My wife and I attended a Premier Pool Open House at their offices with the intent to just "to look". We met Jeremy and he gave us an idea of what to they do, what to expect, and some light design options from the showroom. He offered to visit our house to make measurements so that he could create some design mockups of possibilities. Within a week or two, Jeremy sent us a "first look". We asked for a few edits here and there given we had no ideas where we wanted to go with it as we completely leveled our existing yard and kept nothing. We were amazed by the first drafts given that we didn't think a pool would fit in our yard comfortably. Jeremy was extremely patient with the design iterations as we played around with ideas. The designs sold us and we were all in! Initially we thought it would take 6-8 weeks for permits to be pulled after we gave the green light to proceed. They ended up being approved in less than a week and we broke ground about week later. Premier was extremely fast with their team of contractors and subcontractors from demolition to full completion. From breaking ground to filling with water was less than a three-month turnaround. With several of those weeks the result of Christmas to New Year's vacation and time it takes for various components like decking or pool interior to cure. Premier was great with communication in terms of letting us know each morning who was coming on any given day. Usually we heard from Jeremy and our construction manager Teo a day or two earlier than Premier's automated emails on next steps. While Jeremy and Teo were clear, it was nice to receive the emails to make sure we heard everything correctly. Pros: Showroom has too many option to choose from! LOL! From textures to colors, there was almost too many. They even recommended visiting tile shops if we wanted to explore other colors. Jeremy was extremely polite and patient. He was readily available by both text and email for any questions we had. Teo was also great at stopping by to check on progress and see if we had any questions. He was also readily available by text message. We had them install a specialty BaduJet Turbo Pro. We pointed them to the website and they took care of all specs to fabricate the pool around it, all additional electrical work, and all additional plumbing. Recommendations for Premier: It would be great if some of the subcontractors were brought "in house" to provide full wraparound services. We opted to install tempered glass so that the pool could be enlarged and moved closer to the house. But we had to coordinate that on our own with a window contractor. We will use their subcontractor to install rock facades on our house. It would be great if they could have done in under the Premier contract at the same time they were doing the pool facades. I get it, they do pools, not houses. Premier took care of all the electrical, water, and gas hook ups that were related to the pool. We had to work with a couple of the subcontractors on the side to add additional sprinkler lines and move some electrical wiring on the side. Those also would have been great if it was done under the Premier contract as well. Premier's contractors and subcontractors obviously knew what they were doing so they pool just kind of came together. It would be great if Premier had a larger portfolio album of actual photos of pools so that we knew in advance what we were getting. We "trusted the process" and it all came together, but I could see some clients desiring to know more in advance. We subcontracted out the construction of a custom kitchen island because Premier doesn't build them (again, because they build pools), providing subcontractors provides another opportunity for Premier to be full service. read more

One year update... our grass is now filled with valleys from sinkage so rolling your ankle WILL happen. You can see where all of our pipes were ran in our yard. Our concrete is completely lifted from the ground and will most likely break soon and our pool sweep that comes with the pool does not work and has honestly never really worked. The pool itself is good but everything else that definitely costed a pretty penny, looks like crap and is dangerous. Very disappointed. read more

I called a few pool companies last year to get some pool quotes and decided that I could not afford a pool. then, early this Spring, Olivia from Premier Pools called me to tell me about their Poolapalooza event and got me thinking about getting a pool again. I did have to make a few calls and send a few text messages to get a few things done during the construction phase, but overall, the process was very good and my pool is amazing. Concrete was included in the quote, and it made such a difference in the look of my backyard. I purchased my property when it was all just one big pasture, so it was a blank canvas that needed a lot of design work. When I looked to build a pool it was an obvious choice since I had used Premier Pools 28 years prior. Building a pool in winter time had the bonus of getting the end of year specials which cut the cost down. Jeff made the experience easy and quick from the first site visit to the day of actually going over the plans and selecting colors. Note: they only do hardscape (pool,spa, concrete, turf, retaining wall). I decided on a pool, spa, concrete, turf, retaining wall, and solar. They started construction almost immediately with the whole project finished (minus a couple of punch list items) in about 3 months. Ruben and Jeff used a text group to keep me updated during the entire process and addressed my questions immediately. Extremely happy with the end product! I have held off on this review for months hoping the remaining issue could be resolved. Tony and construction crew were great to work with, returning my calls and answering texts, during actual construction, most of the time. For the most part, Tony's suggestions in the materrials and colors proved to be great. That said, we did have some hiccups. They could have been a little better about communicating when certain things were happening. I happened to be home when they built the waterfall. I had expressed my concern during the plumbing phase that the top of the waterfall was going to be too close to the pool. I didn't want the water to enter the pool with a dramatic fall, but more of a stream-like feature. Tony kept assuring me it was OK and I would like it. It isn't and I don't. They did try to make some adjustments after everything was done but the large rock at the base was always going to create a drop. Tony also assured me I would be happy with some boulders placed around the edge of the pool. I was hesitant and decided to think about it. I had no idea they were going to put the boulders in the day they did the waterfall and was leaving the house for an appointment when they began that. I take some responsibility for not taking the time to work with the workers at that time - and be late for my appointment. I have learned to live with the results of the pool and waterfall and for the most part do enjoy them. I would have given them 4 stars if this was the only problem. The concrete deck has been the real problem. Blotches, or efflorescence, occurred. They told me it might go away so give it some time. I gave it almost a year and when the warranty was about to run out and it was still bad, I got in touch with their service department and with Tony. They both got back to me and said they would reach out to the concrete sub for a solution (JLC Concrete). I never heard back. I have followed up at least 4 times, always getting some kind of a "I'll look into it" from Tony, but nothing from the service department. I'm afraid my only recourse now is to go to Better Business Bureau and find another contractor to paint the deck. read more

