When I first joined, the staff themselves would add eucalyptus to the sauna water to create a pleasant aroma. Because that had been their normal practice, I asked if eucalyptus could be added again. Instead, a staff member accidentally added the wrong product, which created a strong burning smell in the sauna. Rather than taking responsibility for their own mistake, they blamed me for what happened and canceled my membership. What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself--everyone makes mistakes--but how it was handled. Instead of acknowledging the error and resolving the situation professionally, they chose to blame a loyal customer who had been coming there for nearly a year. I expected much better customer service and accountability. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this sauna.

Membership Fees are completely reasonable and a great way to support the Charlotte Jewish Community. Work out staff are incredible non-judgmental, friendly and helpful. It appears Administration does not allow any "Ding Dongs" to work there. Everyone working there is helpful and pleasant. Security Supervisor Mr. Randy Brown is a Mensch; - Security is on point and is very visible. They are constantly patrolling the entire grounds, which really makes us feel safe. While the monthly cost at The Little Gym may be slightly higher, the overall experience is significantly better. My son is three years old, and like many children his age, listening is still a skill we're working on. I initially thought Perfect Balance would be a great place for him to develop new skills and improve focus. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. During one class, the instructor became visibly irritated when my son got distracted or didn't follow instructions. At the end of class, she had him line up with the other children to receive a stamp for participation. She even dipped the stamp in the ink pad, only to look him in the eye and tell him he wasn't getting a stamp because he hadn't listened. I understand the importance of teaching children accountability, but I strongly believe the instructor's approach was unnecessarily petty and inappropriate for a three-year-old. If she felt it was important for him not to receive a stamp, she could have spoken to me directly. I would have respected that. But having him go through the motions--only to publicly deny him a small reward--felt more like punishment than a teaching moment. Because of this experience, I ended our membership effective immediately. We will continue going to The Little Gym, where the instructors are patient, supportive, and understand that children--especially toddlers--have good and bad days. They work with him, not against him. One final thought for any parent considering Perfect Balance: my son also participates in Soccer Shots, where I regularly see other three-year-olds wander off, lose focus, or struggle to follow instructions. Yet, at the end of practice, those children still receive stamps and stickers--not because they performed perfectly, but because they showed up and tried. Why? Because they're three, they're still learning and that deserves encouragement, not shame.

When I parked I saw some high-end sports cars parked right in front, all backed in so the trunks were easy access to the sidewalk and just steps from the front door. That was the clue there were some experienced golfers on-site and there were. Several young men, it looked like a league and they had already ordered their cold beverages and were swinging away and getting festive. Today I played the front nine with a 130p tee time, it was 87 degrees and 60% humidity so it was not ideal weather but not unbearable for just 9 holes. Even though Hurricane Debby had blown through four days before dropping 4 inches of rain in Fort Mill, it had dried quickly and conditions were good. It was cart path only on the #5 hole. Built in 2001 and designed by Clyde Johnston, this is the most updated and modern of all the 4 Leroy Springs courses. It's a challenging course which will test your mid-iron game requiring strategic strategy off the tee and approach shots. They have GPS on all the electric carts, a nice large driving range where you can hit off grass and mats as well as a designated chipping area with a small bunker and a large putting green. Really nice ProShop for all the golf gear including mens & women's clothes, shoes, gloves, hat's, belts, towels and a wide selection of golf ball brands. Nice snack bar at the turn with good menu options and a large dining room. You can also use an App called 'birdie' to advance order from the snack bar. The only downsides are the lack of water coolers along the holes and there is only one bathroom on the front nine. Hole #5 is perpetual cart path only. There is no beverage cart, even at the height of the hottest summer days. Many green side bunkers creating side hill & uneven lies.
