This was the first and only location visited when interested in purchasing a Hot Tub, felt comfortable at the location and the Staff was Great.  Once we decided on the right size of unit for the space available, the rest was easy with Great Assistance from Dylan.  We had to wait a week for delivery, and the delivery process went extremely smooth with no problems or damages.  Tyler and Sam delivered our unit and were very helpful in informing me of everything I needed to know for success.  Install was an Awesome Experience, Thanks Tyler and Sam!!! They sent a repair technician out once who made a repair which lasted for a few months before we had another leak. The second person came out a made repairs and since then we have called him out over the last 2 years, spending over $1000 of our own money to get it repaired. He said we have a "lemon" and suggested we list all the repairs we've had done and go meet with the manager. We did that. He said he had to send all our data to his "manager", and he'd get back to us. That was over 6 months ago and we've never heard a word. In the meantime we've had our repairman over 3 more times for leaks. We are so frustrated and don't know what else to do. Save yourself a lot of heartache and money by never having anything to d with Sunset Spas on Costco Drive in Marana. We wish we'd never walked into that store!

Update number 2 and it will be brief…read more After posting my first update (and, if we're being an honest, a public post on Facebook in which I tagged Valley Oasis and mentioned a potential lawsuit), I was contacted by Noah through Facebook Messenger, and my husband received a phone call. Noah came by, looked at the pool, and a couple months later all of the issues were fixed. The hole under the waterfall was patched, the Venturi nozzle was replaced, and the damage to the decking was repaired and the entire surface coated in a grey cool-decking type material. My water bill has been cut in half (amazing how much water can quietly leak from a pool). Why only three stars? Because it shouldn't have taken that long to get someone's attention. If you go with this company, keep on it and stand firm.

By posting this review I hope to give the reader not only information on Presidential Pools but…read moresome insight on having an inground pool built. Here is our story. After deciding that we wanted to have a pool built I went to the internet and researched pool companies in Tucson, trying to find the best ones. I narrowed it down to six companies. (There were more that were equally good but they specialized in larger, more high end pools.) Anyway, the six I contacted were Presidential, Southern Arizona, Oasis, Omni, Zarate, and First Choice. I set up appointments with each one of them to come out and look at our yard and discuss it with us. I gave each one the same basic parameters- approx 30 x 16 in size, with a depth of 3 in the shallow and 5 in the deep end. Fair amount of decking around the pool, no heater. Pebble sheen plaster. (Like Pebble Tec, but the aggregate is smaller). So everyone had the same marching orders. Bill Butler with Presidential was the first one to come out and the first one to get back to us with a layout drawing of our backyard with the pool in it along with a price. I had an immediate gut reaction to Bill that he was someone we could trust and that they would do a good job for us. It took awhile to gather all of the bids and alas, two companies just blew us off and never returned calls or got back to us with pricing. I'm not sure why that was, maybe the job wasn't big enough for them? Anyway, Omni and First Choice were the ones that ignored us, despite coming out and promising they would get back to us right away with pricing. So now it was down to four companies. Presidential and Oasis were pretty close in price, the Southern Arizona and then Zarate. So we compared apples and apples with Presidential and Oasis and we went with Presidential because although their bids were close to each other, we felt most comfortable with Bill Butler. So we signed a contract with Presidential and gave them a deposit. They said it would take about a month to get permits and whatnot and that is about what it took. After the permit was issued we then met with Heather, the project manager with Presidential. She explained to us in detail what the process would be from start to finish. Much like with Bill, we felt comfortable with Heather right from the start. I am a big believer in communication and Heather was great at that, always letting us know when crews were going to be showing up and what was going to happen next, etc. Anyway, after the month or so wait for permits, our project got underway. From the day they began excavation until the day we were swimming the total elapsed time was six and a half weeks! After completion they had a tech come out and do all of the equipment start up, chemicals, etc., and then a couple of days after that they had a tech come out and