Sharon has been such a wonderful groomer to my Pomeranian, Zack. She always took such good care of him every time he went in for his wash and grooming. He would come home smelling so good and fresh, and somehow always looking even more handsome than when I dropped him off. What I appreciated most was how gently and lovingly she handled him, especially as he got older. You can truly tell she cares about the pets she works with and treats them like her own. She even helped me trim my pitbull Gotti's nails (he passed away in August 2025). Even though Sharon normally only works with small dogs, she was so kind and willing to help me out with Gotti. That meant so much to me. I also brought my friend's dog, Bella, to Sharon for the longest time. Bella passed away two years ago, and she always smelled so good after a visit with Sharon. She truly had a special touch with all of them. Zack recently passed away as well, so I won't be bringing him in anymore, and that makes me so sad. I will definitely miss our visits with Sharon. I'll also miss seeing her sweet dog, Molly, who always greeted everyone that walked through the door. That warm welcome made it feel even more special. Her studio may not be the fanciest place out there, but what truly matters is the care, attention, and love she gives to our pets. That means everything. Now all of my doggies are in heaven, and I'm sure they all miss Sharon. I'm so grateful she was part of their lives. read more

Brought my dog for a wash and groom. Was able to text Sharon and book an appointment the same week. The pricing was upfront and I was able to ask questions and share my preferences for my dog's look. I was texted at the 3 hour mark when Sharon said the dog would be ready. Upon pickup Sharon shared my dog had a scab on her thigh I didn't notice and appreciated her for pointing out. I asked for a little more fur to be shaved from the top of her head and Sharon helped right away. I appreciate her communication and flexibility. I needed to find a new groomer as I work full time in office now so I tried best friends grooming. The place was in a pretty convenient location with plenty of parking. The inside was a little bit dated, but Sharon was pretty nice and accommodating. However, the haircut was way too short for a Pomeranian and quite uneven which revealed a lot of dark fur spots on my Pomeranian which the previous groomer prevented. I have a 5 year old semi feral cat I rescued 4 years ago. Lucy is afraid of people, and she hides. When I recued her she was beat up pretty badly, and pregnant at 10 months old. It's hard to catch her, and Sharon reassured me, that she understood if I couldn't catch her. Lucy has a super fine undercoat, and a long over coat. She's gets mats easily, and because she has asthma, can't groom herself enough. I can't speak highly enough of Sharon's patience and understanding with Lucy. She was so gentle, and skilled at cutting the mats away from the skin. Together we held her, and Sharon must've got rid of those mats. I noticed Lucy's eyes aren't as dilated and big, and her breathing is slower since we treated her. She even lets me pet her more. She must know we helped her. I'm so happy to have found a new go-to groomer for my dog! First things first, the price for a full groom (bath and haircut) is very reasonable. Much more reasonable than when I used to take my dog to Petco! Dropped off the pup at 11:00 and she was done by 12:30. My dog's haircut was perfect in length and look; just how I like to have it! My dog is pretty squirmy but I really appreciated how Sharon communicated with me that she knows exactly how to work with her! The best part?! This is our first time bringing our dog Elizabeth here. Sharon was great. She advised me of matting and that she would need to cut our dog's hair short to correct it. Sharon groomed my 5 month old puppy with no trouble after staff at Petsmart had given up! I felt comfortable leaving him with her because she was so gentle with my doggie. Sharon is great, I called her at 2am after finding her on yelp expecting to leave a voicemail, but she answered the phone and had no problem scheduling an appointment for Saturday at 830AM ( I believe she only works mornings ) I dropped off my maltipoo and she explained to me that prices will be going up and it would be 65$ (extremely affordable compared to prices in the city) she also let me know ahead of time that he would have to be cut really short due to all the matts in his hair- this was really appreciated because everytime I go to any groomer they don't tell me it's going to be shorter than what I'd like until I come pick him up. She works fast, expecting to come back at 1030 she sent a text around 930 saying my pup would be finished early & she was kind enough to send a picture once everything was done. His hair was cut a lot shorter than I would like but he's clean, light and happy. When I came to pick him up she also informed me that he had a sick left ear and I should get that checked out ASAP, which was very kind of her. Overall it was a great experience in my opinion. Hopefully next time my pup won't have so many matts so he can finally look cute after a cut- but I can only expect so much for a maltipoo. Wonderful experience getting my cat, Lance, groomed- fast, friendly, and affordable! Called the number indicated for appointments and left a voicemail. Sharon called me back after the weekend craziness and let me know she had some openings the coming Saturday morning. Sharon gets started early so I made an appointment for 8am. When Saturday came I drove over to drop the extremely upset Lance off. The parking lot had plenty of available parking and even a few fake 10 minute parking spots right in front of Best Friends Grooming. Quickly parked and dropped off the cat. Sharon said to come back at 11am, when she finishes for the day, or she would call/text if Lance was finished early. Sharon called and sent me a pic of the finished product at 10:40 am, right when I was heading out to pick him up. My attempts of grooming her with my bf and myself didn't work out as planned. We decided to take her to some professional place to get it done. I saw Sharon's shop on yelp and read reviews. Although her hours are a bit odd, we made an appointment and hoped the reviews lived up to their ratings. We dropped her off at 10am and Sharon had about 3 other dogs in the cages....most of them were already well groomed and clean. Just by looking at the finished products from that moment, I trusted her instincts to make my dog just as nice. She reassured that everything she does gets written down and any requests would be honored. We were running late to pick her up. Instead of coming back by 1:30pm, we showed up at 2:10pm. Oops! She was closing shop at 2pm! But, when we arrived, she didn't make a big deal about being late and still had a great attitude about briefing us on how the session went. Yuki looked happy and so cute! Her nails used to be so sharp that she leaves white marks on my legs when she scratches them but after going here, her nails felt a little softer and less sharp. I just started taking my dogs here recently and Sharon is really nice and gives my 2 Maltese a great cut each time. Here pricing is really reasonable. You usually have to call two numbers to get a hold of her which is inconvenient, but once you get the right one and leave a message she will call you back within the week. As a sole proprietor, with two locations and spending her day with pets only, some may find her hours and persona are quirky but she's perfect for the pets which is what's important.
