Extremely disappointed -- 2 1/2-year-old walkway already failing…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Living Elements Landscape. They installed a flagstone walkway at my home, and it is only 2 1/2 years old, yet it has already developed significant problems. The Gator Dust used between the flagstones has repeatedly washed out, leaving the walkway deteriorating year after year. There are now loose flagstones, uneven areas, and sections that have become a serious tripping hazard. I contacted Living Elements Landscape and gave them the opportunity to correct the problem. Instead of standing behind their workmanship, I was told they would not fix it because the project was outside their one-year warranty. They offered only $300 toward finding someone else to repair it, despite the condition of the walkway. What I found particularly concerning was the response when I indicated that I may have to pursue the matter further. I was told that if I took them to court and lost, they would sue me for their legal fees. I found this response extremely troubling when I was simply trying to get a 2 1/2-year-old walkway with loose and shifting flagstones addressed. This is not just a cosmetic issue. The walkway is unsafe, and I should not have to worry about someone tripping because of loose flagstone on a relatively new installation. I hired a professional landscaping company expecting quality workmanship and a company willing to address problems with its work. Instead, I feel I have been left with a deteriorating walkway and the expense of finding someone else to correct it. If you are considering hiring Living Elements Landscape, I strongly recommend asking very specific questions about their installation methods, materials, warranty, and what happens if the work begins failing shortly after the warranty expires. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Living Elements Landscape and would not hire them again. UPDATE: Living Elements has responded to my review, but several statements in their response are inaccurate. The walkway was completed in March 2024, not over three years ago. They also state that they returned multiple times; in fact, they returned once during the one-year warranty period to address low spots in the joints. The current issue is loose and moving flagstones, cracked and washed-out joints, and a resulting tripping hazard. I also disagree with the characterization that the current condition is simply the result of drainage. If drainage was a concern, that should have been properly addressed when the walkway was installed or a reasonable corrective solution should have been provided.

Alex and his crew transformed our front, back and side yards this past spring. Alex spent the most time reviewing our vision, giving us helpful ideas and consulting with my husband during the initial meeting versus the other competing vendors. He was knowledgeable about what native plants we could utilize to liven up our space, and what would survive and thrive in which sun spots. He understood our inspiration and worked with the style of our home to create a Mediterranean-inspired haven for our family. After agreeing to his bid, which was the best price (bonus!) we scheduled the work days and the crew was friendly, super hard working and left everything incredibly clean at the end of each day.
