Lots of things...the rental car lot is 30 feet away, we were the only ones going through TSA, and everyone working here is on a chill time line. Also they have a "bar" that you order drinks, pay for water, chips all in one. I would give this airport 5 starts however...the hot dogs looked like they were rolling around for a while. Also where is the imitation cheese pump to throw on that err...hot dog? Also no charging stations unless I walk from gate 3 to 5, I'm tired to walk that 50 feet. :)

Even though everything had been properly approved in advance -- tickets purchased and authorization granted to travel with my 5 cats (for 2 passengers) -- I was suddenly told by the attendant, Misung, that I could only bring two bags. There was no clear explanation or attempt to resolve the issue. It honestly left me wondering: was I expected to leave one of my animals behind at the airport? What was even worse was the complete lack of professionalism. In addition to her dismissive attitude, she and another attendant were seen laughing about the situation, as shown in the video. It was public, unnecessary, and deeply humiliating. This is a paid service, and basic respect and professionalism should be the minimum standard which was clearly not the case. I am sharing this video to document what happened and to warn others. Situations like this should not be normalized

But I still prefer Oakland's and/or Reno, NV's airport. It felt like we were the only flight that arrived (again), so all hundred of us got through customs quickly. The agents were very quick. Ambiance - A huge location. But SFO is one of the busier airports in the US. I watched you grow from a much smaller location to this. Parking is now very far; you must take a shuttle. Short term hourly parking is $4 for every 30 minutes. $38 maximum. Long term parking = $24 a day. 187 businesses in the airport. 85 of which are dining; 82 shopping, 20 relaxation, etc. 10 gate areas. SFO also has a museum, sky terrace, a kids' spot, lounges, USO, Grand Hyatt, etc. Service - Agents were quick. They did not talk much, which is more than okay with me. Price - We flew French Bee, sorry, I can NOT recommend it. $600 per person with NO frills or anything... Think Spirit airlines, may they rest in peace. Sales tax collected in SFO supports San Mateo county, where this airport is actually physically located. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1927. The City/County of San Mateo has an agreement with SF/SFO on the management of this airport. See their website.

When I had to get on my return flight to LA, I arrived two hours before my flight. The terminal door was locked. While I had to call the airline to unlock the door, I feel this shouldn't be the case. There wasn't any beverages or food places attached to the terminal either. Also, while not the fault of the airport, having your flight delayed here is the worst since there's much to do keep you entertained less your electronic devices are completely charged

I was traveling by boutique air from Merced to Los Angeles and checked into this one. My experience was sort of balanced. There wasn't a wait everything was very smooth from check-in, to security (which is basically one small scanner), to get on my flight there weren't any problems. There was even a small table for me to get some work done while I was waiting. However, there aren't any restrooms in the room after you get past security. Additionally, when I used the restrooms they had, there wasn't any paper to wipe my hands after washing, so I had to use the toilet paper. Overall, this airport is really convenient for me and its services aren't too bad and definitely remind me that not all airports are super crazy busy international ones.

Free drinks included coffee, tea, and soda and there was a carafe of water and of lemonade and one of cranberry juice. Free alcoholic drinks consisted of red and white wine. The DOWN SIDE was that less than half of the power outlets worked and some of those that did work the plugs were so worn out that my power plug literally fell out of the outlet. Anyways 4 star experience down rated to 3 stars because of this.
