I got golden oak, but not sure if I love it. maybe should have gone with the golden pecan. also, be aware though that the existing molding will likely get scratched and you might have to repaint it/touch it up. Hello people. Some bad news here as to the scam I…read moreexperienced. Rashidi had two pieces of mine, a small chair and a console. I was told they were done. I went to pick up both pieces. When I got there, the chair was in pieces and I was told it was beyond repair. He did not tell me this ahead of time before I got there. The console was to have a new solid oak top replaced. He showed me a piece of wood he had in the shop as an example of what he would use. He did not use that. He put on pieces of non-uniform, mismatched veneer. Not solid oak as per the contract. There were other small details in the contract, e.g. nail holes to be filled and a loose drawer to be fixed. These were not attended to at all. The back of the legs, which granted you can not see, were not finished. He has not made good on a promise to replace the top and fix details. Update June 13, 2026: I was there today and the owner has now promised to do the repairs on the console.

Unfortunately never had any discussion about options and what coating would work best for what i want as well as pros/cons of different polyurethanes. A crew showed up, got right to work and left. After a couple days i noticed imperfections in a couple of the rooms so i reached back out to them. They were very quick to respond and sent the crew out the same day, they inspected the floors and ended up doing another coat at no cost. Floors came out great. I went with American Stone for our cabinets and countertop as part of a full kitchen remodel. They really went above and beyond for us - we placed our cabinet order in mid-February, and they were willing to hold the cabinets until we wanted to start the work in April/May. Since this is 2020, of course, we went into lockdown and they hung on to half of our cabinets in their office for much longer than that. It was really nice of them - I had taken delivery on the cabinets that I could fit in my garage, but that left the pantry and other big ones. When we did start the work, Steve was very good at keeping in touch with me and ensuring the delivery, templating, and installation went smoothly. The only thing I'd recommend for someone checking them out is to make sure you clarify what edge profile you want - ours was slightly miscommunicated. Their prices are very competitive - for all our cabinets (no installation - our contractor did the install), countertop slab/fabrication, we paid around $14,000 cash out the door.
