Took my deposit and never built my patio and then ghosted me and disappeared. Do not do any kind of business with Chad Gillespie.

Just like all of the other recent reviewer's we put half down in August it was a struggle just to get three poles installed, that aren't even the completed poles. We went with his company because our pool company recommended them and said it would be better to go with them. I keep getting assured by our pool company that the pergola will be completed after reading everybody else's reviews, I'm fooling myself! Update My husband called the city today and the three polls Chad put in he canceled both inspections we now have travertine and grass covering up the holes we are in quite a mess he's a real piece of work we have started the ROC process can't wait for them to call. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! STAY AWAY!!! Seen them at the home and garden show in Glendale , Had Chad Gillespie come to my house in August 2021 for the quote, we decided to move forward so we put down a deposit. Chad Gillespie lives in Buckeye and so do I , so when asking him about a date of completion he told me he's seen projects in the area completed with permits anywhere from a month and a half to 3 months and I was fine with that. It got to 4 months NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS OTHER THEN ME CALLING THEM OR ME SENDING EMAILS TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON. The once phone number that went to Chad Gillespie now goes to Shawna, someone who works for Premier patio covers. She said that they dont have the material for my job and I have no idea when they may get it. I followed up every few weeks to see if there's been a update and she keeps telling me the same thing that they dont have the materials, I then asked about the permit thinking every thing should have been filed with the city of Buckeye, NOPE. Its been 6 MONTHS NO PERMITS,MATERIALS OR A DATE OF COMPLETION. The last email on 2/7/22 Shawna sent me , she said she's still waiting for Chad to pay for my Permit to the city of Buckeye. Im done waiting , I told Shawna in a email, I need my full deposit refunded in 30 days of that email to avoid legal fees and court costs. I WILL UPDATE THIS IN 30 DAYS TO SEE IF THEY REFUNDED ME. IM ALSO GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE Better Business Bureau, Glendale Home & Garden Show and there Bonds company. read more

Saw this merchant at the Home Show and left my info for a quote for a patio cover. Received a call from Lynn on March 12th as a follow-up and scheduled a visit for April 2nd at my home in Queen Creek, (which is in the east valley Lynn). After 3 weeks, received a call around 4:30pm the evening before the appointment from a company I've not heard of advising me that Premier Patio Covers only handles the west valley and they handle east valley. Asked me what I was looking for. Needless to say, no one showed up at the appointed time. Placed a call to Chad G. - owner listed on Yelp. No response - shocking. Starting off this review. I want to state that this is a small family run and owned business and if you contract with them, you may have a longer than normal wait time in the completion of your project...but it will be worth it!!! Chad was excellent in the first initial appraisal taking the time to make sure that all my questions were answered, explained everything thoroughly and made sure this would be exactly what i wanted, and his quote was honest and up front coming in much cheaper than others with no hidden costs. As I said, this is a small company and we had some delays due to COVID and a few other things which was in no way any fault on behalf of Premier or it's staff. During this time Jenn was super amazing and friendly, making sure I was updated with any progress. She handled everything! From the city, permits, HOA, etc., making this so easy on me. She was so incrediable through this whole thing! Once the ball got rolling again things happened fast! Chad and his crew showed up and confirmed with me what the build was to be and he answered more questions I had. This crew worked very well together and was very efficient in the construction process. Chads attention to detail and eye for perfection, along with his work ethics and desire to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied is rarely found in contractors these days. From start to clean up he was a perfectionist and definitely knows what he is doing! I am 100% satisfied with my new patio cover, it looks fantastic! Go somewhere else, bottom line up front. We started last October. Chad never could get the required engineering for the permit, I had to get one through the HOA. Endless delay excuses, digging the footings he damaged electric lines and failed to report or repair. Dumbed concrete on neighbor propert. Violated HOA rules using sprayer to paint posts and got overspray on everything (did the same to neighbors awning). Never installed gutters and gave me endless excuses. In May (8 months) I gave up hired a company finished next day. The only thing Chad did fast was collect the money. 2 days to build, 8 months to file small claims lawsuit. Go ANYWHERE else. read more

Well good luck if you can get them to respond. Chad showed up to do the initial measuring but then it took me at least two weeks of hounding to get the quote. And it took me another several weeks to get a plot drawing for HOA approval. I'm pretty sure one of the times I called I woke up the lady that works in the office who I assume is his wife. She was super apologetic for the delays both times but yet it continues to happen. A week ago we were ready to move forward with part of the job, I requested a call from Chad so he could address some of my husband's questions and also they were supposed to send me pictures of a job they had completed that would be similar to ours. We made an appointment 4pm. Call never came. The pictures never came. I've emailed them, called them and been completely ignored. The only time the lady in the office was super responsive was when I said we were ready to move forward with the job and she quickly sent me an invoice requesting a 50% deposit. So this company is quick to take your money and that is about all. They have completely lost my confidence and regardless of what they do or say now I would not give them a penny. read more
