I wasn't sure how to write about my experience with this place because i wasn't and still am not sure of exactly what happened. I'm just going to lay out the facts and infer as you will (i will privately message anyone who wants to hear my suspicions): This is our first time boarding our dog ever. Wendy set up a video call with us and she is lovely. We arrange to drop our medium-sized dog with her and her husband Mantan on a Friday morning. We arrive to their house and Mantan comes outside to greet us. There is a lot of construction equipment outside of the house and we can hear construction going on inside. He meets our dog and starts to take her inside. I ask to go inside to see where she'll be staying, but he says that there's construction going on, so we can't go in. I should have insisted, especially considering he seems to think that if it's bad for me, wouldn't it be bad for my dog? That's on me. A bit after we leave, we got a brief update with a photo of our pup in their back area (not a yard so much as a cement square with some flowers on a trellis). Late Friday night we get a photo from Mantan of our pup and several others in the back area of some "late night play". It was 12:38pm. Sunday rolls around and we are arriving back about an hour before we estimated, so we messaged Wendy and asked if we could arrive early. She told us she's stepped out to the store but she'd be home in 20 mintues. We parked across the street from her house about 2 minutes after we texted and waited. Then we see Wendy come out of her house. ? She seemed surprised to see us, but has our dog's leash in her hands and goes along the side of the house to the back and returns with our dog a minute later. I smelled my dog before she got all the way over to us. Her eyes looked haunted. She was wet all on her underside and stained with an almost rust colored hue, which was also around her mouth. She was drooling heavily. I touched her fur and it felt greasy and dirty. She was clean when we dropped her off. I asked Wendy why she was wet and she ignored my question. I asked again. Ignored. I asked a third time and she laughed and said that she "stepped in a puddle on a walk earlier". It had not been raining. And that was not water on her, or not *just* water. So, since I have no idea where they were keeping her because they wouldn't show me, and the state in which we received our dog after her stay, I can definitively say that i WOULD NOT recommend anyone taking their dog here if they care about them. I find it hard to believe that they have all genuine 5 star reviews. read more

I can't say how happy I have been with Wendy and her husband. I have been sending Sosa to her for 4 years now and she is the best dog sitter ever! I have tried others and I brought him right back to Wendy. She always send me pictures of my dog and he loves them! He hurries and jump out the car when we pull up and see her and he doesn't do that for anyone else. I had to go out of town for a few days and we have a new pup and she took Sosa and our new edition Toto who has so much puppy energy and he came back all calm and a new dog. She's often available on short notice, and I could always trust that my dogs were in great hands.
