The second appointment with her started out ok, but quickly went downhill after I started asking questions and respectfully disagreed with some of what she was saying. I had to fill out questions for the e-check-in before the appointment which included what I thought might be causing my symptoms. After I tried asking her about what I thought might be possible causes, she immediately dismissed every single thing that I said and accused me of having anxiety over having potential medical conditions. I asked if I could have a couple of tests ordered related to my thyroid since I have Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism, which she dismissed as well and said only TSH matters and no ultrasound is necessary. I said that I disagreed and it's ok to disagree on things, but then she turned into a different person at that point. She started telling me how she went to school for this and it escalated into her yelling while talking down to me for even mentioning anything related to my own health. I said that I did not want to argue with her and immediately deescalated the situation. The rest of the appointment was extremely uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get out of there. In the clinical notes, she accused ME of getting frustrated multiple times. I never raised my voice once at the appointment like she did, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. If you are looking for an unprofessional, inexperienced, close minded physician assistant who thinks they know everything without even considering other possibilities, you'll hit the jackpot going here. I feel bad for any patients who need to see her for help because everyone deserves adequate care and respect, which she seems incapable of providing. I found a new PCP who is wonderful and actually cares and listens to me. Also, the rest of the staff was very nice, but I was never able to get an at home sleep test order faxed over for me. A pediatrician's office is supposed to be a partner for families throughout childhood, but the care and attitude here have completely changed since the practice was bought out. What used to feel supportive now feels cold, disorganized, and dismissive. Phone calls are confusing and unhelpful. The online system is clunky. Simple requests like filling out a camp form turned into wasted hours because of their rigid policies and errors. The staff no longer guide or support parents. Instead, you have to guide them through what should be their job. The final straw was my son's recent appointment. Scheduled for 2:10, I left work early, pulled him out of school, fought through construction and parking, and walked in only a couple of minutes later. Their own staff delays checking me in pushed us over their supposed cutoff. Instead of compassion or an apology, I was met with indifference and told to reschedule. No acknowledgment of the effort or disruption to my family. Just a cold refusal. After years of loyalty, I am disgusted by how little they seem to care about kids and families now. I used to recommend this office to everyone. Today, I would strongly warn others to look elsewhere.
