Rented a house through this realtor for 18 months. Just 2 friends in professional jobs, with no pets, no kids. Needless to say, the older lady who runs the office has the demeanor of Roz from Monsters Inc, and always answers the phone like she's angry you even called (called maybe 3 or 4 times in an 18 month period). When we moved in, there was dog hair painted into the window sills, cockroaches in the pantry and bathroom vanity, big freaking black widow spiders in every corner of the garage, and sawdust in most of the corners of the living room. I cleaned up their mess myself, because it was only a 1 hour job, and I like to rely on myself. I've always left my prior rentals as clean, or cleaner than when I moved in. I even hired a professional cleaner on our move out this time, because I got the impression Premier would shake us down for all they could. The cleaners did an incredibly thorough job, including deep cleaning the carpet for $353. The place was cleaner than when we moved in. We also hired a pest control company to take care of our roach and spider problem the duration of our occupation. I just got what was left of our $1700 security deposit in the mail. They ended up hiring a carpet cleaner anyways ($250), a deep cleaner ($200), and a bunch of other simple "repairs", paint touch ups, rekeying, and lightbulb replacements for $285. Most rental agencies would call this natural "wear and tear", and include it in the rent. I do not recommend Premier Properties to anyone. I have been through 3 moves in the last 5 years, due to medical school and residency, and I've never had an agency nickle-and-dime me the way this one did. If you read the other reviews, you'll notice the great majority of positive ones are from property owners and not renters. Property owners may have a good experience, but as a renter you'll loose more money than it's worth read more

This business is unprofessional and rude to their tenants; KRISTY ERGO is responsible for the tenants and will treat you like dirt! Of course they're nice to you before signing any papers, they want your business! Down the road, they won't care that you're a loyal customer. They made their money! I had a water leak coming out of my water heater i went to there website singed in clicked maintenance request and put in my request, and in a matter of minutes i had a company contacting me for an immediate appointment to fix my water heater! If you're looking for a place to live try a place managed by Premier Properties. They are professional, courteous and more than efficient. All repairs were done immediately and they always accommodated my work schedule. I was with Premiere Properties for 3 years and had to relocate because of my job. I'm going to be moving again in a few months and I am hoping that I can find a place managed by Premiere Properties. I have lived in different places managed by other companies and no one compared to Premiere Properties. If you are a property owner and you need a company to manage your property, Premiere Properties is the best. I hope to be with them again soon! read more

DO NOT RENT from Premier Properties. Not only did they fail to get my ex-roommates last months rent when she gave her 30day notice (which they required me to pay off in order to continue living here), but they also altered the Tenant Ledger Report, taking my roommate off completely. It now says that I have lived here since 2009. I moved into the building in 2012. They have also replaced my roommates name with mine, making it look like I had been late on rent from time to time, showing that I had paid my own rent, plus a second check after the due date (my roommates rent check). In a second incident, they told my new roommate that he had paid his rent late. When he disputed this, they made him pay a late fee in order to stay in the apartment anyway, saying he had paid on the 8th, instead of the 5th. On the ledger report, they had posted that he had paid that late fee one month before it had even happened and had changed it to make it look as though I was the one that actually was late on the rent, trying to pit my roommate and I against each other. The very next month they tried yet again to acquire a late fee for rent that was turned in on time, saying that it was once again late. This time they skipped accusing my roommate and came straight after me, saying it was I that was late. According to their "own" records, it had shown that I paid the rent right on time, with them receiving it on the 6th of the month, which is within 5 days from with the rent was due, making it on time. Once again my roommate and I disputed this false claim and reported them to the BBB and FHA, at which point they retaliated illegally serving us a 60 day notice. "Any form of retaliation within 180 days of a formal complaint is illegal." "According to Califonria Civil Code. (CC, § 1350 et seq.) Section 10 of the Civil Code states that the time within which any act provided by law is to be done is computed by excluding the first day and including the last, unless the last is a holiday, and then it also is excluded. (See also Code of Civil Procedure § 12 and Gov. Code, § 6800.) Under the rule, the first day of the signing of an instrument or the happening of an event is excluded, and the counting of the time period starts on the following day. (Ziganto v. Taylor (1st Dist. 1961) 198 Cal. App. 2d 603 (construing CCP, § 12). The general rule of exclusion of the first day and inclusion of the last is not merely a rule of procedure for the court system. It applies to any act required by law unless the particular statute specifically provides otherwise. (Mox, Inc. v. Leventhal (3d Dist. 1928) 89 Cal.App. 253.) It also applies equally to acts permitted by law. (Scoville v. Anderson ((1901) 131 Cal. 590.) That means that it applies to CCR's unless the CCR's themselves provide an exception. Therefore, if rent is due on the first, it is not late until after the 6th." So if for some misguided reason you decide to rent from Premier Properties, just remember, they will falsify documents, make false accusations and attempt to illegally charge you wrongful late fees. There is also a large amount of black mold in the apartment, which they refused to take care of, broken light fixtures and a broken sink which has been reported numerous times, without any attempt of them fixing them. The landlord is also VERY rude about everything and will verbally attack you, no matter what your question or concern happens to be. read more

