. Either way, I appreciate it. I would NEVER recommend this office, and I will tell of my experience with the front staff any time I get a chance to. UPDATE: I like Dr. Hoss. We have talked since the posting of this review. He did the right thing by referring to a pediatric dentist. He apologized again for his staff and I accepted. I still find this review important for other patrons of his office to be on guard with his staff. read more
