The location was unbeatable since everything we had planned was on Santana Row. Restaurants, shopping, Westfield Valley Fair, and the Winchester Mystery House were all within easy walking distance. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the property was beautiful, and the complimentary sangria at check-in was a nice touch. The bed was also one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Just be aware that this is an upscale hotel with upscale fees. Early check-in before 10 am is $100, early check-in by 1 pm is $60, and valet parking is $60 per day with in-and-out privileges. We arrived around 9:30 am but decided to wait until check-in since the early check-in fee wasn't worth it for us. We came back around 2 pm and were pleasantly surprised they checked us in at no extra charge. We also skipped valet and parked in one of the nearby garages for about $15 per day. We'd definitely stay here again and next time book a longer stay to enjoy it even more.

GlassHouse is a beautiful venue with a modern feel that allows one to plan for a great event. But all of that comes with a cost. Dealing with the management who run the place will make your planning a nightmare. My wife and I very recently got married at the GlassHouse. It ended up being a beautiful event and a wonderful party. However what should have been smooth planning turned out not to be due to new management coming in. They caused unwarranted stress, charged additional excessive costs, and ultimately were not pleasant to work with. Right before our wedding, it felt as if they were trying to make it unsuccessful by their actions. We will never forget our wedding. It was a memorable and a once in a lifetime event. Also a once in a lifetime event, and never to happen again, is booking an event with GlassHouse.

We were given permission to leave items used to decorate the hall so that they could be picked up on Monday (event was on Saturday). The hall was left clean (paid someone to clean the hall) and left secure, but when we went back on Monday, to pick up the lingering items, we realized someone with access to the facility (someone who also had keys to get into the premises) had stolen the items. I reviewed the contract my wife signed and this location is not liable based on all the terms, but it would have been appreciated if they had told us that other folks would be entering the facility while our items where in there. The President of the facility contacted me to essentially tell me he was not refunding anything back and stated I "had about 10 seconds left before he hung up", so I did instead. It amazes me how someone (who represents such a place) opted to be this way instead of trying to work something out. We will do our best to tell everyone about our HORRIBLE experience with this place.