If it was an option I would give them no starts!!!! THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY!!! They are a f****** joke! We rented a home from them for a year and put our 30 day notice in! Had the whole house cleaned hired someone to shampoo the carpets and when doing the walk through we were told the carpets needed to be re shampooed whole house needed to be repainted and re cleaned and we would get what was left of our deposit mailed back! Just started working with Premier about three weeks ago and ending up renting one of their homes. The home is in excellent condition (it's their home, I understand) and the company has been extremely easy to work with. We were able to get the key early and they allowed us to split up our pet deposit. They are very friendly whenever we have gone into the office and even the maintenence man introduced himself to us the last time we were in the office. read more

I just got off the phone and whomever answered the phone should not work in customer service. Good lord. I think if you work for a company you should at least be pleasant. I asked about two properties and she mentioned that I must have got the information over the internet and they were not ready to view. How should I know?? Its say available on the internet. The attitude was terrible on her part. I wish I knew who was in charge with the business - I would let them know. If your in a bad mood, maybe don't take it out on the customer. First of all, I have to say this company does not know I am writing this review. My husband and I owned two properties managed by Premier Properties and were just thinking how great our experience had been with them, so I wanted to post this review. Unfortunately, we purchased our two properties during the peak and could only hold them for two years before we decided to sell and cut our losses. Thankfully, this company's efforts helped minimize our losses on one property and actually provided a profit on the other. Market conditions aside, this company was so great at property management and record keeping, that we often forgot we even had the rentals, were it not for the monthly statements. They provided excellent, easy to read monthly and year end statements that were easy to plug into my tax forms at the end of the year. They screened the tenants and found us great people to occupy our rentals, at high market rents. They gave us progress reports when properties were shown and applications were taken for potential tenants. They had great handymen and contractors to deal with any repairs that came up, which rarely did, and called us if the repair amount was going to exceed our cap, otherwise, they just took care of any issues. I wish they offered property manangement everywhere else we wanted to purchase rentals. We have worked with many property management companies. They have set the bar for which we compare all others. Flash forward, I am now a Realtor in the San Francisco bay area. I sort of took it for grated that all companies offered this level of service to property owners. I have not yet encountered another company that does property management as well as this company. read more

Wade Mckinley showed me the house that I am now renting. He was very nice, professional, respectful and wasn't annoyed with all my questions considering I'm a first time renter. Kristi Ergo is the one I've been in contact with about appliances not working and just simple questions about the house. At first she seemed nice but the more questions I had the more annoyed she became. 95% of the information she gave me was incorrect. When I called to talk to Cheryl Johnson about the converstaion I had with Kristi, she argued with me. She told me that Kristi would have never given me the information that I was saying she gave me. Really!?! Are you calling me a liar? To think I just moved in and will have to deal with them for the next year. Yikes! What a horrible first experience. Kristi and Cheryl or so unprofessional and have no customer service skills. I do not recommend renting through this company. read more
