I wanted to revamp my front yard, and I wanted a river bed with some drough tolerant plants installed. I had a picture of what I wanted the river bed to look like, and Tim exceeded my expectation and more. He and his crew artfully crafted this river bed where it is not just shallow rocks being laid on top, but the area was dug out rather deep to create natural curves all throughout. Tim clearly has an eye for outdoor aesthetics, and he is also very knowledgeable about what plants should or should not be planted depending on the time of the month. As an avid gardener, that solidified his reputation in my book. He even fixed and replaced all the irrigation lines to my already established plants without me even realizing. We really enjoyed how Jason came over to our house and was able to sit with us right there and design the backyard while being able to walk the space to visualize it, rather than go to an office somewhere like other companies. He came back as often as we needed to finalize the design. Lindsey their operations manager was fantastic, she provided lots of communication on the schedule, updates, ect. She was always available whenever we had any questions or concerns. Tom came by at each step to check that everything was getting done correctly, really made us feel at ease as we progressed. All of their sub contractors were respectful and do great work. We really liked Miguel and his team, we even hired him for some extra work after the pool. They quoted us 2-3 months for the project to be complete and we were swimming just over the 2 month mark. Highly recommend!

System Pools built a nice product but getting there wasn't easy…read more Wifey and I shopped for the right pool builder. This is our first pool. We knew we were looking for a company with a solid reputation, and most importantly good communication throughout the build and good subcontractors. We went to a few pool & garden shows and compiled a list of our top 10, then narrowed those to our top 3 based on the above. We chose Robert & System Pools because of his initial professionalism and apparently quality, and wanted to support a small family business. During construction communication was difficult at best and supervision was absent. This meant that the worker bees worked without quality control. That resulted in misaligned tiles, questionable drainage, bad grouting and silly mistakes like a dozen or so travertine tiles with the printed country of origin showing and mismatched tiles. If the worker had just placed them differently by 90 degrees! Getting the tile contractor to fix it was an effort and they missed about 1/3 of the errors so I had to fix the rest myself. No Bueno. I waited a year to write this review to include warranty service. There were a few minor warranty issues, as expected. Communication and response to those issues could have been better.
