The lady at the front desk, Mary Beth, was not only rude, but also extremely unprofessional. Without her having any knowledge of my medical history made derogatory and offensive comments. The tone and content of her speech made me feel like I was a victim of racial profiling. Without even knowing why I was there, she said that there was no way they could help me. I understand she is in a position of not much more value than minimum wage but still, if you are going to take a job, regardless of the pay, do it right. If you don't know what's going on with a patient don't assume the worse and make offensive, inaccurate statements about that patient in front of other patients. Also, don't make statements of what would be a violation of privacy if they were accurate, which they were not. Open enrollment is in a couple months and I am going back to Highmark. Some things in life aren't worth doing to save a few bucks and choosing UPMC over Highmark is one of them.

The staff along with medical accredited board-certified doctors have to Google your symptoms while we are sitting in the exam room. Ignoring the patients and paying more attention to the computer in the exam rooms than the patient medical health needs. They also do nothing but refer patients out to other doctors prolonging treatment causing patients to her sicker while waiting for a referral that the original doctor couldn't handle at a pcp level. The Doctors and medical staff at this location hide behind a computer screens than treat the public. The computer internally security tracking system kept track of it. Shows your doctors are googling there patients symptoms and treating them by the knowledge of google. not an accredited medical school. The staff rather sit in-front and hide behind a computer screen and panel window.
