We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.

From the moment we booked with Christian, we knew we were in for an unforgettable day... Christian is warm, friendly, and a true expert in sailing. His boat is stunning & spacious. His knowledge of the area reflects his years of experience, and it's clear he knows the Bay like the back of his hand. He navigated the waters to ensure we had the best experience possible, keeping us in the sun & warning us when to expect a little bit of colder wind - he accommodated us with warm blankets & cups for our champagne! He made us feel completely safe throughout. We were blessed enough to spot a few whales, which made the views even more exciting. We were celebrating my boyfriend's 30th birthday, so we had an impromptu photo shoot. Christian captured beautiful photos of us that we cherish! All in all, He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and even teaching us a bit about sailing--a dream for both of us. He allowed us to connect our playlist to the speakers, or choose one on his Spotify, and enjoy. While he gave us plenty of private time to soak in the breathtaking scenery, we also loved chatting with him and hearing about his life during the tailend of the trip. This was an incredible experience, and we can't wait to sail with Christian again when we're back in the area. Don't hesitate to book this adventure--you won't regret it!

I also liked that the trails loop back around to the parking area, so it was easy to explore without worrying about getting lost. We were staying in Monterey, so it was about a 25 min drive to get there, we arrived before 11am. We parked before the park entrance along Highway 1 where there were NO signs saying "No parking at any time" THIS IS IMPORTANT because as we were walking towards the entrance, there was a parking enforcement officer giving tickets to all the other cars parked where the signs were clearly posted closer to the entrance. So make sure you pay attention! There is parking inside the park too for only $10. Once inside there were park rangers helping you with questions and guiding you on deciding which trails to go on, which was very nice and convenient! We took a picture of the map and choose to do the Cypress Grove, and the Sea Lion Point Trails. We only had about 3 hrs to hang out at the park, so those two were perfect easy hikes and roughly about 2.5 miles if you do both loops. We got spectacular views everywhere, you could hear the Sea Lions and see so many beautiful birds flying around. Wish we would've brought binoculars, so bring some with you if you remember. We can't wait to come back another time and do a full day of hiking because there are so many other trails! The park and restrooms were clean and well kept too, it's definitely a must visit once in your lifetime at least!!

We immediately saw sea lions and seals sunning themselves on a dock and multiple species of birds nesting and hunting in the harbor waters. But, it was out in the slough where the real magic happens. She identified animals and birds for us and told us about the efforts to restore the slough. It was a fun and informative tour that I highly recommend. 10/10

Was I wrong! We had the most amazing tour! First, we happened to see humpback whales from the boat. Just so you know, that doesn't normally happen. We were very lucky and a special moment for us. In addition to that, there were so many pelicans flying around and diving into the water to catch fish! It was incredible. Plenty of street parking. Plenty of bikes. We got set up and ready to go quick. There are helmets if you don't bring your own and sacks on the bikes to carry your belongings. The staff gave us a map, answered some questions, and gave suggestions on where to go. We started with the 17 mile loop, which took a little over 2 hours. The scenery is absolutely stunning and there are plenty of spots to get off, take in the view, or spend some time on the beach. If you're gonna go into the sand I suggest wearing appropriate footwear. Water moccasins or Tevas. There isn't too much traffic along the trail so you're not constantly competing with cars. Stopped in the Pebble Beach pro shop to grab some souvenirs. There's plenty of things to see and you can either take your time or blast through it all. Overall fantastic shop. I'd 100% rent from them again.