show us how to run everything and take care of our pool. And while our backyard is still under construction (by us, see pictures), our pool is complete and myself and our family are enjoying it to the fullest! Presidential Pools was absolutely great and this entire experience was painless. They built a quality pool in a timely fashion for a price that fit our budget. BE AWARE THAT…read moreE-KONOMY POOLS HAS PURCHASED OTHER POOL COMPANIES IN THE TUCSON AREA! -Be sure when establishing service with a new pool company that it's NOT owned by OR associated with the owners of E-KONOMY!!! -Let's begin with my 80 YEAR OLD DISABLED widowed mother who used E-KONOMY Pools and was taken advantage of. -Charged for chemicals not used -Paid to have pool drained, power washed, tiles cleaned and PROMISED that this special tile chemical they charged her extra monthly for would prevent the calcium build up from coming back! Well you guessed it! It came back to which E-KONOMY Pools response was that they "didn't guarantee it wouldn't come back" and stated that the pool tiles weren't being maintained! WHAT? She paid E-KONOMY Pools for weekly service including brushing the tiles and pool, chemicals and services which were ALL part of the job and maintenance she was promised! -E-KONOMY Pools stated they would be happy to come give her a quote to have her tile cleaned...again...WHAT? Yet E-KONOMY POOLS has NEVER missed a monthly withdrawal from her account! Not to mention she hasn't been able to get into her pool for years-but just wants to keep it beautiful and maintained. -Ring Camera recorded Technician entering her backyard and leaving 10 minutes later. Once again not brushing pool nor checking chemical levels. Pool left with algae growing on sides when inspected. SHAME ON YOU E-KONOMY POOLS and your ridiculous excuses! What other Elderly and Disabled persons are being taken advantage of by this company? Unbelievable and absolutely not ok! Then there's our pool: -EVERY SUMMER...EVERY SUMMER- Pool Technicians falsifying documentation related to services rendered (and verified as falsified by Supervisors following up that Technician had lied). -Being told when lodging a complaint with E-KONOMY that GPS showed Technician at our address for 30 to 40 minutes. That is until our cameras showed Technician parked out front of our home for 20 minutes on their phones then coming into backyard for 10 to 15 minutes of service which showed them NOT brushing the sides, nor testing the chemical levels, nor backwashing which are the services we pay for on top of chemicals. -Now don't get me wrong-Fall, Winter, and Spring there's really nothing to do except check the balance...during those months we haven't expected nor asked the Technician to backwash except maybe once a month if needed but yet we pay the same amount all year. Not a problem-BUT do the job when we really need it during the SUMMER! -Camera recordings of Technician lowering pool water level then taking a picture and sending it to the company stating "water level in pool too low to backwash" so he didn't have to do it. -Been charged TWICE in one month for services and over charged for chemicals. -Continuous company turnover -Asked NUMEROUS times for quote on sand replacement for filter and NEVER received a response. These are just a few of the FRUSTRATING events without writing a book! We all work hard for our money and expect to get services agreed upon-not with this company where you're having to beg for good and fair service! Let that sink in: I was considering paying this company $80,000, and this is how I was treated. It was arrogant, cruel, and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be chastised or made to feel "less than," especially while dealing with a life-altering medical crisis. Matt, the Construction Manager, was very responsive and came to our home with Allen Denomy (Owner and Principal Designer of Denomy Designs) to walk the backyard and hear our ideas. Both Matt and Allen were extremely professional and helpful in offering suggestions on how to make our ideas come to life. We worked with Allen to design the backyard and were blown away at how quickly he put our designs together. He was very detail-oriented and offered a lot of creative ideas that we would have never conceived on our own. The design process was iterative, and we felt Allen heard and implemented our feedback so we always felt comfortable that we would end up with a design that would actually work and look beautiful. Once our design was finalized, Matt scheduled and coordinated all of the materials and labor. He quoted us 3 weeks to finish the backyard. To our pleasant surprise, everything went according to plan (and budget!) and they finished everything on the promised date. Matt was very communicative throughout the construction process, and it was easy to get ahold of him if we had any questions. From start to finish, the entire process was so smooth, and we are so happy with our backyard.