Looks horrible. The cracks formed within two days of install. The pool is now two years old and cracks are getting wider. The response from Premier "concrete cracks" but two days after install and more than 15 cracks all over!?! Come on, that's the quality of the work that's apparently acceptable for this company. The "attempt" at resolution was to only replace the areas cracked and a warning the new concrete won't match. Awesome, so now I'll have a zebra striped coping pool. Disappointed with this company. Find a higher quality company who cares about their reputation and build quality. Don't waste your time and money. read more

Premier pools just finished the full remodel of our pool about 2 weeks ago. We're very happy with the finished new resort style pool . They were quick and finished our remodel ahead of schedule. This is our first landscape project and inground pool, and let me tell you, Premier knocked it out of the park. In this review, I want to highlight two people: Nathan and Ruben. Nathan was amazing from start to finish. His communication was top tier. Nathan is not with Premier just to sell pools; he takes pride in his work, and I really appreciate that. Never did my lady and I feel overwhelmed or like we were on this alone. Nathan was there every step of the way and suggested what he thought would be most aesthetically pleasing while being cost-effective for our budget. Then there is Ruben. Ruben's communication was also top tier. He sent us photos during every phase and let us know what days he and the crew would be coming out, along with times as well. I've held off on this review for months with the hopes that customer service would improve, but I just had to re-send the same email I've sent multiple times with our list of open items. I have a long and detailed list of issues documented, but suffice it to say, there were issues at every step of the process, and we felt we ultimately had to manage 95% of the project ourselves-and still are. By far the worst portion was the concrete sub-contractor (JLC Concrete) who can't even frame a straight line or properly level for drainage. 7/8 Updated to one star as issues still continue. I had to call the city myself since the pool was done 6/19 and Premier still had not bothered to order the final inspection. Our pump is also not working and according to their tech, the solar heater "has issues". Of course he didn't tell me that, I had to reach out to Premier because he came and left yesterday with no communication. I reached out to premier because he messed with our pool schedule for some reason (he turned on and left on the pump and heater on for unknown reasons despite the pump cycling on and off every 30 seconds). If I hadn't called, I likely would not have known about the issues. This company has taken up so much of my time and energy since they day they decided to dig the pool despite two weeks of solid rain coming the next day! read more

We have appreciated the clear communication, seamless construction and a lot of very hard workers to make this dream come true. We always knew what was coming next and trusted the process. Well, if you have read my first one star review of my experience dealing with Premier Pools then you saw their response from Andrew. He sounded so apologetic, blah, blah, blah... he contacted me and said he will gather his team together and find out what happened. That was 16 days ago and guess what? Crickets! No response, phone call, email, NOTHING! Except they are 1,000 dollars richer by keeping my down payment. At least they could have made an exception and refunded my down payment. Do not believe anything this company tells you. There are a lot of good pool builders out there that care about their customers! You're just a number on a board to Premier! Our neighbor was nice enough to let us know which company they were using to construct their new pool and give us their contact number. Whatever the quality of their work may be, we caught whoever was working this particular day red-handed dumping cement runoff on our property. My wife had to go out and confront the person to stop what they were doing, and they assured her it wouldn't damage anything. She showed me the footage and aftermath after I got home from work. I called the company during hours, no answer, so I left a detailed message describing the damage as well as both mine and my wife's number to call us back. Neither of us received a text nor voicemail to follow up. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. My only request on the message was for them fix the damage, which at this point now is the stain and replacing the lava rock they defaced. So take caution in hiring this company, their practices may end up pissing off your neighbors in the future. read more

Most everything has 1 year warranty on it. When you spend over $100,000 on a pool you would expect more. We had a few things break the first year. They did replace/redo. But now our pool is falling apart on year 3 and it's out of warranty and I'm not talking about a little pipe or equipment.....the masonry waterfall they built is literally falling apart. read more

We actually started digging the pool a year ago and no fault to us or Premier a gas line was hit. Very good experience with Premier Pools. Steve Provost was our salesman and guided us through the whole planning and building process. We highly recommend Steve! Our one and only complaint is the way the cement workers disrespected our yard, walking through flower beds and grass, crushing plants then deciding to wash and clean all their equipment on our grass. They left concrete debris in the grass consisting of a white film with chunks of concrete to be kicked up by the mower. We contacted Steve and he had the crew come back and clean up the mess, but they literally tore out areas of the grass leaving bare areas in my once beautiful green yard. They have offered to replace the grass, which we have accepted, but their blatant disregard for our property was disappointing. We gave them a rating of 4 because of Steve and also because we love our pool and spa, it would have been a 5 if the "crew" had been more respectful of our property. read more

In short, service personnel made some changes to my pool equipment and I have not heard from the company. I have emailed them, called them, and now I am resorting to this to see If I can get a response from them. I got 3 bids before deciding on Premier Pools. Their prices faired lower than the other bids. Steve Provost came out to give me a bid. He understood what I was wanting and before I knew it he had designed it on his laptop. That was fun! That beginning vision soon became a reality and I have a beautiful pool. Our construction manager was Rubin Rosalia. Every step of construction had a professional specialized team and each team completely cleaned up after they completed their work. Rubin was great with communication and kept everything rolling on schedule. Only took 9 weeks even though winter rain held us up on occasion. As soon as the pool was full, Justin came out and trained us on the pool and pump. Great tutorial and very informative. He's been back twice to service the pool. He's thorough.
