I called and left several messages including one earlier that day to confirm I would be there before 5pm. Nobody called me back. I had a uhaul full of things I needed the unit for and I ended up having to keep the truck longer costing me MORE money. I downloaded the app and set up online access and was sent a code, but the code didn't work and the machine said to see management. I assume because they needed to verify my ID at the office with manager like I was instructed to do. This morning the ride manager called me back and I told him I no longer needed the unit and I'd like a refund.He said he'd take care of it and hung up without giving me any more information. 2 minutes later my bank text me asking if I had verified a charge for $19.99. He was supposed to refund my $49.99 not charge more. The bank didn't pay the fee and now I have to go to get another card. I reached out to Public Storage via chat and the lady told me too bad I signed a lease so I have to pay the one time service fee. This is a bunch of crap! I followed my end of the deal and these people stole from me and I want my money back. They have made my moving experience extra stressful and super expensive not having my uhaul back on time. Do NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Extra space storage is good pricing, it's clean and safe and there are no complaints of RATS and rat feces in the units.

We made in online reservation for Tuesday 11/15 and even had 2 phone calls confirming. When we got there, they couldn't find our reservation at all and didn't even know we we had an appt on 11/14 to look at the unit. But the big issue is that after the first full 2 months the price goes back to $49/month. No where online did it say that the price would go back to that, from the promo price. So after seeing that online and talking to 2 separate people on the phone we thought we would get the promo price for the duration of our rental. The only reason we figured it out RIGHT BEFORE SIGNING was because we asked again about the price in person. This is such false advertising and disappointing. In addition, the employee didn't even offer to work anything out. They have lost our business and respect. Update: The day after posting our review we were personally contacted by the property manager. He apologized for our negative experience and offered to make things right. He was straight forward with us and understood our concerns. Since he was willing to correct things and treated us with respect, we decided to give West Coast Storage a second chance. So far it has been a good experience and the facility is very clean. I am happy that the property manager is a stand up individual and did the right thing. Based of our interaction with Raul, I would recommend renting here.

Instead, I just came home to a postcard informing me that my price would go from $68 a month to $136 a month. Due to this omission of information up front, I promptly cancelled my space and took my business elsewhere. So now, I will forever be letting people know that Extra Space Storage just doesn't give you all the facts and lies by omission.

The worker today denied me a rental because I didn't have a physical card on hand even though I could access credit card number in front of him AND provided him my driver license. whoever this man with the glasses on's name is, wasn't helpful at all.
