I arrived at 11:02 AM when I got there, she said give me one second. We are very strict about being late because I was a little late to my last appointment and she went to the back to see if it was OK that I was two minutes late to my already paid for and already scheduled appointment. She came back out and said that she would not be seeing me for my appointment for being two minutes late, and not only that but they were going to be taking me off of my dentist schedule and putting me on a completely new schedule with a different dentist that I had already stated I did not want to see also not to mention me and dentist Kelly already have a very extensive dental plan going on. She said that Megan would be in touch but three days later there is no contact from megan. I never even scheduled this appointment On June 4th, my appointment was supposed to be in two weeks, but they called me on June 3rd and said they have an opening the next morning if I could come and fill the spot for them. I told them yes that I would be there. I also had already paid over $200 for This appointment and then they treat me this way for being 2 MINUTES LATE. I have been going to this dentist for over a decade nearly 15 years and to be treated this way over being two minutes late is completely unorthodox and very Outrageous I cannot believe I am being treated this way. My feelings are very hurt. The tooth that I was supposed to be getting worked on has been giving me trouble for months and I even Complained that it was hurting So for them to treat me this way after even after saying that I have had tooth pain is completely Ridiculous not to mention that The treatment I was supposed to be getting done would take about two hours So they booked me to be there for two hours and because I was two minutes late they canceled the whole appointment canceled my whole dental plan and tried to get me to a new dentist knowing that I have dental pain going on right now. so what did y'all do for the next two hours? Just sit there and stare at the wall. This whole experience has just been an absolute joke and I will never be coming back to this dentist After being a loyal customer for 15 years. I do not recommend this dentist to Anyone unless you're willing to break the law and run through red lights and dodge in and out of traffic so that you are not two minutes Late to an appointment. And definitely do not pre-pay for any appointments unless you want your money stolen last minute. Dr. Steve Childress needs to examine his staff and make sure everything is being done properly because never in my 15 years of being a customer here has this ever been a problem. I am severely disappointed with this whole experience, and I hope to be compensated in full for this awful awful Experience do not come to this dentist unless you want your time to be played with and your money to be played with. Dr. Rhoden has a great bedside manner and is very easy to talk with. He does not 'talk down' to his patients and really listens to what you have to say. I must say that he is very good at giving those dreaded injections. He uses an overstimulation method that is quite ingenious. It keeps you from actually feeling the stick and pain of the needle. When I saw a dentist 5 years ago, the guy said I would have a high risk of permanently losing sensation in my jaw as my teeth were impacted and were very close to my nerves. The dentist did not seem very confident and honestly, it scared me so bad that I avoided every possible surgical intervention. However, the wisdom teeth eventually had to go since it was starting to affect my other teeth and the local dentist here referred me to an oral surgeon to take a look. When I met Dr. Pritchard, he was very comforting and also confident in his abilities. You have no idea how much of a relief it was to hear when he said my teeth would be a very routine procedure and that it was highly unlikely for me to lose sensation in my jaw. Dr. Pritchard was very kind and told me how normal it was to have anxiety about the surgery and that the procedure will be quick and painless. I ended up going under general anesthesia and it was the best decision I ever made (as I had no recollection of the surgery, I did not have to remember any trauma). The surgical assistants were also very kind and also comforted me when I was getting anxious with the IV sedation process. Dr. Prichard is amazing and I recommend anyone who has an intense fear of wisdom tooth extraction to seek only the best oral surgeon to do the job!

I was almost immediately called to the back (waited about 3 minutes). Once I got to the back, I was asked a series of questions that gave the dental hygienist an idea of my dental background and naturally, my fear of the dentist came up. She went out of her way to explain every single detail of what she was doing, why it mattered, and what she was seeing as she did it. Thankfully, I had no cavities so I only received the cleaning but I could not have been more grateful. She was gentle on my teeth and chatted with me about random topics to keep me engaged and at ease. The treatment I received at this office by everyone, from the front desk to the actual dentist herself, was 100/10.
